When Imam Azam Abu Hanifa was young, an atheist was openly denying God, walking the streets of Kufa shouting, "If God exists, show him to me!" Although some told him his claim was false, he refused to abandon his denial, shouting, "Let your scholars come!" One day, someone said to him: "We have a young scholar. If you defeat him, only then will our great scholars meet with you." The man, with a condescending sneer, said: "Very well, I accept! Let him come and face me!" The man was invited to a scholarly gathering attended by Imam Azam. Thinking he could silence the scholars with a single word, the atheist didn't hesitate to attend. However, Imam Azam arrived late that day. Seizing this opportunity, the atheist, with a loud voice, attacked the Imam: "You're late, little one! You're afraid of me, aren't you?" The Imam said: “No, I wasn’t afraid. Our house is on the other side of the river. When I came to the river to cross, I saw that the bridge over the river had collapsed. So I immediately ordered the trees next to me to become a boat to take me across. They became a boat, and I crossed. That’s why I was late.” The man burst into laughter at this answer: “Foolish child! Can a tree ever become a boat on its own?” Abu Hanifa became serious and retorted: “You are the fool! You don’t even accept that a boat can be made on its own, so how can you claim that this vast universe exists on its own?” Surprised by this insightful observation, the guy said: “You caught me off guard, little one! Well, show me the God whose existence you claim, and then i will believe.” Abu Hanifa asked for a glass of milk. The people brought the milk. Abu Hanifa took the milk and asked: “Can you show me the butter and cheese in this milk?” The man, astonished, said, "You can't see fat and cheese in milk!" This time, the Imam exclaimed: "You accept that there is fat and cheese in this milk, but you can't show it. So, is it possible to show Almighty God by saying, 'Here is God'?" Despite these convincing answers, the man, still stubbornly refusing to believe in God's existence, said: "I will be convinced if you can answer my last question. Since you say 'God exists,' what is He doing right now?" Abu Hanifa, after a moment's thought, said, "Come down from the pulpit, and I will give you the answer." the unbeliever stepped down, and Abu Hanifa came up to the pulpit, and continued: "Right now, God has removed an unbeliever like you from this pulpit and raised a humble servant like me." The unbeliever was left speechless. He surrendered to the Imam's rational arguments and admitted his defeat.

Irak turumuzda Bağdat Şehrindeyiz. Ebu Hanife Cami'sini ziyaret ediyoruz. Bağdat'ın en önemli tarihi ve dini yapılarından biri olan Ebu Hanife Camii, Hanefi mezhebinin kurucusu İmam-ı Azam Ebu Hanife'nin türbesinin etrafında inşa edilmiş büyük bir külliye. İmam-ı Azam Ebu Hanife'nin vefatından sonra basit kerpiçten bir mezar yapılmış, daha sonra Selçuklu Devleti döneminde cami, medrese eklenerek yeniden inşa edilmiş. Tarih boyunca birçok kez tahrip olmuş, Osmanlı döneminde defalarca onarım geçirmiş. Kanuni zamanda hamam, ribat, imaret gibi yapılar eklenmiş. Son zamanda 2003 İşgalim de külliye özellikle saat kulesi hasar almış. Günümüzde, Türk İşbirliği ve Koordinasyon Ajansı Başkanlığı (TİKA) tarafından türbe ve külliyenin yenilenme ve restorasyonu yapılmış. Ziyaretimiz sırasında caminin ve türbenin çok süslü olması dikkatimizi çekti. Cami, diğer önemli kamu kurumları gibi devamlı polis korumasına. Birde bizi her görenin Cami içinde yardım istemesi güzel bir davranış değil.

🌷 جامع أبو حنيفة النعمان 🌷 جامع الإمام الأعظم أو جامع أبو حنيفة النعمان هو أحد المساجد والمدارس التاريخية في مدينة بغداد، وتسمى المنطقة حول الجامع منطقة الأعظمية نسبة إليهِ وتقع في شمال بغداد على جهة الرصافة ويقابلها منطقة الكاظمية نسبة إلى مرقد موسى الكاظم الذي يقع فيها، ولقد بني المسجد عام 375 هـ بجوار قبر الإمام أبي حنيفة النعمان، ثم في عام 459 هـ/ 1066م، بني مشهد وقبة على القبر وكذلك مدرسة كبيرة، وتعتبر مدرسة أبي حنيفة الفقهية من أقدم المدارس وتسمى حالياً كلية الإمام الأعظم، وهي واحدة من ثلاثة أقدم جامعات على مستوى العالم، حيث سبقتها جامعة القرويين في المغرب، إذ بني جامع القرويين في عام 859م، والجامع الأزهر في مصر الذي تأسس في عام 972م، ولقد بنيت أول الجامعات الأوروبية بعد ذلك في عام 1088م، وهي جامعة بولونيا في إيطاليا. جامع الإمام أبو حنيفة النعمان واحد من أقدم وأهم المساجد في بغداد، ويُعتبر مركزًا علميًا وروحيًا بارزًا عند المسلمين، خاصة أتباع المذهب الحنفي. 🔹 الموقع: يقع الجامع في منطقة الأعظمية شمال بغداد، على ضفاف نهر دجلة. 🔹 التسمية: سُمّي بهذا الاسم لوجود ضريح الإمام الفقيه أبو حنيفة النعمان بن ثابت الكوفي (699–767م) مؤسس المذهب الحنفي. 🔹 التاريخ: بُني أول مسجد في هذا الموضع في العصر العباسي. جُدد عبر العصور عدة مرات، خاصة في العهد العثماني. في القرن العشرين توسع الجامع ليصبح من أكبر المساجد في العراق. 🔹 العمارة: -يتميز بمئذنته التاريخية المائلة الشهيرة. -يحتوي على قبة كبيرة تعلو ضريح الإمام. -صحن واسع محاط بالأواوين، مع قاعات للصلاة والدروس. 🔹 الدور العلمي: كان مركزًا لطلبة العلم، وتُلقى فيه الدروس الدينية والفقهية. أوقاف جامع أبي حنيفة كان آل متولي، وهم من أسر الأعظمية، يديرون شؤون أوقاف الجامع. كانت منطقة بزايز كرود خليل باشا، التي تُسمى اليوم الصليخ الجديد، من أوقاف جامع الإمام الأعظم ثم بيعتْ إلى المصرف العقاري. في مكتبة الجامع وثائق قيمة مهداة وموقوفة من قبل بعض المتبرعين تشمل: - مصحف كبير ومذهب ومزخرف هدية من حافظ محمد أمين الرشدي سنة 1236 هـ للسلطان محمود. وقد طبعته وزارة الأوقاف ثلاث مرات في الأعوام 1379 هـ، 1386 هـ، و1391 هـ. والطبعات الثلاث بإشراف الخطاط هاشم محمد البغدادي. -المصحف المشهور ب(قرآن أنور باشا) بخط إسطنبولي محلى بالذهب، غلافه من الذهب مرصع بالألماس، أهدي خلال الحرب العالمية الأولى. - مصحف كبير الحجم مزخرف ومذهب جميعه، كل صفحة سطران كبيران بخط كبير، كتب بماء الذهب، وبعضها بحروف أصغر. يقال لهذا النوع ياقوتي. أوقفه مصطفى آغا القابولي سنة 1073 هـ. - مصحف زخرفته قليلة (بخط ياقوت) وليس عليه تاريخ. - مصحف كتب بماء الذهب للسطر الكبير، وبقية الأسطر بالحبر الأسود، وفي أطرافه دوائر مزخرفة بالذهب والألوان. أهداه مصطفى آغا سنة 1073 هـ وكان موضوعاً على صف مزخرف بالصدف. - مصحف كتبتهُ امرأة. - مصحف ضخم جداً مذهب ومزخرف على أطرافه تعليقات كوفية مزخرفة بالذهب، كتب سنة 1048 هـ. أهداه مصطفى باشا. - مصحف مذهب ياقوتي سطر كبير والبقية أسطر صغيرة، كتبه سنة 1100 هـ محمد الكاتب. وهو النسخة الخامسة والعشرون مما نمقه. - مصحف كبير الحجم، تذهيبه قليل وزخرفته قليلة أيضاً، كتبه عمر بن الشيخ حسين سنة 1095 هـ. -مصحف كبير جداً كتب سنة 1160 هـ أوقفه محمود خان مصطفى. - مصحف كبير وضع داخل صندوق كبير من الفضة المزخرفة والمطعم بالأحجار النفيسة، وهو هدية ملك الأفغان محمد ظاهر شاه سنة 1950م. - وهناك مصاحف كثيرة جداً بعضها مزخرف ومذهب في بدايته ونهايته والبعض الآخر بلا زخرفة أو تذهيب.

Restorasyonunu Türkiye Cumhurbaşkanliğinin yaptigina dair bir yazi okudum، çok duygulandim ve inanılmaz gurur duydum ülkemle.Eski halini de bilirim çok güzeldi ama yeni hali çok bakimli tarihi korunarak tertemiz mis gibi olmuş. Like most sacred and religious sites in Baghdad, visitors are required to pass through thorough security checks to ensure safety and order. Women visitors are also thoughtfully provided with veils at the entrance in case their attire does not fully meet the modest dress requirements, making the site welcoming and respectful for all.

The Abu Hanifa Mosque, also known as the Grand Imam Mosque, is one of the most prominent Sunni mosques in Baghdad. It is built around the tomb of Abu Hanifah an-Nu'man, the founder of the Hanafi Madhhab or school of Islamic religious jurisprudence. It’s one of the most beautiful Mosques in Iraq and has one of the most unique interior architecture. The place is also very relaxing to the soul and typically not crowded. I would highly recommend visiting this extremely important landmark in Baghdad, and make sure you go in a time of prayer.

One really feels blessed when an opportunity is provided by Allah to visit and pay salam to an islamic scholar and Preacher like imam abu hanifa (RA). When I visited it, the shrine's door was locked. But the caretaker was kind enough to unlock and open the gate for me and few other people who were present there at that time. So, if you are visiting baghdad never forget to visit and pay your salam to historical and religious scholars.

جامع الأمام الأعظم ابو حنيفة النعمان رحمه الله،يقع في منطقة الأعظمية قرب ضفاف نهر دجلة وقبل جسر الأئمة المؤدي الى منطقة الكاظمية، من المساجد ذات العمران العثماني الرائع المتميز بشكل قبابه ومآذنه وتصميمه الداخلي الواسع والآخاذ.يسارا عند الدخول للمكان وعلى جهة معزولة يوجد مرقد الإمام ابو حنيفة مفصول عن أماكن الصلاة! للمسجد منبر جميل يتميز بعلوه وألوانه البيضاء الناصعة و تطعيماته المذهبة. المسجد متباعد الأطراف ويوجد على إحدى إطرافه مدرسة الإمام الأعظم او ما يعرف بكلية الأمام الأعظم في الوقت الحالي. على الجهة اليمنى للمسجد فناء واسع يحتوي على مظلات كبيرة مشابهة لتلك الموجودة في المدينة المنورة ثم محلات الوضوء ثم مقر هيئة الأفتاء. سابقا كانت هناك اربعة ابواب للدخول من عدة جوانب أما الآن ولأسباب أمنية وتنظيمية يوجد باب رئيسي واحد. من أحلى الإضافات التي حصلت في القرن العشرين هي إضافة برج الساعة بطابع عمراني مشابه لأصل المسجد وفي أعلى البرج ساعة كبيرة جدا يدل على توقيت بغداد علما أن أصوات أجراسها تسمع رغم ان المنطقة تجارية ومزدحمة جدا.

جامع قديم جدا فيه مرقد الامام ابي حنيفة. النعمان رحمه الله زرته اول مرة عام 2002 عندما اردت الفحص الطبي للتعيين ونسيت دفتر التجنيد وبت في بيت صديق اخي بالعسكرية كان بيته قريب من المرقد .. واخر زيارة له يوم 1 شعبان ليلة الجمعة على الخميس الساعة 12 عشر ليلا يوم 31/1/2025 مع الصديق الغالي ماموستا محمد من كركوك.

This is very old mosque around more than 700+ yrs old. Imam Abu Hanifa is one of the great Imam among all the 4 four imams in Islam. This place is very beautiful and neatly maintained having space for Washroom , wadhu . Inside this mosque there is shrine place Imam Abu Hanifa inside mosque premises. The inside architecture is very commendable
