Addis in Dar

Als je hier gaat eten stap je een andere wereld binnen vol prachtige tradities. De entourage is sfeervol, de bediening attent en het (voor ons) vegetarische eten was gewoonweg verbluffend lekker. Zo lekker dat we in de vakantie met ons gezin zelfs 2 keer met ons gezin hier graag wilden eten! Een must als je in Dar bent❣️🫶❤️

Seit vielen Jahren gehen wir regelmässig im Addis in Dar essen. Das Essen ist sehr fein und insgesamt ist es immer ein Erlebnis.

Hi there, If you looking for a romantic date with girl, this is the place. The food just authentic, you eat with your hands though so no rubbing eyes after... Service was a bit slow but the rest of the ambiance made you feel so relaxed that you actually only noticed when you checked the time. I definitely will go back. Cheers

Nice and cosy place with good service. It was our first time trying Ethiopian food, good experience. However, the portions were quite small, and unfortunately, it felt a bit pricey for the quantity

Wow. This place is incredible, a quiet spot tucked away from the busier streets. Traditional Ethiopian cuisine with curry style dishes served sociably onto one single sharing plate onto an Ethiopian style rice based pancake. Not only is the service and food fantastic, it makes for a really unique dining experience. The staff are lovely and very friendly.

Beautiful atmosphere, calm and cozy place embedded with Ethiopian culture and a mini museum-like. This was my first time trying Ethiopian food. Gotta say I'm not that big of a fan, but everyone else I went with seem to really enjoy the food, so I guess it depends with your palate. The overall service was really good.

Very Unique experience at Addis in Dar. The food is yummy & tasty, the coffee as well was soo good. The Ethopian wine they had Tej, it was a sweet wine. Atleast enjoyed the experience & the surrounding.

One of the finest restaurants in Dar es Salaam. The whole experience of sharing food in a traditional Ethiopian platter, the nice first floor veranda, the Tanzanian night sky, the furniture and the music add to a unique experience. All the dishes we tried were well cooked and tasty but the lamb was delicious! The service was very polite and genuinely friendly and the prices were reasonable for tourists.

Was taken there for my birthday treat by close friends... it wqs one of my best birthdays ever. Absolutely awesome Ethiopian food, with amazing ambience to match. The staff is friendly and they make sure you are as comfortable as possible. Go there in a group, so that everyone orders different food and you get to sample a variety of their cuisine.

The staff here is 100% pleasant and professional. Food is great authentic Ethiopian food. Excellent experience all over. A bit too pricey for Dar but it's worth every bite.

Do the coffee ceremony. At least have coffee while you are there. It is such a treat😊☕️

Addis in DAR ... Lovely place. The ambiance is great... You feel a bit of fairy tale. Service is very polite and efficient. All goes smooth and with ease. It has become one of my favorite places after just one visit but will go in the coming days again to see how consistent it is. How to evaluate Ethiopian Food, I honestly believe for non-Ethiopian it will always be subjective. We enjoyed it very much, the pumpkin was lovely full of aromas, the bread lovely, I enjoyed the shrimps and chicken that where bombs of condiments and spices just lovely. The waitress coming with water for you to wash your hands... Just nice (suggestion here I would put some scent in the water... just a little) It will also be a place where I will take guests often and happily. Have a nice meal!

Well, the ambient, lights, chairs, tables, way of serving the food and all arrangements very unique and I believe authentic (as I can’t compare to any other Ethiopian restaurant). Nevertheless, what I believe is the most important - the food, was not within our taste. The bread was very sour and made our eating very mixed taste and feeling. We will definitely not come again and I would rather not recommend this place to my friends.

Great place, ambiance and food are very good. Staff are helpful, we enjoyed the music and experienced their unique of celebrating birthday. One must experience Adis in Dar during their stay in Dar.

The name is definitely a description of the experience. It's like walking into a completely different world in Dar es Salaam. Top quality food and service with great presentation

Just thinking about the food at Addis in Dar makes my mouth water and heart feel happy. I love this place like crazy. The food is perfect every time we go. The staff are very professional and attentive. The ambiance is lovely. We had take away for the first time tonight and it was still great! I was very happy to see that bundle of injera with our family sized meal!

Love the name of this place, but obviously also the great Ethiopian dishes and sharing style. Very tasteful food and pleasant atmosphere

Addis In Dar is a place to be if you love Ethiopian foods. The spot is exceptionally cosy and family-friendly, the food, music and vibe are as perfect as in Ethiopia (those who have been to Ethiopia & Addis In Dar will agree), and service is of a high level which explains the pricing 😜. I wish they had Ethiopian homemade juice options.

The food was blunt. Ordered non spicy doro & the lamb sauce. Had better. The two stars are for the beautiful ambience and service. But the food, was a no for us

Was taken here by my friend... it is such a nice place. They are open from 4pm to 1030pm..nice place for both alone time and time with loved one, like family or partner. Good historic place for Ethiopia. Have best historic pictures of the Ethiopian country their food is delicious and spicy.they also offer coffee..strong coffee. i will definitely go back..this time i know it will be amazing as well
