Studying at University of Adelaide has been one of the proudest chapters in our family’s journey. Located in the beautiful and peaceful city of Adelaide, this prestigious university is not only one of Australia’s oldest institutions, but also a place where dreams are shaped into reality. The university is internationally respected for its academic excellence, research achievements, and generations of distinguished graduates, including Nobel Prize winners, political leaders, scientists, and innovators. For our family, the university carries an even deeper emotional meaning. Our son, Ngô Khôi Huê, graduated with a Master’s degree in Finance in 2022, marking an important milestone after years of dedication and hard work. During his time there, he gained not only professional knowledge in global finance and economics, but also confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships. The multicultural learning environment and supportive lecturers helped him grow into a mature and capable professional ready to contribute internationally. Three years later, our daughter, Ngô Kim Phương, proudly completed her Bachelor’s degree in Design in 2025. Adelaide provided her with an inspiring environment filled with creativity, innovation, and artistic freedom. The campus atmosphere encouraged students to think beyond boundaries, combining practical skills with modern design thinking. Watching her graduate was a deeply emotional moment for our entire family, as it represented the success of persistence, passion, and family support. What makes the University of Adelaide truly special is not only its academic reputation, but also the warmth and inclusiveness of its community. Students from all around the world come together here to learn, share cultures, and build lifelong memories. Adelaide itself is a safe, clean, and welcoming city that provides an excellent quality of life for international students. We will always be grateful to this remarkable university for helping shape the futures of both our children. It is more than a university to our family — it is a place of achievement, growth, unforgettable memories, and dreams fulfilled. The University of Adelaide is an impressive institution with a stunning mix of historic and modern architecture. The campus is well-organised, clean, and very welcoming. Staff and faculty are professional and helpful, making administrative processes smooth for students. Facilities such as libraries, study spaces, and labs are top quality. The location of the university is also a huge advantage.

Adelaide has truly impressed me with its remarkable architectural beauty. The University of Adelaide, along with the surrounding buildings, showcases a rich blend of historical and artistic design that is unparalleled. In comparison, I feel that Adelaide’s frequency of stunning architectural works within a given area surpasses that of Melbourne. This reflects the exceptional artistic vision and dedication of those who built the city during its early days. Another fascinating aspect of Adelaide is its unique flora. I came across a type of leaf that stands out with its large size and rigid structure, which allows it to be split easily lengthwise. It’s something I’ve never encountered in Melbourne and adds to the city’s charm and distinctiveness. Adelaide is a city that surprises you with its attention to detail, both in its urban design and natural environment.

Good university with really good architecture. The environment really support for study, discussion, and research. There's many faculties and study program with many buildings. There's musholla also for Muslim to sholat. The musholla is clean and comfortable.

This is a very beautiful University campus, which is located inside the Adelaide City. The merger of the University of Adelaide and the University of South Australia was blessed by the necessary legislation in May 2024. The new institution with new name "Adelaide University" will formally open on 1 Janaury 2026.

Currently studying master of mechanical engineering here. Nice campus with warm staff. Some places are unable to access if you are not a student of the faculty after 6 o’clock on weekdays or whole weekends. The teaching styles of professors are all different but normally satisfied with them. If you are looking for a better future, be better prepared.

Can’t say I have studied here but the grounds are just lovely! Plenty of green open spaces, a mix of historic and modern buildings combined with some lovely architecture as well! Well worth a walk around particularly if you have a hour or so to soak in the details!

Idk the experience as a student, as a tourist, it is a great place to visit

I can only comment on the grounds. An inviting and peaceful location in the heart of the city of Adelaide. There are many outdoor areas for study, relaxation or to just sit and have a snack. This campus is large. I recommend you access a map to make your visit more enjoyable. You can walk from North Terrace, heading north, through the campus to access the River Torrens area. Even an Australia Post outlet. Wheelchair ♿ access is readily available throughout. Lovely grounds to wander through or stop and just take in all the history of the beautiful old buildings.

Plenty of green open spaces with lovely architecture all around! Getting from A to B can feel overwhelming at first but after studying here a while, it's a breeze! Everyone is super friendly!

Beautiful campus, long history and many outstanding talents. Founded in 1874,The University of Adelaide is the third university in Australian history and the oldest university in South Australia. The North Terrace campus is located beside the beautiful Torrens River. As of 2019, The University of Adelaide has cultivated 5 Nobel Prize winners and 108 Rhodes scholars. Hope and believe that The University of Adelaide will cultivate more top talents. Sub Cruce Lumen.

The North Terrace marks the top border of the Adelaide CBD, the main road before the river. On the North Terrace is situated many Adelaide landmarks including the Parliament House, The Royal Adelaide Hospital, Adelaide Casino, The State Library of South Australia and the University of Adelaide. I was only in senior school at the time, but somehow found myself spending a lot of time here, particularly wandering the grounds of the University of Adelaide. One of my cousins was studying here at the time and there are times when I would follow her here. The buildings are beautiful, the libraries amazing and they have this amazing university bookstore that I love spending time in. Yeah, I was a weird nerdy kid. But it was my way of escape. The University itself is the 3rd oldest in Australia and at one point, was one of my major choices for where I would have ended up studying. Too bad Adelaide felt too slow for me but I do love the campus here. I used to spend time in the Barr Smith Library, just watching other university students go about campus life, counting down towards my turn at university.

Natural justice infringements and Procedural unfairness Dismissive. Communication is unacceptable, time management of lecturers and officers is also unacceptable, no opportunities for students to be heard though uni Adelaide likes to market this a lot, extremely unprofessional. Breaches of natural justice and procedural unfairness. This has been logged.

The uni merger is so badly planned. So many technical issues for current students and not enough staff to fix them.

Very expensive to study here. But the University is very old and good uni.

Prestigious university with a beautiful admixture of modern and neoclassical buildings

I studied Master of International Trade and Development at Uni Adelaide. The North terrace campus is a beautiful one. I love the mosque at union house particularly.
