I have never expected this level of unprofessional behavior at Adidas, especially in Mall of the Emirates.
My visit on 2 December 2025 between 18:30–19:00 was shocking.
Everything was perfectly fine until we interacted with one staff member (name: Buddhacharya). His attitude ruined our entire shopping experience.
We were trying to use the 40% staff discount for our jerseys, and instead of helping us understand the process, he spoke to us rudely, lacked patience, and made us feel as if we were bothering him. He even blamed us for “not knowing how to calculate,” which was unnecessary and disrespectful.
When my friend asked normal questions for future visits, his response was dismissive — he even implied that we should be thankful he wasn’t “angry,” which was absurd.
His behaviour continued at the counter. When I asked for a voucher, he laughed publicly, corrected me sarcastically, and made me feel embarrassed in front of other customers.
Finally, when we questioned why bags cost extra after spending over AED 800, his reply was, “If you don’t want to pay, take it like this,” while handing our jerseys without a bag. The attitude was unacceptable.
I love Adidas — we are loyal customers — but encountering such disrespectful and unprofessional service from this employee was genuinely disappointing. The rest of the staff were fine, but this one experience completely spoiled our visit.
I really hope Adidas takes action because behaviour like this damages the brand’s image and pushes loyal customers away.
