Went to see Back to the Future on a weeknight. I was seated in the last balcony, on the left side. View was really great for the price although you see a small amount of the lighting spots. But it doesn’t bother you much. Toilets are also just next to you so it's a convenient place. Seat was comfortable with enough space in front of me. The only downside was that they close the toilets at the end of the show and you take a backstage stair so you get out in the narrow alley which can be crowded.

Saw the BTTF musical on Thursday 5th March, the theatre itself was very tidy, staff were kind and helpful and enthusiastic. No issues getting in and their is multiple bars inside the theatre itself on each level. So no chance youll get thirsty lol. One thing to note, no noticeable air conditioning. If there is, I didnt notice it. Was extremely warm in upper circle once sat down. The musical itself was amazing 👏 highly recommend seeing it if your a fan of the BTTF movie.

BTTFミュージカルを見に訪問。オリジナルミュージカル誕生の場所です。 もちろん本編が最高だったのですが、ロビーの展示がメチャクチャいい！！まず1階では映画ゆかりの看板やストアがありテンション爆上がり！地下階と2階以上は各種ポスターが飾ってあります！全部写真撮りました。どれもカッコいい！新しいながらも映画のエッセンスを写しており、さすが作品の力がある！特に本編内のセリフをモチーフにしたポスターが良かった…！ ミュージカル本編終了後はロビーを通れないので、気になる人は開演前に行ってください！ 本編、3階席の一番前で見たのですが、ホール自体が少しコンパクトめなので結構見下ろす感じになりました。多分2階席の前の方が一番見やすいのではと思います！

We went to see Back To the Future! It was incredible! Absolutely incredible! An amazing show! An amazing theatre. The stage setup and lighting are phenomenal. The Best show we have seen in the West End. Would definitely recommend it. Thank you for taking us back to 1955 💫.

Ma première comédie musicale et quelle expérience mémorable dans ce superbe théâtre ! Malgré l’énorme monde dans la queue, le personnel nous a fait rapidement entrer et nous avons peu attendu. La salle est super bien climatisé, il faisait vraiment bon/frais (là où dans certaines salles on transpire tellement il fait chaud). J’avais une superbe vue de la scène à l’intérieur, le siège est confortable (mais j’aurai aimé plus de places pour les jambes) et le son était bien mixé (fort mais pas assourdissant). J’ai vu Back To The Future et c’était extraordinaire ! Des comédies hyper talentueux et vraiment attachants, de superbes chorégraphies, les effets spéciaux sont époustouflants (explosion, feu, étincelle, fumée, rideau de cinéma, la voiture qui vole au dessus du public !!) et les décors sont tellement détaillés on dirait un plateau de cinéma ! J’ai passé un excellent moment je recommande absolument !

Takes cash payments in some of the bars and the shop. Back to the Future is the best show ive seen for ages. The dialogue is well written, the songs have clever and funny content. The music is varied and the band is amazing. Great choreography & costumes. The musical numbers really add to the story. Amazing multimedia stage production. See it while it's still on! Comfortable theatre with reasonable bar prices and some beautiful art deco inspired decor

I chose this musical for the experience that I was going to relive the time that I first watched Back to the Future and oh my goodness I was in for such a sweet treat!!!! The nostalgia came flooding back, the effects were electric and so captivating, everything is done according to how the movie went and I was all here for it! All the musical numbers were catchy and super energizing, and I loved Doc and Marty!!! Definitely see this show!!! It’s a must-watch time travelling masterpiece!!!!!

Fui a ver back to the future en julio y fue una de las mejores obras que ví, al no haber visto la película no iba con muchas expectativas pero los actores y los efectos son excepcionales y terminan atrapandote en cada segundo, fui con unos amigos que no les gusta para nada el teatro y terminaron fascinados, así que es una obra que vale la pena ver no importa si es de tu interés o no. Perfecto para todas las edades. Por otro lado encontré el teatro pequeño y su estructura algo incomoda pero nada más para destacar.

Friendly helpful staff, great value as booked last minute as a walk in. Great seats for less than 20 pounds. Back to the Future was amazing. Thoroughly recommended. Easy to get to by tube. Only quibble would be how tight the seating is as I am 5 ft 10 and the squeeze made my back and hip pain return. If you are tall maybe sit on the ground floor as there is more leg room.

Tolles Theater! Gute Größe, von überall eine gute Sicht und genug Platz zum sitzen. Sound und Licht sind sehr gut. Es war ein wahres Fest! Das Musical ,,Back to the Future" war grandios!

It has a fantastic venue and is an ambitious fusion of technology and theatre through popular culture... We watched the Back to the Future musical, and everything about it was wonderful. The prices for food and drinks aren't too expensive either...

Amazing watched Back to the future!!!!! The place is clean and well run,yhe staff are good to, if you want ice cream at the interval be prepared to pay £6.50. The sjole day was very expensive but the show was great.

This review is for the theatre building. For the Back to the Future musical please see my separate review. Like most theatres in London The Adelphi has real character. They have made a real effort with the set up for Back to the Future to make it look like 1955.

Went to the Adelphi Theatre for Back to the Future the Musical on Saturday 13th September 2025, starring Brian Conley as Doc Emmett Brown. Was in the Dress Circle at the time. Not much leg room as I recall. The view was decent. You are not allowed to take photos or videos during the performance but is ok in the time before, at the interval and after the show. I went to the bar when thirsty at the interval and got a bottle of Coca Cola for around £4.60. At the end they had crates to dispose of rubbish like the empty bottles. Show started around 7:35pm. Interval after 9pm. Show ended sometime after 10pm that evening. If you arrive early, there is time to walk to the Thames via the Victoria Embankment. Even then, once seated, you have to wait half an hour or so for the show to start. I left my backpack at the hotel, only had my camera and camera bag on me.

Back to the Future the musical - wow wow wow! Absolutely fantastic in every way. The theatre was great. Absolutely loved the Hill Valley styling of the foyer. The theatre staff were all friendly. Go watch this show before it finishes or look out for the UK tour in 2026 ☆☆☆☆☆. A must see for film fans 🥰

Magnifique spectacle ! Une superbe expérience à vivre pour les fans de Retour vers le futur. La mise en scène, les décors et les acteurs sont extraordinaires. L'expérience est très fidèle au film avec en plus des chansons et la musique interprétées en live par un orchestre dissimulé sous la scène. Franchement génial !

We had Upper circle A22 & A23 Leg room a bit restricted, if your tall, maybe a bit uncomfortable. But great views. Which made up for this amazing show. Fantastic affects. A few surprises in the show. Had to shut my eyes in a couple of places as the flashing of really bright lights hurt my eyes. Great vocals and choreography. Amazing ending with the car, still mystified how they did it. Well worth seeing.

Das Theaterstück selber war stellenweise sehr unterhaltsam und die Technik hinter dem Musical beeindruckend. Das Theater selbst ist in die Jahre gekommen und speziell die Sitzgelegenheiten sind sehr unangenehm. Als Mensch über 1,80m drücken die Knie konstant gegen den Holzsitz vor einem. Noch schlimmer: Zwischen den sitzen wurden Fenegläser montiert. Diese nehmen exakt den Raum für die Knie ein und machen das Sitzerlebnis noch schlimmer. Was wir vorher nicht wussten ist die Tatsache, dass man den Merchandise nur vor dem Musical kaufen kann und nicht danach. Sobald das Stück vorbei ist wird man nach draußen geführt direkt. Stimmungstechnisch nicht wirklich angenehm.

We went to see Back to the Future on 18/9 . We were ‘in the gods’ seats . We got into the theatre very quickly, our bag was checked as you cannot take anything in . The male toilets were clean but very limited. The first half of the performance is very slow but the second half makes up for it, the ending with the DeLoren car special effect is amazing. Charing Cross underground station is the nearest which is a 5 minute walk away

Uno spettacolo da rimanere a bocca aperta, sensazionali mai visto un musical tanto bello coinvolgente pieno di cambi di scena..... Attori bravissimi rendono lo spettacolo emozionante un vero viaggio nel tempo e nel cuore!! È stato il più bel regalo che ci siamo fatti io e mia moglie in occasione del suo compleanno....
