Dr. Anand Pattani provided extremely poor care. He did not listen to my concerns, assist appropriately, or correctly diagnose my condition. The triage staff were unprofessional and unsafe. One nurse grabbed my arm to start an IV without explaining or asking, then left the blood in. Another shouted questions at me, preventing me from explaining my symptoms.
I am a medical assistant and nursing student, so I understand handling a busy environment, yet they claimed it was “slow tonight.” Their behavior was dangerous, especially since my pain—severe and potentially indicative of serious conditions like stroke—was dismissed as “stress-related chest pain” without proper evaluation. Dr. Pattani misdiagnosed me with muscle pain and did not order an X-ray for the area of concern.
The EKG was performed incorrectly, with leads placed on my abdomen, and my shirt was lifted in a hallway without explanation. During the X-ray, I could not remove my bra comfortably due to the IV and tight clothing, and I had to remain in the lobby in an unsanitary manner. The examination room lacked privacy, exposing my medical information. Vital signs were taken incorrectly, and no follow-up readings were obtained.
I sat for five hours, was told to place tennis balls behind my back for relief, and received no pain management or proper imaging despite repeatedly requesting to rule out nerve or serious issues.
The NP who appeared on the screen did not introduce herself, only saying, “CHEST XRAY EKG BYE.”
I will never return. This facility demonstrated unprofessional, unsafe, and unacceptable care.
