Aja Asian & Teppenyaki Restaurant

We visited this restaurant 2 times during our stay in hotel, foods quality and foods variety was very good, drinks variety is good also. Jason and Tristan were very supportive and they explain menu items very well and we received very good services. All staff were extremely nice and friendly.

Although the tepaniaki is a supplement to the all-inclusive hotel menu, it's not fortunes and definitely worth it for the show alone, and you can still have a great few drinks of course. Miguel was our chef and culinary juggler for our 90-minute ish slot, which was about right. It's a small dining room off the main Aja dining room. Cosy enough to create the close up action you want....the food was great and featured a small California roll appetiser whilst waiting for the show to get under way. Defo worth a visit I'd say... As for Aja, we did visit there too so will touch on that in another review

Had a fantastic teppanyaki at the Aja Asian restaurant inside the Rixos. The giant prawns were prepared to perfection and the steak was juicy and delicious. Miguel entertained us with his show and we all had a good time. For pregnant women they adapt the menu and everyone leaves happy. The drinks service is attentive and very friendly. Highly recommend.

Waren Hotelgäste und durften im Rahmen des All inclusive Angebots ein 5 Gangmenü auswählen. Sehr freundliche Kellner die einem auch bei der Auswahl der Gänge mit Empfehlungen weitergeholfen haben. Essen, vor allem das Sushi, sehr lecker!

There’s some seriously good cuisine on offer at Aja - the tataki was fab as was the mango watermelon salad, we loved the stir fried noodles, the tartare was good as were the mains (even if the mains were a tad boring and not really in keeping with the Asian theme).

The best Asian food in town Sushi and salmon are the best, also Teppenyaki show is great Food is delicious and staff is doing great job Always there to assist Everything from the decor and till every small detail is amazing

Great service, but the light, please, I am not an owl or some night vision animal, it is soo dark. The rib eye was delicious and the service perfect!

Last Saturday weekend, we had Teppanyaki dinner. And I must say that our experience was awesome. All the staffs were very accommodating. Most especially to Marco. Not to mention, Monica and Jon. Thank you for the delectable dishes Chef Miguel cooked for us. Cocktails and desserts were served amazingly as well. Highly recommended restaurant. Will definitely come back if there will be another chance. Keep up the excellent service 😍👍🏻👌🏻💯

Jedzenie bardzo dobre, choć spodziewałem się bardziej azjatyckich dań niż stek, grilowana Kukurydza, czy pałki z kurczaka. Klimat trochę psuła duża ilość małych dzieci, które były głośne i płaczliwe. Pewnie dlatego, że wieczór to porą kiedy winny spać, a nie siedzieć w restauracji.

Ambiance was great. My humble opinion is to go there for drinks with friends and appetizers.

We there alone, since other guests didn’t show up. It was private show. Our first experience with open fire cooking, and it was amazing. I would like thanks all waiters for so warm services.

Was Denied from dinning at the hotel as an outside guest a year ago🤣. At the time I laughed and said good luck with that decision . Now they are offering 25% discount for nbd card holders for food and beverage at their Japanese restaurant. Guess you desperate now to get local customers 😂.I still won’t be visiting after that first impression. Many more lovely places in Saadiyat to go to. Plus the decor is super tacky.

On the 23rd of June, 2020, my friends and I booked two rooms which included breakfast, lunch and dinner packages. We had dinner on the same night, and during the next day we asked the reception if it would be okay to change our lunch package to a dinner package, to which they agreed. Knowing this, we decided to skip lunch and stay in the beach until evening, when we would have our dinner. During dinner time (Aja Asian) a staff member, Amir (From Turkey) told us that we had no right to the dinner package and that we should pay for that. We explained that we had received approval to switch our lunch package to dinner package. The guy had an extremely toxic and aggressive attitude. We were all shocked when he later threatened us with security, yet he is in the business of hospitality. He has no clue on how to talk politely, and how to deliver his message in a respectful manner. (By the way, we were all women, and he was acting extremely bossy and impolite towards us) Never have I experienced such behavior in any hotel around the world. I was so upset at this that I left without having dinner, while my friends stayed. After some time, a staff member came to my friends, who were 4, and told them that they could have dinner based on our package, but it was too late by then, I couldn't eat nor could my friends eat after what we had just witnessed. Also, we invited one of our outside friends, a fifth person, to join us for the dinner, who was willing to pay for her dinner since she wasn't included in our package. Then, a guy named Arun, head of security at the hotel, explicitly told us that our fifth friend "is not welcomed at the hotel". We were all shocked and decided to leave the place. They spoiled our time here as we never expected to receive such kind of treatment, especially from a five star hotel before. Also, I would like to mention that 2 weeks before this, we had a weekend stay with the same friends, but this time went to eat at the Italian restaurant. (L'Olivo) We felt so happy after leaving the house after many weeks of confinement, but again to our disappointment, the staff member Amir came to us and told us that we have been in the restaurant for 3 hours, implying that we should leave. What kind of treatment is this? Is there a rule in the hotel that limits the time one can stay in the restaurant? Also the restaurant was not even packed. This experience has been horrible and even until now I cannot believe what happened.

We’ve been trying to book this restaurant for a few days now. The hotel reception put us through but no one was picking up the phone. The is no proper website or even a menu. It is very disappointing! Not a standard you’d expect from the 5star hotel!
