I recently tried the Chicken Cheese Samosa at Akhtar’s Samosa, a well-known spot in Pune famous for its wide range of veg and non-veg samosas, including Veg Samosa, Chicken Kheema Samosa, Chicken Cheese Samosa, and Prawn Samosa. The Chicken Cheese Samosa was delicious when served fresh and hot. However, it tends to lose the appeal once packed and taken away, so it's best enjoyed on the spot. Parking can be a bit challenging, as there is no dedicated parking area; only limited parking is available at the rear of the premises. The outlet is also not particularly wheelchair accessible, which may be a consideration for some visitors.

We have been to Akhtar's samosa food joint to try the hype heard from my people 😃 A good samosa is pure happiness in a triangle. The outer layer should be golden, crisp, and flaky — the kind that gives a satisfying crunch with every bite. Inside, the filling is what makes or breaks it: spicy potatoes, a hint of peas, a touch of tangy masala and thats it😅 We have ordered corn cheese samosa, paneer samosa, veg samosa and chicken kheema samosa. Sometimes you get samosas that are too oily, soggy, or filled with bland potatoes — and that’s a real disappointment but here we found good samosa which were not too oily or soggy. We liked the chicken kheema samosa over other as rest was not that good in taste. Overall, you can try the samosas for tbe varieties they have. 🙂

Recently visited this place on 7th June 2026. Wall connected place with road and main camp area. There is no parking service available at this location, you could park only your 2 wheeler nearby. It’s located in a narrow street. Only one standing table is placed here for eating, that is outside of restaurant. There is not sitting facility available here. Samosa is fine only. To be very honest I didn’t fall for anything extra ordinary taste, so over hype.

I visited Akhtar’s Samosa in Pune after hearing people hype it up—and for once, the hype is justified. The samosas were hot, perfectly crisp, and packed with a well-spiced filling that didn’t taste greasy or bland. You can tell they focus on quality instead of cutting corners. I liked how balanced everything was: thin, crunchy outer layer, flavorful stuffing, and chutney that actually complements instead of overpowering. Service was quick, prices were reasonable, and the taste stayed consistent till the last bite. No fancy setup, no drama—just really good samosas done right. I’d definitely go back and would recommend it to anyone who actually cares about good street food.

I’ve heard about this place a lot and decided to give it a try. The place is mind blowing. They serve both veg and non veg samosa, these are patties samosa and not normal samosa the outer crust is of patties type. Do try their chicken and cheese chicken,u wont regret ur decision. The veg option is also good, lot of vegetarians love their veg samosa

Hidden in the busy lanes of Pune’s Camp area, Akhtar Samosas is one of those places that has built its reputation almost entirely through word of mouth. Known for putting a non-traditional spin on the humble samosa, this tiny, no-frills spot draws a steady crowd—especially for one item in particular. We went straight for their most talked-about offering: the Chicken Cheese Samosa. Freshly fried and served piping hot, the samosa had a crisp, flaky outer shell that shattered nicely with the first bite. Inside was a generous filling of spiced minced chicken and molten cheese, rich and indulgent without tipping into excess. The chicken was well-seasoned, the cheese added a creamy contrast, and together they created a filling that felt both comforting and satisfying. It’s definitely heavier than a classic potato samosa, but that’s part of its appeal. What worked especially well was the balance—the cheese didn’t overpower the chicken, and the spices kept everything from feeling flat. Paired with chutney, it made for a snack that was easy to enjoy yet memorable enough to understand why people keep coming back. The setup is simple and functional—this is clearly a grab-and-go kind of place rather than somewhere you linger. But when the food delivers this well, ambience hardly matters.

Visited Akhtar’s Samosa a few days back, and it was an absolute delight! Located right in the heart of Pune’s Camp area, this small shop is known for serving some of the tastiest samosas in town. I tried their chicken samosa, and it was simply delicious — perfectly crisp on the outside with a flavorful and well-spiced filling inside. They have a limited variety of samosas, but each one is full of taste and freshness, which makes it worth the visit. The place is clean, service is quick, and the aroma of freshly fried samosas instantly makes you hungry. If you’re ever around Camp, this is definitely a must-try spot for samosa lovers, especially their chicken samosa!

Introduction: Akhtar Samosa in Pune has earned a strong reputation for serving some of the best samosas in the city. Ambiance and Setting: A small shop in a stand-alone building. No sitting arrangement. Service: Though the place can get crowded, especially during peak hours, the service is fairly quick, and you can grab your snack on the go. Food: The samosas were crispy, delicious, and classic fillings, offering just the right mix of spices and seasoning. Their meat (chicken, chicken cheese, prawn mutton) samosas are also highly praised for their rich flavour and generous portions of filling. Pricing: Affordable and budget-friendly. Overall Experience: A great balance of quality, taste, affordability, and flavour. Had a satisfying experience. Recommendation: For anyone visiting Pune or looking to enjoy an affordable, tasty meat samosa, this place is a must-try!

If you think you’ve tried every kind of samosa out there, this place will prove you wrong. This place is entirely dedicated to samosas and the variety is honestly impressive. The samosas are freshly made, crispy on the outside, and generously filled. You can really taste the difference compared to typical snack shops. The menu is simple but focused, which works in its favor. Service is quick, and the staff is friendly and happy to recommend options if you’re unsure what to try. Seating might be limited depending on the location, so it’s more of a quick-bite kind of place rather than somewhere to linger for hours. But for what it offers, it absolutely delivers. If you’re a samosa lover—or just curious to try unique variations—this place is definitely worth a visit. 👍

We ordered beef samosa, corn cheese and chicken samosa. Corn cheese was 5/5, beef was good as well but chicken was a bit too heavy for me. Over all freshly made samosas priced at a low price. They also have seating arrangement available. They also have prawns, chicken cheese and a lot of variety of samosas.

Ek number Chicken samosas. I usually hate samosa as a snack/dish...but Akhtars Samosa changed my mind. Both their non veg samosas and veg samosas are really tasty. If you're going definitely try cheese chiken, cheese chicken tikka and cheese corn samosa🔥🤌 Rest..the only chicken samosa is a bit dry, the prawns and veg samosa is avg.

I visited Akhtar's Samosa after hearing a lot of good things, especially about their Chicken Cheese Samosa. The taste was okay, but honestly, it didn’t really match the hype. Also, the samosas were a bit small for the price. Overall, it was an average experience. It’s good to try once, but I expected a bit more.

Always crowded. And visited after watching a viral reel. But not as expected and too oily samosas. Oil drips and ruins the taste.

I tried their chicken samosa, but it was quite disappointing. It was filled mostly with chopped onions, and the onion flavor overpowered the chicken taste. The outlet itself is very small, and there’s no proper seating you have to buy and stand outside on the street to eat. They also serve buff samosas. I’m not sure if they maintain a separate kitchen for veg, chicken, and buff items, which could be a concern for some customers. If that’s something you’re particular about, you might want to avoid this place.

I have given 4 stars, no doubt they are good in services and location but what i have found that in prawns & beef samosa they use 60% onion feeling. For those customers who want to try prawns samosa and allergic from onion so there is no way. Taste was good I am happy with Cheese Chicken Samosa, quantity & quality of the samosa is so good as compare to what they have charged. Try to use less onion in filling or launch other samosa it will be helpful to target other customers as well.

I recently visited Akthar's Samosa, a quick-service restaurant offering a variety of samosas, and it was a pleasant experience. I tried the Chicken Tikka Samosa, Cheesy Chicken Samosa, and Corn and Cheese Samosa, and I must say the Chicken Tikka Samosa stood out as the most flavorful option. The taste was great, and it’s definitely the most recommended item on the menu. The other samosas were also tasty, but the Chicken Tikka one definitely stole the show. Each samosa is priced at ₹40, which is fair for the size and quality. The flavors are good, and if you're craving something quick and flavorful, it's worth a visit. The sitting area is quite small, so it’s not the best place for a long dining experience. I would recommend opting for takeaway to enjoy these delicious samosas at your convenience. Overall, Akthar's Samosa offers a satisfying and tasty snack, and I’d definitely visit again—especially for the Chicken Tikka Samosa!

Akhtar Samosa's is a hidden gem that's been serving some of the best chicken samosas in town. I've been blown away by the flavour and quality. The filling is so juicy and packed with spices, it's like a party in your mouth. And the crust? Perfectly crispy, not oily or anything. ₹40 for a piece is an absolute steal, trust me. The service is also top-notch - I mean, I've been served within minutes even on a crazy busy day. The crowd can get a bit much, but honestly, it's a testament to how good the food is. If you're in the area, do yourself a favour and grab a couple (or three, no judgement). You'll be back for more, guaranteed 😊.
