I visited the museum last year in 2024. Al Ain Palace Museum is a must-see for anyone interested in authentic Emirati culture, the life of Sheikh Zayed, and the pre-oil era, all at no cost. A rewarding and comprehensive experience, especially during a tour that includes Al Ain Oasis and Al Jahili Fort. If you plan a future visit after the renovations, be sure to check the official reopening date first.

Very interesting. The place is large and displays lots of settings relevant to ancient lifestyle within the region. It recreated (hosting all the original items) bedrooms (of kids, wifes, servants, etc), a pond, coffee rooms, gardens and so on. You can get in for free and you can tell the museum is very well curated. Bathrooms are clean and it's wheelchair accessible. One tip would be to make the ramp (for wheelchairs) leading to the bathroom a bit less steep

A good place to know more about the Emirate's culture and tradition. A big museum and many traditional things are displayed. The location is good and UAE architecture is also fantastic. A must visit place for tourists and children. Located in the middle of Al ain. Easily accessible area. Less.crowd and nicely we can spend our valuable time here with our family.

(2023.10.) 알나얀 왕가의 옛 거처입니다. 박물관이라기보다는 석유 개발 이전의 소박했던 왕가의 일상을 볼 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 마천루가 즐비한 지금의 아부다비 시내를 생각해 보면 여기 알아인에서 왕가가 거주했다고는 믿기지 않을 정도여서 신선한 느낌이 있었습니다. 제 기억이 맞다면 설명으로는 여기는 아랍에미레이트 초대 대통령이었던 자이드 빈 술탄 알나얀(아버지)의 거처였고 근처의 까스르 알무와이지는 2대 대통령 할리파 빈 자이드 빈 술탄 알나얀(아들)의 거처였다고 합니다. 직원 분들이 친절하고 내부의 고즈넉한 분위기도 좋습니다만 아부다비 왕실의 역사를 잘 모르거나 관심 없는 외국인들에게는 큰 인상을 주기 어렵습니다. 그래도 알 아인을 방문한다면 위치의 편리함 때문이라도 들러 보시기를 권합니다.

Aazing palace. Al Ain palace museum has historical importance since it was the palace of the royal family of Abu dhabi.. Whole premise well maintained. The old antiques, the furnitures, etc are carefully being treated and maintained. There are name board banners inside each buildings or rooms to help understanding the importance. Please visit this place and then we know how was the lifestyle of the royal family. The museum takes you back to many years back.

The very first home of the founder of UAE( Sheikh Zayed). Loved to see this palace in which historical and cultural history is fully preserved. With zero entry ticket and welcoming staff. Felt educated and motivated upon visiting. Recommended for the visit.

a nice museum that actually used to be the former home of the former ruler of the UAE. a beautiful home to walk through and lots of history to learn. we were greeted with gahwa and dates. the staff was very friendly in explaining things to us. there are restrooms available. unfortunately a majority of the museum is outdoors and the parts that are inside do not have any AC. the parking is outdoors and not shaded either. still worth a visit!

We really enjoyed our time here. It doesn’t take long to explore, an hour and a half at most. Entry: Free The palace museum is very clean and well kept. The staff were so polite. We were traveling with our cat, and we couldn’t just leave her in the car alone during the extreme hot weather and they allowed her to stay in the staff room while we visited ☺️💕

The seat and legacy of the Al Nahyan Family. The family tree, majlis , tents and lifestyle of the old stay at the palace.A must visit at Al Ain. Tons of history , brief and experience at the center. Best visiting hours are during the day before 11 if you like the sun and towards 5 pm till it clisby 7 pm. Please check timings before you trip.Keep hydrated if in the day.

Der Palast ist ein sehr schöner Ort zum Anschauen und lädt aufgrund seiner Ruhe zum Verweilen und Entspannen ein. Die Anlage ist gepflegt und es gibt viele Räume und Gärten zum Entdecken. Leider fehlen Erläuterungen zu den jeweiligen Orten. Gratis Wi-Fi sowie Kaffee und Datteln Definitiv ein Besuch wert

The Palace Museum in Al Ain is a popular one with classic art works that inform about traditional life of the ruling elite of Emiratis. The building is old but maintained and kept in good shape for tourist attraction. The various rooms and places in the palace are labeled and/or with information that helps tourists to know more about it. It's interesting to see that there's are rooms designated as school and quaranic education. I went around taking photos just as other tourists. You can have glimpse of H.H Sheik Zayed and his family's living style. This was quite an eye opener to know about the simplistic life style they had in those times. A great experience indeed.

An interesting wander around the old Palace gives an insight into how the Sheikh's family lived and hosted guests. There are some artifacts on show and the palace has a variety of rooms on display showing the way the royal rooms use to be. Excellent family portraits of the family going back over the generations. Free to park and enter, would have been good to see more personal items associated with this incredible family.

My first ever visit to Al Ain Palace Museum, the old residence of Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his family. The residence has been recently transformed into a museum for visitors. The residence reflects a life of simplicity and honor. It didn't seem as luxurious as I thought before entering it. I was really impressed by its simplicity, and the lasting development of the UAE by the late Shaikh Zayed, which continues to this day. Really a great leader. For public information, the museum is free to visit: no entry tickets or advance booking required.

It’s free for visiting. It’s really incredible because place is much better than more iconic places of UAE. It’s simple and natural, among of oasis. Good place to see how sheikh’s family lived.

A must see place if you are looking to know about the founding father of UAE, HH Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The palace is well maintained and takes us back in time. There are well preserved artefacts within the palace. One can spend an hour easily exploring and definitely worth a visit if you're in Al Ain.

It was lovely to see the place turned musuem ... beautiful culture and a legacy. When you enter they provide you meghdool dates with Arabic coffee . wonderful and tasty dates ....
