Mimarisi çok güzel bir cami . Kitâbesine ve kaynaklara göre 519 (1125) yılında Halife Emîr Ebû Ali el-Mansûr zamanında Vezir Me’mûn el-Batâihî tarafından yaptırılmıştır. İki sokağın kavşağında köşeyi dolduracak surette inşa edilen camiyi, 799’da (1396-97) Sultan Berkuk’un veziri Emîr Yelboğa b. Abdullah iç avluda şadırvan ve bir minare ilâve ederek tamir ettirmiş, ayrıca nakışları, mavi renk ve altın yaldızla boyatmıştır. Minare 1412’de bir daha yenilenmiş, cami ise Silâhdar Süleyman Ağa tarafından XIX. asır başlarında tekrar onarılmıştır.

جامع الأقمر هو أحد أقدم مساجد القاهرة الفاطمية، ويقع في شارع المعز لدين الله. نبذة مختصرة: • تاريخ الإنشاء: سنة 519هـ / 1125م • العصر: الدولة الفاطمية • المنشئ: الوزير المأمون البطائحي في عهد الخليفة الآمر بأحكام الله • سبب التسمية: يُرجَّح أن اسمه مشتق من القمر إشارةً إلى بياض حجارته ولمعانها أهم المميزات: • يُعد أول مسجد في مصر بواجهة حجرية مزخرفة بالكامل. • واجهته مائلة لتتوافق مع اتجاه القبلة رغم ضيق الشارع، وهو ابتكار معماري مهم. • زخارفه ونقوشه تحمل رموزًا شيعية فاطمية وآيات قرآنية. • مسجده صغير نسبيًا لكنه بالغ الأهمية من الناحية الفنية والتاريخية. يُعتبر جامع الأقمر شاهدًا بارزًا على تطور العمارة الإسلامية الفاطمية في القاهرة.

#مسجد_الأقمر كلف الخليفة الفاطمي الآمر بأحكام الله بإنشاء الجامع عام ١١٢٥م • يتألف المسجد من صحن أوسط مكشوف يحيط به أربعة أروقة للصلاة مغطاة بقباب ضحلة أكبرها رواق القبلة. • صمم المسجد لتتفق واجهته مع اتجاه الطريق وكذلك مراعاة إتجاه القبلة من الداخل. • قام الأمير يلبُغا السالمي بتجديده في عهد السلطان المملوكي برقوق في أواخر القرن الرابع عشر الميلادي • تم تجديد المسجد مرة أخرى في عهد محمد علي باشا على يد سليمان أغا السلحدار عام ١٨٢١م. • كما نجحت لجنة حفظ الآثار العربية أوائل القرن العشرين في إعادة بناء مئذنة المسجد بعد تعرضها للميل وإزالتها عام ١٤١٢م. #جولات_مكوكية

📌Aqmar=Ay gibi parlak anlamında 📌Fatımiler döneminden kalma. Yine avlulu küçük güzel bir cami. 📌Dış v iç mimarisindeki detaylar dikkat çekiyor.

مسجد الأقمر رائع ومريح رغم صغر حجمه يتكون من أربع أروقة للصلاة

Visited Al Moez Street 11 Nov 2022. The facade of this Mosque is beautiful with its intricate carvings. Unfortunately did not appear to be open nor was there any signage for visitors. The Al-Aqmar Mosque ( the moonlight mosque ) was built in 1125/6 AD by the Fatimid Vizier of al-Amir, al-Ma'mun al-Bata'ihi and was built on the main avenue of Fatimid Cairo at the time. This mosque was innovative for a couple of reasons. It was the first mosque to have an intricately carved facade plus the facade itself follows the alignment of the street. This is the first example of a ground plan being adjusted to the existing street plan. This would prove to become increasingly common in the coming centuries.

على الرغم من مساحته الصغيرة إلا انه مسجد جميل

مكان هادئ و مريح للصلاة. دخول أشعة الشمس ل صحن الجامع بيعطى روح و بهجة.

This is also another Historical Masjid in Cairo and is located at the Al-Muizz al Fatimi Street. It was built during the 1125 AD and was the neighborhood Masjid of the area. It is an important and exciting structure for architects and is still standing today representing the old Egyptian architectural designs.

Al Aqmar Mosque or literally "moonlit mosque" this name was given due its white stones that it was built with. it's an old fatimid Mosque in El Mo'ez St., old Cairo. It's located in the middle of the street. It was build around the year 1125. It was restored multiple times over the years. What makes this mosque unique, the decoration of it's facade and the design of the floor.

A Devine place with a lot of historical significance. It had a surreal feeling when we visited. It is one of the UNESCO heritage sights and it was very well restored and maintained. A must visit place when in Cairo and it is not less than a living open air museum.

It means Moonlight Mosque. It was built between 1125 and 1126 by the Fatimid vizier al-Mamun al-Bataihi. It is located in a place that was once a ceremonial center. It is said to be the first mosque with luxurious decorations on the entire facade.

جامع_الأقمر يقع جامع الأقمر بشارع المعز لدين الله، وأنشأه الخليفه الفاطمي الآمر بأحكام الله سنة 519ه/ 1125م، وقد تولي أمر البناء الوزير المأمون البطائحي، وتم تجديده فى عهد السلطان برقوق عام 799 هـ على يد الأمير يلبغا السالمى. تعد الواجهة الرئيسية للجامع أقدم واجهة حجرية باقية حتى الأن. ويظهر لأول مرة اسم على فى الواجهة.
