I ordered food from Al Arooz Mandhi through Zomato. My order included one half Mandhi and three pieces of Alfam chicken, but I received only the three Alfam chicken pieces. The Mandhi was missing.
The order was placed before 9:00 PM, and Zomato showed an expected delivery time of 9:30 PM. However, the food was delivered only at 10:15 PM. When we checked the order and found the item missing, it was already 10:30 PM, and we were all hungry after waiting for so long.
I called the restaurant to inform them about the missing item. Unfortunately, the staff member who answered the call behaved very unprofessionally. Instead of responding properly, he was joking, wasting time, and speaking in a very cheap and disrespectful manner. As a customer—especially as a woman—this behavior was completely unacceptable.
This issue is not about gender, but about basic respect and professionalism, especially at such a late hour when customers are waiting for food.
This is also not the first time I am facing issues with this restaurant. When ordering directly from the hotel, they usually deliver the correct quantity but take a long time. However, when ordering through Zomato or Swiggy, they often deliver faster but with less quantity or missing items. Due to time constraints, I chose Zomato for quicker delivery, but the experience was very disappointing.
