I recently disconnected my service with Al Fanar Gas, and the experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. During the disconnection process, the technician tagged our gas detector as “faulty,” even though it was clearly working perfectly. This is especially concerning because it had been checked multiple times before without any issues. It feels unjustified and inconsistent. Because of this claim, I was charged for the detector and my deposit is now being withheld. I have tried to raise this concern, but there has been no willingness to properly reassess the situation or provide a fair resolution. This kind of handling raises serious concerns about transparency and customer fairness. I expected a professional and honest process, especially during something as straightforward as a service disconnection. I strongly urge the company to review their inspection practices and customer service approach, as this experience has significantly impacted client trust.

Everything was fine until I cancelled the contract and requested a refund of my deposit. I submitted the request on 11 December, and to date I still haven’t received my deposit. Instead, I keep receiving template responses with postponements and no clear timeline.

Excellent service. The technician ( Amjad Faraz ) arrived on time, was very professional, and explained everything clearly in a way that was easy to understand. He provided helpful guidance, answered all questions patiently, and made sure everything was safe and in order. On top of that, he was friendly and respectful throughout the visit. A great experience overall and highly recommended.

Extremely disappointed with the security deposit refund process. I moved out on February 18th, and it has been nearly two months, but I still haven't received my security deposit. Even though I contacted the customer service center multiple times, they keep giving me the same vague answer that it’s under process. There is no transparency at all, and I have no idea if the refund is actually being handled. This is unacceptable service. I strongly urge Al Fanar Gas to process my refund immediately. Didn’t get deposit refund as well. Sent so many emails and called them too. Very unpleasant experience, need to be more professional. Also trying to reach out due to service and gas leakage, non of the public numbers are responding

Avoid as much as you can this company. I have been contacting them to get my deposit back for the last 2 months. I read many other reviews having the same problems about the deposit and they are all right. They don’t care about make things right and customer service. Robotic replies, always the same excuse and no sorting out the problem. I will follow up with legal actions because this is a total disgrace.

Very disappointing experience with Al FANAR Gas. It’s been almost two months since I started chasing them for my security deposit refund, and still no action has been taken. Their team keeps replying to my emails pretending that I can visit the office to collect the money, but nothing actually happens. To make things worse, one of their emails included suspicious links that looked like malware — which is extremely unprofessional and unsafe. ⚠️ Be careful when communicating with them or clicking any links they send. Totally unacceptable service and lack of accountability.

I am beyond disappointed and frustrated with this company’s complete lack of professionalism and customer care. After repeatedly following up for a refund, I received nothing but vague, robotic responses with no clear resolution. They deliberately wait for the refund period to expire and then refuse to take responsibility. This is not just poor service; it’s a blatant disregard for customer rights and basic fairness. What makes it worse is the total absence of accountability. No one takes ownership, and all I get are empty apologies with no action. They treat customers like inconveniences rather than valued clients. They don’t even have any place or standard worthy of a global city like Dubai. It’s embarrassing to see such practices in a city that prides itself on high standards and consumer protection. If you are considering dealing with them, think twice. You risk losing your time, money, and peace of mind. If you have a choise avoid at all costs.

Very disappointing experience with Al Fanar Gas. When they initially connected the gas, there was no inspection of the gas detector—something that should be standard for safety. Throughout the entire service period, there were no routine checks or follow-ups. Shockingly, they only inspected the device at the time of disconnection and conveniently claimed it was not working—clearly a tactic to deduct money from the deposit. This kind of practice is not only unprofessional but also raises serious concerns about customer safety and ethics. I would not recommend them based on this experience.

A KILLER COMPANY! They do not care about your life as long as they make money. They are providing you gas without checking alarms working or not. Then after a big leakage in the apartment, they are just making money from you with replacing regulators. Not even bother to call. They are telling you to pay for changing gas alarm which is NOT WORKING and when you rejected to pay, they are cutting off your gas because of safety. BUT THEY HAVE BEEN PROVIDING GAS OVER A YEAR WITHOUT ANY SAFETY! Not a single inspection in a year. NEVER PREFER THEM IF YOU LIKE TO LIVE YOUR LIFE!

😖 company, do not use their services. We used them for two years, and during that time, they never checked the sensors. Gas was coming intermittently, sometimes burning with a red flame. When we requested disconnection, no one showed up. After several hours, a technician arrived and charged 400 AED for a sensor replacement. The gas sensor wasn't working, and no one checked it. On top of that, we were blamed and had to pay. They added another 100 AED to the bill, so we ended up paying 600 AED for their negligence! The support service is terrible, they just drag money out of you and disgrace Dubai, with no service. This was the only company available for the house, and I couldn’t choose another one. Terrible company!

Worst provider and service, watch you bills carefully they add and estimate bills, they ask you to do the reading and save service money in your behalf, my mother is an old lady and she can’t take pix of meter reading and send it via mail or WhatsApp, they add extra to the monthly bills. When we asked for disconnection, they sent finial statement with additional disconnection fees( which we paid as well in the contract when 1st connected) it’s a rip off as long as it works. It’s a real and honest review based on living within Damac hills; keep eyes open on bills

Poor service from the meter reader. He insisted to take the money in cash but it didn’t show in my account. I called their customer service but no reply. I sent an email but returned as their email is no reply

The company requires an advance payment for disconnecting the unit for multi-tenants; since it is already disconnected, why should I pay again for both connecting and advanced disconnecting?
