It was the only restaurant that was opening prior to 5 pm on a Saturday afternoon. Food : The food was so good as expected. Service : Lovely Service from a forthcoming staff. Atmosphere : I loved the feel of sitting right on top of water.

I recently dined at this restaurant that offered a truly memorable experience. The ambiance was absolutely perfect, with a relaxing, coastal vibe that made the meal even more enjoyable. One of the highlights was savoring delicious food while listening to the soothing sound of waves crashing gently nearby—an ideal setting for a peaceful evening. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual outings and special occasions. Valet parking is available, adding to the convenience, and they accept both cash and card for payment. Overall, it was a delightful experience I’d gladly repeat.

Had an amazing dinner at Al Habib Restaurant, Do Darya Karachi Seaview, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The karahi was absolutely delicious, full of rich, authentic flavors. The bahari and beef kebabs were perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The service was excellent, with attentive and polite staff who made us feel very welcome. On top of that, the beachside atmosphere at Do Darya made the evening even more special. They have jumping castle for kids and kids playing area also electric tri cycles for free. All the food served coverd and at the end they provided warm lemon water for hand wipes/ cleaning. During dinner lots of seagulls were flying and enjoying the sea. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food with a beautiful view.

Disappointing Experience at Al Habib Restaurant - Do Darya I recently visited Al Habib Restaurant at Do Darya after a long time — almost 5 years. I remember how, back then, it was so crowded that we had to make reservations in advance. But this time, the place was nearly empty. Surprisingly, there were more staff members than customers, which immediately raised a red flag. The ambiance was just okay — clean but nothing special. However, the washroom was poorly maintained, lacked proper cleanliness, and didn’t even have tissues. For a place that labels itself as fine dining, this is unacceptable. The service was decent. Our server was polite and attentive, but when we asked for food recommendations, he vaguely said, “Sab kuch acha hai.” Not very helpful. We decided to try the following dishes: Mushroom Sauce Chicken Steak: Extremely disappointing. The chicken was dry and tough, the sauce lacked a creamy texture and had a grainy consistency, and the grilled vegetables were undercooked. The so-called mashed potatoes were literally just chunks of potato with cream poured on top — a joke, honestly. Badami Kabab: Another recommended item — served cold and tasted bland. I wouldn’t recommend it at all. Garlic Chicken with Rice: The chicken was average, but the white sauce tasted like garlic-infused water with salt. 🤢 Supreme Nachos, Corn Soup, and Special Tikka: These were also part of our order, but none stood out in terms of TASTE or quality. Lastly, I got the Makhni Handi packed as takeaway, and unfortunately, it was just as mediocre as the rest. Al Habib used to be one of the better options at Do Darya, but it seems like things have really gone downhill. In a location where only a few restaurants are left now, it’s sad to see the TASTE and quality drop this drastically. A humble request to the management: If the taste isn’t there, nothing else matters. Please work on improving your food taste quality. Best wishes for Al-Habib restaurant Do Darya.

Good Good Good Excellent Sevices, So Humbled Staff, treats their customers very respectfully and comes to ask (if everything's ok and if anything is required) again and again. Had advantage of low crowd during weekday, and staff fully focused on the guests. Food was also good and worthy for Price. Definetly i will recommend to try them for special occasions.

Talking about the environment, the palace is good, the servers are polite and well mannered, the place has potential. But the only thing that I would really take away is the food, just not what I had in mind. The taste is just not good enough, I have ordered steaks, Chinese, handi but unfortunately none of them would be quite as good as people think it ought to be. I would give the food a 6.5/10

As foreigners we were recommended this place and it was great. The prices were a bit higher but still very cheap for us; food and service was great in a nice atmosphere. We had typical Chicken Karahi which was delicious and served with naan. We also had Afghan beef on the grill which was very unique in taste. There was so much staff everywhere, they were clearly overly staffed so we had excellent service. We paid with credit card about 5000 rupees for two (13 GBP). PS: no WiFi there

Excellent experience as always. Months of December and January are particularly good for breakfast. Beautiful weather and migratory birds. Also, the only place open for breakfast on the strip. Highly recommended!!!

So this was Ramadan and as usual yearly Iftar Buffet was started so celebrated my brother's Birthday here. Overall really nice ambience with great decor. Iftaar was served separately followed by namaz (masjid inside the venue) and dinner. Their service was a plus point and so was the cleanliness Coming to the taste it was great as usual. As it was buffet so its difficult to name a few but most liked were Balochi fish, Chicken Shashilik with rice, Chicken Karahi, Chicken boti, Chicken Reshmi Kababs and Terragon Chicken. Dessert bar was also delicious and so was the tea section Overall highly recommended and must enjoy the perks of Ramadan by availing buffet here 👍😇

Food was really delicious we ordered balochi karhai in beef that was really fantastic.. but there were mosquitos there nd lack of fresh air despite of sitting in open area.. IDK the reason.. Alhumdolillah my experience was good

Overall a great experience, read a few negative reviews and was skeptical to visit the place and my experience was good overall. I ordered Mutton leg which was bit dry and chewy, only reason for not giving 5 stars on the review. Rest of the items were spot on. Ambience was great, its do darya at the end so the environment is going to be good.

Severe Food Poisoning After Breakfast Visit میں ال حبیب ریسٹورنٹ، دو دریا، کراچی میں اتوار کے ناشتے کے دوران پیش آنے والے ایک نہایت مایوس کن تجربے کو شیئر کرنا چاہتا ہوں۔ ناشتے کے بوفے سے کھانا کھانے کے بعد مجھے اور میرے بیٹے دونوں کو شدید فوڈ پوائزننگ ہو گئی، جس سے واضح ہوتا ہے کہ بوفے میں پیش کی جانے والی کچھ اشیاء تازہ نہیں تھیں یا مناسب حفظانِ صحت کے اصولوں کے مطابق تیار نہیں کی گئی تھیں۔ اس واقعے کے باعث ہمیں شدید جسمانی تکلیف اور دن بھر کی پریشانی کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔ فوڈ سیفٹی اور صفائی کسی بھی ریسٹورنٹ کی بنیادی ذمہ داری ہوتی ہے، خصوصاً ایسے معروف مقام پر واقع ریسٹورنٹ کی۔ بدقسمتی سے یہ تجربہ معیار پر پورا نہیں اترتا۔ اس تجربے کی بنیاد پر، میں اس ریسٹورنٹ کی سفارش نہیں کرتا، خاص طور پر ناشتے کے لیے۔ مجھے امید ہے کہ انتظامیہ اس معاملے کو سنجیدگی سے لے گی اور مستقبل میں اس طرح کے واقعات سے بچنے کے لیے مؤثر اقدامات کرے گی۔ I regret to share a highly unsatisfactory experience at Al Habib Restaurant, Do Darya, Karachi, during Sunday breakfast. After dining from the breakfast buffet, both my son and I experienced severe food poisoning. This strongly suggests that some of the food items served were not fresh or properly handled. The incident caused considerable physical discomfort and disrupted our entire day. Food safety and hygiene are fundamental responsibilities of any restaurant, particularly one operating in a well-known dining area like Do Darya. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet acceptable standards of quality and care. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this restaurant, especially for breakfast. I hope the management will take this matter seriously and improve food quality control to avoid similar incidents in the future.

It’s the first restaurant from sea view road. We tried their fries, soups, and chicken karahi. All were good. Service is fine and the ambiance is amazing specially at night. We got to feed white seagulls as well which was an ultimate experience. Recommended.

Excellent services and good food, full fry fish was tasty. I ordered mushroom steak , it was very tender but still lacks what we call steak in Genral terms.

Today visited Al Habib Restaurant Do Darya karachi 💕 take dinner with Buddies ,Rates are normal,food taste is good, ordered platter chicken and beef karahi and fish,pista ice cream ,podina shake but the taste of karahi is too good from other foods

We visited Al Habib (Do Darya) over the weekend and had a great experience. The food was delicious and served in generous portions, and the service was excellent. Special thanks to Mr. Sheeraz Ali for taking care of the customers with utmost respect and sincerity.

I visited your restaurant last night with my family and ordered fast food items including a Zinger, Beef Burger, and Club Sandwiches. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the food quality, it was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The beef burger I received was clearly stale. When I informed the staff and asked for a fresh one, they took it back but returned with the same burger after 10 minutes. The club sandwiches were also stale and served with undercooked eggs. To make matters worse, the burgers lacked any sauce, and the beef burger included a full fried egg, which felt completely out of place. When I questioned this, the staff claimed it was part of their "recipe" to add a chicken egg to a beef burger, something I found both confusing and unappetizing. I spent nearly Rs. 7,000 for just two burgers and two club sandwiches, and the quality did not match the price at all. I strongly advise others not to waste their money here.
