Al-Isra Mosque in Blaine is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places you can visit. From the moment you walk in, you feel a deep sense of calm — as if inner peace truly begins here. The recitation of the Qur’an by the imams is beautiful and heartfelt, bringing comfort and tranquility to the soul. The mosque is clean, well organized, and welcoming. You feel like you are among family and brothers in faith. It is a perfect place for prayer, reflection, and reconnecting with Allah away from the stress of daily life. I highly recommend visiting for anyone seeking spiritual comfort and peace of heart. May Allah bless everyone who supports and maintains this mosque.

Alhamdulillah — this masjid is a hidden gem. Masjid Al Israa is everything a house of worship should be: clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, and clearly well-loved by its community. The prayer area has soft, well-maintained carpets that make salah feel peaceful and focused. What really stood out to me was the row of comfortable leather couches along the back wall — a thoughtful touch that made me want to stay after salah for i’tikaf and some Qur’an. Not every masjid makes you feel that at home. Parking is plentiful, which is a blessing for those coming from across the city. One small suggestion: the wudu area could use a foot-rest or step support for those who use chairs or have limited mobility. A minor addition that would go a long way for many brothers. Overall, this is a masjid that truly invests in its worshippers — spiritually, physically, and in comfort. May Allah reward everyone who built and maintains it. Highly recommended. 🤲📖🕌

مسجد الاسراء هو بيت الله، أحب البقاع إلى الأرض، ومنارة الإيمان والهدى. ليس مكاناً لأداء الصلوات الخمس فحسب، بل هو مدرسة للأخلاق، ومحطة للسكينة، وواحة تبتعد فيها القلوب عن ضجيج الدنيا لتسمو في رحاب العبادة والتأمل.

تجربة سيئة جدا بالنسبة ل اول يوم رمضان أصوات عالية ومزعجة من المصليات وفي امراة صومالية أمام باب الدخول مكان إقامة الصلاة تتعامل في عنصرية مع المصليات البيض واولادهم وتهدد في اخراجهم خارج المسجد إذا لم يذهبو لغرفة منعزلة بعيده عن اجواء الصلاة الجماعي.

Feel terrible for writing such a review but I had to do it so management can take some action. I stopped there as a traveler to pray zuhr and asar as qasr salah. We got harassed by the patrons of the masjid for leaving the masjid after praying on our own since asar time was close. These people need to be taught some manners how to treat the travelers and what are the rights of travelers in Islam. Secondly, there was no place for women to make wudu and pray salah due to on going construction. We got permission from one of the patrons for women to do quick wudu in men’s area. Then the woman with us got harassed for using the bathroom. And when we asked where should women go to do wudu and pray, we got laughed at with “we kick out women when they come” Really! Is this how the guest of Allah are treated when they come to pray at his house. Something to think about for the management.

Never have to worry about finding a parking spot. There is plenty of space to park at. Both men and women musalla are big. The masjid is always clean and tied.

The masjid has a lot of space and parking. Its a welcoming place to worship if you are from the Midle East especially Iraq. The Sheikh lectures in Iraqi dialect intentionally (there is no way he couldn't speak classic Arabic),so other communities just pray and leave. Nobody wants to learn Iraqi dialect, unless you are from there( just the quranic Arabic). There is even a guy who sits at the back of the Masjid and screams Arabic at everything with impunity.

This mosque has constantly been participating in charities and events to erase any stereotypes surrounding the Muslims who cause trouble. Extremists are always given the cold shoulder, and patience is constantly emphasized upon in this mosque. What we need are more mosques like Al-Israa. In a time such as this, we would only benefit from seeing changes from other Islamic areas. Once more mosques become a part of the community, then perhaps we will see more positive change. This area also has a Church two miles away from it as well. I typically attend both buildings just to participate in any of their volunteer events. Regardless of your religion, they are always kind and understanding.
