I had one of the worst experiences ever at Al Mumayaz Vehicle Testing Center. My appointment was at 9:20 PM, and I arrived exactly at 9:01 PM, got my token, and waited until almost 10:00 PM to receive my car. When I politely asked the staff about the delay, I was told, “Just wait 10 minutes and sit quietly, you can’t do anything because your car is under inspection.”
When I finally received the result, I was shocked by the comment written:
“REMOVE FRONT BOTH SIDE FENDER COVER AND UNDER COVER FOR RE-CHECK.”
I’ve been renewing my car for three years in different centers without anyone ever mentioning something like this.
I called the RTA hotline, and they advised me to go back and speak to the RTA supervisor at the same center. When I did, the supervisor was extremely rude and unprofessional. His name is Rajith Puthiya Purayil and his ID NUMBER MZ70 . He refused to listen, interrupted me while I was talking, and said, “If you’re not happy, just call the call center and complain I can’t do anything for you.”
He even told me, “If you used to do it in Sharjah, then go to Sharjah.”
This is totally unacceptable behavior, especially from a supervisor representing RTA.
I have already filed a formal complaint with RTA Complaint Reference: 3281880.
I strongly do not recommend this center to anyone. The staff lack professionalism, and customer service is very poor.
