AL TAMR (Kolkata)

I have visited there with my family at 27 dec, 2025.. It was Awsome experience.. All foods taste were so yummy & unique.. I have tried here Mandi, which was very unique than Biryani.. Service & staff behavior was also good.. Specially thanks to Tanmay, who served & explained very well,all the orders we have booked there.. Perfect Muglai khana of perfect taste.. I want to revisit again, for another food experience.. Highly recommended 👍😊

It was an extremely delicious afternoon at Al Tamr, Park Street... The hospitality and guidance of Milan on their menu made our get together a memorable one... Though all the food items were all very tasty, we felt they look into the quality of mutton... Both in the starter and Yakhni Pulao, the pieces were very bony and had a lot of fat n skin... And one more thing which I personally felt, there was a slight smell(not rotten) to the mutton pieces... But would definitely visit them again for their Butter Garlic Prawns....

Tried there Mandi, and it was vv delicious. No compromise on the taste, but the quantity was a little less. Ambience is perfect and cozy. Would love to visit again for sure

Very well decorated, well maintained restaurant, food quality and quantity both are great. Taste and presentation are top notch, we tried their chicken Mandi and starters.

Went to their Park Street branch a few days ago and it was just amazing 💗 The ambience was top notch and the food was the best and the service was also to good. I would recommend everyone to visit this place.

Recently visited Al Tamr restaurant at Park street and was completely blown away by their food! If you would like to try out indo arabic food specially Mandi, Al faham chicken,Yakhni pulao , nihari You have to visit this place! Hands down the best mandi i have had anywhere! Also their Bhuna ghosht kebab Kabsa Garlic prawn Well it might sound fake but trust me there hardly any item which i can say was not good! Al Tamr Restaurant & Hospitality is already highly popular in howrah and finally their new outlet in park street is my favourite indo arabic restaurant in town! Finally found my next Iftar spot on Park Street. Al Tamr is officially open in Park Street Kolkata and it’s beautiful. Think delicious Mandis, Arabic spreads and even Chinese favorites, all served in private kabanas for that extra bit of privacy we all want during Ramzan. Recommended Items : Zafrani Murg Tikka, Shahi Chicken Khabsa, Nawabi Mix Mandi, Kashmiri Naan, Bhuna Gosht, Crispy Harissa and Mutton, Butter Fried Fish. Overall I had a great experience.

From a great Mandi to an excellent Nalli Nihari, they serve it all at Al Tamr Restaurant, Ripon Street. I have had mandi at several places but the rice has mostly been disappointing as it lacks flavours and can't be eaten by itself. However, the Mandi at Al Tamr especially the rice was so good that you can gulp it down just by itself. Each of the items were equally good. If you are looking for some good food then this is the place to be! #FoodZpah

Al Tamr is truly a gem in the heart of Park Street! The food here is exceptional — rich in taste, generous in quantity, and top-notch in quality. The Chinese and Mughlai items are among the best in town, each dish prepared with great care and bursting with flavor. A must-visit for anyone who loves good food and warm hospitality!

From the moment I walked in, I knew this place was going to be special but I didn’t expect every single detail to be this perfect. The ambience strikes an ideal balance between warm and elegant, with soft lighting, comfortable seating, and a calm buzz that makes you feel instantly at home. The staff deserves a special mention — attentive without hovering, knowledgeable without being pushy, and genuinely passionate about the food they serve. And the food… absolutely exceptional. Every dish arrived beautifully plated, fresh, and bursting with flavour. The textures were perfectly balanced, the seasoning was exactly right, and the ingredients tasted premium. You can tell the chef cares about craft — nothing felt rushed or generic. From the first bite to the last, it was a memorable experience. What really surprised me was the consistency. Usually you get one or two standout items, but here every dish felt like a signature dish. Even the smallest details — the dips, the sides, the desserts — were thoughtfully done. Overall, this is the kind of restaurant you want to bring people to when you want to impress. A place worth returning to again and again.

Perfect ambience, prompt service extremely cordial behavior. Reasonable pricing, delicious food , both quality and quantity wise Perfect value for money. Bored with Chinese, Mughlai. Italian. This is a Perfect place for a change of taste. Would love to once again. 11 on Ten. Must visit atleast once.

The best Mandi in town without a doubt..!! AL TAMR has now opened its new outlet in Park Street and is serving some lip smacking food. Be it the Pulao, Nihari, Kebabs or the showstopper - The Mandi, everything is top tier. A must visit for all the foodies out there.

Had dinner here recently and it was a really good Arabic food experience in Kolkata. The ambience was warm and Middle Eastern-inspired, perfect for a relaxed dinner. We ordered mandi, shawarma, and hummus, and everything tasted fresh and flavourful. The mandi rice was aromatic and the meat was tender and well-cooked. Portions were generous, easily enough for sharing. Service was decent and the staff were polite, though it can get a bit crowded during peak dinner hours. Pricing is reasonable considering the quantity and quality. Overall, a great place if you're craving authentic Arabic food in Kolkata. Would definitely visit again, especially with friends or family.

I was thoroughly impressed with the ambience, which created a truly pleasant dining atmosphere, and the food was delicious—every dish was prepared perfectly. However, the real highlight was the outstanding service we received. Specifically, I want to give a massive shoutout to Milon, who attended to our table. Milon was attentive, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure our evening was special and seamless. Staff like Milon are the reason we'll be coming back. Very nice food nice service

The Mix Mandi at this new spot was a standout—its perfect spice blend elevated every non-veg item, from the generous chicken salan and juicy kebabs to fresh pomfret and tender mutton. Desserts were decadent, and the chutneys/dips added fantastic flavor punches. Top-notch service and a lively family-friendly atmosphere made it memorable. Highly recommend for groups craving authentic vibes—worth every penny!
