Al Wakrah Public Beach

I had a really great experience at Al Wakrah Public Beach. The place is clean, peaceful, and very well maintained. I felt very relaxed here and enjoyed spending quality time by the sea. The beach is spacious, so it never feels crowded, and the fresh air and sea breeze make the atmosphere amazing. Parking is very convenient with a large parking area close to the beach, which makes visiting easy even with family. There are proper public toilets available separately for men and women, and they are clean and well organized. This is a big plus for families and long visits. The area is also great for walking and cycling. There is enough open space to enjoy a calm walk, ride a bicycle, or just sit and enjoy the view. It’s a perfect place for evening relaxation, watching the sunset, or spending a peaceful weekend. Overall, this is one of the best public beaches in Al Wakrah. Very comfortable, family-friendly, and well managed. I felt really good here and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended.

Very spacious and peaceful beach. It's a good place to gather with friends and family. We had a nice time walking along the rocks and looking at all the seashells. There are a lot of canopies for shade and they have lights as well if you stay past sun down.

If weather is comfortable. Wakrah Public Beach is very good place to enjoy.

The best spot for walking or running, offering a stunning sunrise view, ample parking, and a nearby Teatime. It features numerous clean restrooms, tables, and gazebos for convenience.

Open beach with free hut/gazebo structures. There is no free barbecue grill or cooking area here. Public toilets are available here. There is a good walking, jogging and running track available They are allowing beach goers to bring in there own barbecue grill to cook. The huts are limited and it’s first come-first take basis. Some part of the beach is muddy and rocky, you need to go little outward to the open sea to get the clean water. Parking is huge for beach comer’s.

It’s well‑located: right next to the Souq Al Wakrah, some cafés/restaurants nearby, plus a promenade that adds to the ambience. 👎 What could be better Swimming is limited at low tide, and the seabed near the water can be rocky or have sharp stones, so water shoes are a good idea. Lighting after sunset is somewhat weak in parts; some walkways, benches or restroom access can feel less safe or less convenient at night. Seating and shade are somewhat limited in certain sections; if it’s busy, you’ll want to arrive earlier. Also, trash can be an issue—though cleanup seems regular. ✅ Final verdict If you’re after a peaceful, casual beach day with family or friends—sun, sand, fresh air—Al Wakrah Public Beach is a strong choice. It won’t beat luxury resort beaches, but for what it is, it delivers a pleasant, low‑stress seaside outing. Bring shade, maybe your own shade if you need it, and go during the morning or early evening for the best experience.

This is a pleasant beech with limited waves …good for a bath swimming and beech exploration…it has less crowd at night …you can see antique boats on the shore …it also have some umbrella resting places which makes it interesting…the best time to explore this beech would be 5 am to 7 am and 4 pm to 6 pm …it has a lot of beech restaurants with fish delicacies if you are all set for a leaisurely vibe

It's a beautiful beach located in al wakra open for public. The beach is very clean and well maintained. We didn't find any shops or cafes nearby. But there are buildings dedicated for that so hopefully it will be open in the near future. The beach has well built bathrooms where you have separate changing rooms, separate shower and separate toilets which is very convenient.

Road to the beach is not a tar road , so you might want to have a second thought on driving a sedan.. Quite a good beach side to side a chill have a relaxing time out with friends .... Facilities of parking and sun shades and changing rooms are available. No restaurants or cafes located at this place. The nearest for restaurants will be 2kms away Alwakra souq and family beach

Nice 👍 place, clean n all ... Wash room etc . Also electricity is on pole And there is no problem, there are bins kept at some distance to put the burning coals, the garbage chute is also in place. There is also a facility to sit, if there are less chairs then more people.

It's a very clean and well maintained beach. Not good for swimming when low tide. Otherwise it's a good place to have fun.

Sandy beach and awesome for swimming. The view is beautiful from top of the hill area of souq al wakrah. Must visit place to visit and enjoy swimming there.

It is my second visit to The Al Wakrah Beach. I love to come here even it is Far from the Cities. A best place to visit and my suggestion could be better to commute on Friday.

It’s Peaceful, not recommended to go with kids. However, best place to hangout with friends and walk around the beach.
