The Albert Hall Museum, located in Jaipur’s Ram Niwas Garden, is Rajasthan's oldest museum and a prime example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. It looks amazing at night time. It’s very beautiful architectural work. We visited at night time. It is open from morning 9 am to night 8:30pm. Ticket for adult is 102 and for student is 52. So many antique pieces of pots, coins, shields, guns, monuments and so many things to look and know about history is very interesting. It’s very well maintained and everything is very well preserved. They also have mummy preserved inside that yes you heard it right actual MUMMY. Must visit when in Jaipur one of the tourists attraction spot. We saw alot of tourists roaming outside to click pictures of albert museum. People say this museum showcases a vast collection of artifacts from various regions, including paintings, sculptures, jewelry, carpets, and an Egyptian mummy. They highlight the beautiful architecture, especially when illuminated at night, and the rich historical and cultural experience. They also like the affordable ticket price and the well-maintained exhibits.

Visiting Albert Hall Museum is totally worth it and feels like one of those places that slowly grows on you as you spend time there. From the railway station, the auto ride was quite smooth and cost around ₹150, which felt reasonable given the location and traffic. Right opposite the museum, the park adds a very calm and pleasant vibe. It’s a nice place to pause, walk around, or just sit and take in the surroundings before entering the museum. Outside the museum, you’ll find plenty of local food stalls selling kulfi, pani puri, bhel puri, fruit chaat, and other quick bites. These small stalls really add to the local Jaipur feel and make the whole experience more lively. Once inside, there’s a small eatery that honestly surprised me. The food is tasty, simple, and very affordable, which is great if you want a quick break without stepping out again. Coming to the museum itself — it’s genuinely amazing. One of the main attractions is the MUMMY, that you get to see which is real. The exhibits beautifully showcase Rajasthani culture, history, art, and lifestyle, and you can easily spend a good amount of time just exploring and understanding the stories behind them. As evening sets in, the place becomes even more magical. The lighting, the architecture, and the overall atmosphere together create stunning views. Albert Hall Museum isn’t just a museum visit — it’s a complete Jaipur experience.

Do visit when in Jaipur. Such an amazing place and with such wonderful things inside. There are guides there who speak more than one language fluently, if you are someone who isn’t native to English, it’s very helpful. I saw a real mummy, swords, masks, Quran, and also vests of the ancestors. Evening is lit with lights and worth waiting for a few clicks. Stay there a while, inside, and read if you are interested in history. Very informative.

I visited Albert Hall Museum Jaipur during the rainy time, and the experience felt even more special. The rain made the surroundings fresh, and the museum looked very beautiful against the cloudy sky. The architecture stands out more in this weather, and the whole place had a calm and peaceful vibe. Inside, the collections were interesting and well presented, though some areas were a bit crowded. Overall, visiting Albert Hall during rain added a different charm to the experience. Definitely worth visiting, especially if you enjoy history and photography.

Not a v huge building, but so many items in display. Interesting to know this was a museum opened in 1880s If you are a tourist and short of time, you can skip this place, especially with the high ticket rate. It is nice to see it lit up at night.

A visit to Jaipur is truly incomplete without stopping at the Albert Hall Museum. Located in the heart of Ram Niwas Garden, it’s not just the oldest museum in Rajasthan, but also one of its most stunning architectural landmarks. The Building & Architecture: Even before you step inside, the Indo-Saracenic architecture will leave you awestruck. The intricate stone ornamentation and the majestic domes are a photographer’s dream. Pro tip: The exterior view is iconic, especially with the hundreds of pigeons that gather at the entrance in the morning. The Collection: Inside, the museum is surprisingly well-curated and diverse. It’s organized into several galleries featuring: The Egyptian Mummy: Housed in a dedicated basement gallery, this is a rare 2,300-year-old mummy that is the highlight for most visitors. Art & Craft: An incredible collection of blue pottery, ivory carvings, and exquisite metalwork that showcases the rich heritage of Rajasthan. Armor & Coinage: History buffs will love the weaponry and the vast collection of ancient coins spanning different dynasties. Textiles: A fascinating look into traditional attire and folklore. The Night View: If you have the time, I highly recommend visiting twice: once during the day to explore the galleries and once at night. In the evening, the entire building is illuminated with beautiful, color-changing lights. It creates a magical, vibrant atmosphere that is perfect for a relaxing stroll. Tickets: If you are visiting other sites like Amer Fort or Hawa Mahal, buy the Composite Ticket here; it’s much more economical and saves time at other queues. Timing: Give yourself at least 2-3 hours to see the exhibits properly. Accessibility: It’s centrally located and very easy to reach via e-rickshaw or taxi from any part of the Pink City. A truly enriching experience that beautifully preserves the soul of Rajasthan’s history!

Historic place. Awesome atmosphere. Must visit place. Ticket price is reasonable. Much to learn. Preferable to take a local but licensed guide for better understanding of the place. Much to explore, gain knowledge. Architecture and sculpture at its peak. Cleanliness and hygiene properly maintained. Staff behaviour is decent. Ambience is top notch. Well maintained. Paid parking. Must recommended. Beware of fraudsters.

I couldn't find a water dispenser here, but the overall experience was amazing. There are many things to discover! Some exhibits may not feel entirely authentic, but it is educational at least. I love this place!

Overall, it’s a nice place with many ancient artifacts. I paid only 156 rupees (USD 1.72) because I got the student price, which is very cheap. Just a small warning: outside, a group of musicians may ask you to follow them to watch them sing or do puppet shows. They may say things like “special for you” or “because we are friends.” They usually expect a donation. They asked for 100 rupees, but I gave only 50. If you’re okay with donating, that’s fine.
