Pleasant and helpful staff added to a great experience. A beautiful theatre, comfortable and spacious seats (Dress Circle C12 & C13) with an excellent view made our visit even better. A comfortable temperature with various enrty and exit points meant less queuing. Good communication prior to our visit enabled the purchase of reasonably priced interval drinks, which we found easily. Oh, and the play itself, Shadowlands was amazing, with powerful performances from Hugh Bonneville and Maggie Siff.

Went too see the new Sinatra production. Excellent. But, the last row of the Stalls where I was was very hot and stuffy. So, take plenty of bottled water. You will soon be singing along and doing it your way...

Even from the upper levels the seats give a clear view of the full stage and the acoustics are excellent, though legroom can feel a little tight. Front-of-house staff were very kind and the space is easy to navigate. The bars on the upper floors are fairly small with a standard range of drinks and snacks at okay prices, though little room to stand. The women’s toilets in particular are quite compact and can get a bit cramped. Visited for Shadowlands, which was an excellent production.

Went to see a fabulous tribute act tonight. The theatre is lovely and the access staff, Martha and Mia was so friendly and helpful. I was in Box E which is a wheelchair box and had a side view but still great seats. The only downside was one of the security doormen. When my carer went to let him know we was waiting with other wheelchair users for someone to let us in the access entrance. The security man Richard said " I be there when I am good and ready" Which i thought was a bit rude and unwarranted. This was our 1st visit and our 1st point of contact at the venue. The other security man who came to do a bag check was friendly and nice and all other staff. They also have an accessible toilet which is a nice size and easy to use. Will definitely be looking to visit again soon. Thanks to the accessible team for making our night more special.

Comfortable seating in a well-kept theatre with modern facilities in the small areas theatres have for toilets. Seats comfortable and spacious enough. Performance of Shadowlands involved excellent actors with an important story about people, faith and suffering with a good script that, with the acting, brought forth emotion and relevant humour. Most enjoyable.

I went to see Shadowlands with Hugh Boneville and Maggie Siff. The play is about C. S. Lewis the famius author of the chronicles of Narnia. I loved the books so I went to see this play and it was simply beautiful! I's much more than just Narnia, they portrayed grief and death so beautifully! All of the actors were amazing, even if you don't know anything about Lewis, the play explains really well everything and makes you want to learn even more about him and his work!!

The cast and the performance was great but I don’t know how the seating was approved for fire safety. We were all cramped together. My husband is 6ft. His knees could barely fit. His shoulders were wider than the seats. It felt like we were seated on children’s chairs. It was SO steep. It made me have vertigo. I felt nauseous through out the show. We left at halftime. It’s not safe. There were no railings. A lady fell midway thru the show. Luckily the people below caught her fall.

Great theatre, new toilets which make a visit so much nicer. Seating is tight however in the stalls. We watched Elf and really enjoyed the shows. Note the stage is high so you will be looking up if in the front rows of the stalls. Staff were lovely, and it was easy to enter and exit the main theatre with just a few steps.

We came and saw Elf the Musical and it was absolutely magical. The loft on the rows is very steep, so there was effectively no blockage to our view of the performance. Our seats were front row of the Grand Circle (D14/15), the website says “no legroom, no armrests”, let me say - there is no armrest and the chairs are narrow, but there is HUGE legroom (I’m 178cm). Other than some technical difficulties that meant it was delayed 20 minutes everything else was awesome.

Nice theatre. The seats are narrow so it's pretty cosy! The ladies loos are at the back of the stalls and of the main foyer We saw Shadowlands which was phenomenal.

Really nice theatre. A little smaller than some but all the better for it, so that all the seats have a great view. Perfectly air conditioned on a hot summer's day. It helps to sing this theatre's praises, no pun intended, when the show is excellent.

We went here to go watch Elf the Musical on Tuesday evening. The play was really good and the venue was also gorgeous on the inside. I must admit at that the incline of the ceiling is quite steep - we only see half the screen, but could see all actors. So, if booking seats on a tier, and towards the back, do keep this in mind.

This 5star rating is purely for the magical, amazing performance I experienced of Tina Turner the Musical on 3rd September!! I can easily say it was the best theatre show I have ever watched. It was such a deep, powerful and emotional experience; it surpassed my expectations! I truly regret not seeing it sooner (now that it’s ending on 13th September 😭) I would happily go again and again and recommend anyone else who hasn’t seen it, to hurry to get the same experience before it’s gone forever! However the seating I chose (Dress Circle Row A) had very tight leg room for my mum and the person sitting next to me (who had arthritis), some of the stage was also obstructed, resulted in the whole row having to lean forward to see particular parts of the show, so be mindful when selecting your seats. Some staff was quite rigid and unfriendly, but the majority were great! Also the snack prices were quite steep but to expected for the area. The ending of the show was so electric, contagious and genuine feel good tingly vibes, with everyone singing and vibing together! I’m also delighted that I got to experience Fleur East as Tina, she done a PHENOMENAL job singing and bringing Tina’s story to life!!

Shadowlands is such a wonderful play! Hugh Bonneville is perfectly cast as the legendary writer C.S. Lewis. He holds the stage effortlessly weaving his story. Unfortunately Maggie Siff does not match Hugh’s performance. She lacked the brash NYC energy that’s integral for the relationship between them to work. It’s the heart of this play - the clash of cultures (British and American) and therefore you don’t care for her character. Good supporting cast although the young actor playing Maggie’s son had trouble with his American accent. The teaching fraternity including Warnie were excellent !.

We recently watched Elf at the Aldwych - all very well organised, as with all London theatres if you want Merch then it will be a tad overpriced - but still a great experience!! We loved it!

We love the theatre! This is a beautiful theatre in the heart of London, which is itself a beautiful city! We watched ELF, which was a heartwarming musical for this time of year! What a great show to watch at Xmas! Looking forward to our next show at this theatre. 😀
