Hotel Alexander

Although I’m a Bonvoy member, this was one of my most complete and successful Bonvoy experiences ever. I truly felt welcomed as a Bonvoy member—through the upgrades, the recognition, and the warm treatment. This hotel made me feel my membership truly mattered, and I hope all other Bonvoy properties will meet this same standard. The hotel—Alexander by Bonvoy—offered an outstanding experience. The staff were incredibly welcoming and professional. Before arrival, I received a room upgrade, and upon arrival, they upgraded me again to a suite. The room was excellent—spacious, with a large heated bathroom and cozy heating. The service was impeccable—from restaurant to housekeeping. Thoughtful touches like chocolates by the bed, fruit plates, and daily tea service made it special. The location is perfect—right on the pedestrian street near shops, Republic Square, and the Cascade. I highly recommend this hotel!

We had a great stay at the Hotel Alexander. A kind welcome from the people on reception, very cosy beds and private spa and pool (it was just us!). Our highlight was breakfast, which was beautifully presented, delicious and served in a warm and calm restaurant floating above Yerevan. We will only stay here when we return.

Our stay at The Alexander, a Luxury Collection Hotel was, without exaggeration, one of the finest hotel experiences we have ever had within the luxury segment. First of all, the location is exceptional. The hotel is situated right in the heart of Yerevan, housed in a beautiful historic building thoughtfully complemented by a modern architectural extension. This unique blend of heritage and contemporary design makes the hotel feel both authentic and refined. All major attractions, restaurants, and cultural landmarks are within easy walking distance, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. From the very moment you step inside, the hotel envelops you in an atmosphere of calm, elegance, and genuine hospitality. The staff are outstandingly well trained — polite, attentive, and highly professional at every level. From the reception team to the housekeeping staff and the waitstaff in the dining area, every interaction felt seamless and thoughtful. Our room was absolutely extraordinary. It was the largest room in the hotel, spacious, impeccably designed, and felt completely brand new. The interior combines luxury with subtle cultural details, reflected in the décor and design elements, creating a warm and sophisticated ambiance. The room had everything needed for an exceptionally comfortable stay, and more — it truly felt like a private sanctuary in the middle of the city. What stood out most throughout our stay was the constant sense of being genuinely cared for. The personal assistant was always available to help with luggage, bookings, tours, and any requests, making the entire experience effortless and stress-free. A very special mention must go to the breakfast experience. The dining area, located on the 12th floor, offers breathtaking panoramic views over Yerevan. Every morning we enjoyed a stunning sunrise over the city while having breakfast. The atmosphere, background music, impeccable service, and attention to detail made breakfast feel like a refined ritual rather than just a meal. Finally, the quality of the food deserves its own praise. The kitchen is exceptional — both in flavor and presentation. Every dish was beautifully executed, and it is undoubtedly one of those places you want to return to again and again, even beyond your stay. This hotel is a true gem — elegant, welcoming, and flawlessly managed. A heartfelt recommendation to anyone seeking a luxurious, memorable, and deeply comfortable stay in Yerevan.

Wonderful hotel with very friendly service, good breakfast and a great pool area. And some nice little touches like warm chamomille tea in a thermos in the evening in the room. Definitely recommend staying here :)

Понравилось - Вкусный завтрак - Приятное кафе при отеле - Лаунж зона и бассейн - Высокие потолки в номере и управление освещением - Расположение топ Не понравилось - В ванной неудобная дверь в душ и надо таскать гели с раковину в душевую кабину, по умолчанию там ничего не лежит - Долго несли часть завтрака - Вид из окна был со второго этажа прямо на улицу, не очень комфортно - Цена завышена, учитывая, что на выходных было бы еще дороже

This is not luxury or premium. This is Potemkin village Mariott. Good for Instagram but not sustainable. The place is successfully faking it. You can land there if you need a bed. Nothing more.

Wonderful stay at the Hotel Alexander. Elegant rooms and a calm, luxurious atmosphere. Special shout-out to the restaurant and bar staff, as well as the concierge who were all all incredibly warm, attentive, and helpful. Would gladly stay here again.

Lovely room, gracious staff, amazing breakfast (including a pastry making demonstration!), immaculately clean and well appointed. We had a problem with our room the first night, but your staff corrected it while we were out for the evening and moved us to a different room the next day (thank you, Ana, at the front desk!). We loved our stay at Hotel Alexander!

This is a great hotel, amazing service, from the receptionists, to the concierge, and the restaurants staff, the bartenders, and the entire crew. Everyone will go beyond to help and accommodate. We truly appreciate all the efforts that made our stay remarkable. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the turnover service is top notch. There is a coffee machine and tea in the rooms which is always a bonus and an updated smart tv. The location is central, walking distance to the shopping streets, the Opera, and republic square. Well done and keep it up.

Great experience of luxury hotel. Rooms: 9/10 Noise cancellation: 9/10 Location: 10/10 Personnel: 10/10 Fitness center (incl. swimming pool, jakuzzi, sauna): 10/10 Bathroom kits: 10/10 (very thoughtful, we have found everything we needed and even more). Technology: 5/10. Reason: we have expected some up-to-date Smart TV in the room with a price of 600 dollars per night, taking into account it was deluxe. TV was smart, but old LG, where you can find some outdated applications and YouTube. Hotels advertisement over YouTube video and over the videos in the browser are made in such a way, that you literally cannot watch anything except advertisement. Unfortunately there was no specialist, who could help with it or tell if it was normal TV behaviour, as it was weekend. The locker in the fitness center was defective. We had to wait for a master-repairer, who helped to open it (even the personnel near the swimming pool could not help with their badge, that’s why master was called).

I had a truly wonderful stay at Hotel Alexander in Armenia! From the moment we landed, everything was taken care of — the pickup service from and to the airport was smooth, professional, and set the tone for an amazing trip. A special thank you to Areg and Ruben from the guest relations team — they went above and beyond to make our anniversary celebration memorable and arranged amazing tours that made our trip even more special. The restaurant team was warm and welcoming, and the front desk staff, especially Mr. Hayk, were incredibly helpful and kind. The room service team also deserves praise — they were attentive, detailed, and kept our room spotless throughout our stay. You can tell the staff here really care about every little detail. The hotel itself is clean, elegant, and located perfectly in the heart of Yerevan. If you’re looking for a luxurious yet friendly place to stay, I highly recommend Hotel Alexander. Thank you for a beautiful experience!

This hotel is massively overpriced and absolutely not worth the stay for how much it costs. I stayed here for an entire week in May when it was priced at €800 a night, and the service was extremely disappointing. There was very little follow-up to my questions or needs, and one employee even expressed outright hostility. I was also not allowed to add a friend to my reservation, even though I was there to spend time with him. This meant I couldn’t use the facilities (pool, gym, etc) because he wasn’t allowed in. I’ll definitely not stay here on my next visit to Yerevan.

Ever thought your life was too good to be true? Don’t worry, there’s a cure for this called the Alexander hotel Yerevan. One night here and you’ll wonder what crime you committed in a past life to be treated by such rude, and arrogant staff, in what is a 3 star hotel trying to punch well above its weight. And if you think being part of the Marriott elite brigade will help in your hour of need, oh no dear reader, think again. Once corporate collects their partner fee, job done and you’re flying solo. Perhaps this explains why some of the old guard are selling up and getting out whilst they can. The Alexander delights with rude arrogant staff, broken doors, dirty floors, closed facilities, misplaced hire car and that was after waiting an hour past the advertised check in time because …..they only start preparing a room once you arrive. But wait, there’s an upside! Complimentary stale cookies and a manager who makes Pinocchio look like a flat faced Persian cat. No doubt there'll be the usual diatribe response, promising better, premium and reassuring exceptional on your next visit. And there’s the con. Offer mistreated clients everything but the kitchen sink, knowing they can’t accept given the high cost to return to the country, thereby ‘appearing’ willing and holier than all, but in reality orchestrating nothing more than a street hustle. Marriott shares ride high, but with such pirate behaviour below decks, how long until this ship is bid bon voyage from investors portfolios?

Probably the best hotel in Yerevan - second time staying in this hotel and everything is well deserving of their 5star rating, location, service, staff, cleanliness etc. the only downside is that their hotel’s restaurant is italian - so if you want to taste any local food you ll have to visit restaurants in the area.

Amazing hotel and friendly staff excellent service. I love the small details like bringing local tea at night with chocolate bites with good night wishes. Breakfast staff are amazing and so friendly. Location is perfect with walking distance to many shops, restaurants and even touristic attractions.

Simply excellent. Having stayed at many hotels in Yerevan, The Alexander is in a league of its own and rivals and 5 star hotel around the world. From the minute you walk into the lobby of the hotel you will already know the quality that awaits you. The staff are highly professional. The rooms are very comfortable with beautiful finishes. The bathroom was large and well appointed will all the amenities one would except of a 5 star hotel. The breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend the cafe on the ground floor as well. Looking forward to staying at The Alexander when next in Yerevan.

Персонал предельно учтивый и профессиональный, мгновенно готовы помочь по любому запросу. Советую провести там хоть одну ночь, чтобы посетить их завтраки-это что-то сказочное! С бассейна и веранды ресторана на верхнем этаже открывается чудесный вид на город и на величественный Арарат в хорошую ясную погоду.
