YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW Experienced YESTERDAY, I opt to send money to Gcash instead of bank as the Cashier explained that it will take only minutes for the recipient to receive the fund. I split the remittance into 2 so there will be no problem with the limit. 1 transaction was received 2 hours after. Then I follow up TODAY for the 2nd transaction only to learn that it will be received TOMORROW as it will be sent through a different channel. I was so shocked and disappointed. Clearly, customer care at Al Fardan Exchange is very bad. The guy who catered me failed to explain further before finalizing the transaction. Instead the other staff explained only next day when clearly there is nothing to do but wait. I feel that the staff who did my remittance request treated me as an idiot. He could have explained to me before finalizing the transaction.I could have split the transaction into 3 instead of waiting more than 48hours of supposedly in minutes only. Sorry, but this exchange is not recommendable as they greatly failed in customer care. Staff should not just work for the sake of the salary. Personal customer care should have been excellent as this is what sets them apart and different to other bank app or online remittance channel. Even if there is a long que of customers, excellent customer care service should not be ignored as competition in remittance service is very tough as there are more convenient ways to send money.
