Excellent location, ambience is great. The food quality and quantity are superb. To my surprise, I had to go to the Men’s washroom. The condition was pathetic. Water was not coming properly from taps and the toilets were not at all clean The management has to take into consideration this part too.

A great spot for Arabic and Malabar cuisine with a spacious dining area and ample parking. The food is tasty, especially the grilled and Arabic dishes, and the ambience is family-friendly.

We came here with high expectations because of the hype, but it turned out to be disappointing. Disappointing experience at Ali Baba & 41 Dishes, Kuttanellur. Food quality was below expectations. Ordered Chicken Roast, but what was served felt more like chicken in a tomato curry rather than a proper roast. The taste and preparation were disappointing. The biryani was also not up to the mark and lacked the flavor and quality expected. Overall, the food did not justify the expectations.

We ordered Beef curry and porotta... Beef curry was full of liver and fat and they gave the same thing again after informing this inspite of the high prices. Washroom was not clean too.

Avoid this restaurant at any cost…!! If you want to hate Mandi the rest of your life, this is the place. The bland, unflavoured, senseless Mandi I have ever had. It came with Alfahm which was also below average. They said Alfahm comes with different options and we chose cheesy one. Dont fall for it, its just melted cheese on top of a bland Alfahm. The rice felt old and tasteless. If they cant serve a good mandi, I am pretty sure how the rest of the food will be. Not going to visit again.

Worst dining experience – 1/5. Not recommended at all. The service was extremely unprofessional. When we asked for hot water, one waiter refused saying it wasn’t his table. Our assigned waiter then told us to wait until food arrived. Even after explaining it was urgent, he first gave normal water and got irritated when we asked again for hot water. We ordered 3 beef biriyanis and one chicken 65. The biriyani looked like old, reheated rice—not fresh at all. The beef pieces were mostly fat. Although they gave a replacement piece, the staff’s attitude remained rude and unwelcoming. Chicken 65 was not worthy at all—very disappointing in taste and quality. The lime juice was terrible—just bitter water with sugar, no proper lemon flavor. We didn’t even drink it. Overall, poor service, bad attitude, and unsatisfactory food quality. Rating: 1/5 – Definitely not recommended.

Alibaba & 41 Dishes near Marathakara, Highway is a popular dining spot offering a wide range of Arabic and Indian dishes. The location is convenient for travellers, with easy access and sufficient parking space. The restaurant has a clean, welcoming interior with comfortable seating suitable for families and groups. The Arabic dishes, stand out for their flavour and freshness. Indian items are well-prepared too, though the taste and portion size can vary slightly during rush hours. Service is polite but could be quicker when the restaurant is busy. Prices are reasonable for the quality and ambience. Overall, it’s a good option near the highway if you’re looking for tasty food, a clean setting, and a relaxed dining experience. Wash area is outside the main building and not neat as dining area.

The staff were careless and rude—refusing simple requests and showing zero concern even after explaining urgency. We ordered three beef biriyanis and one Chicken 65. The biriyani appeared to be made from old, reheated rice and was far from fresh. Most of the beef pieces were just fat. Although they replaced one piece, the staff’s attitude remained rude and unwelcoming throughout. The lime juice was equally bad—just sugary, bitter water with hardly any lemon flavor. Don't Weaste your Time and money Came here with high expectations because of the hype, but it was a very disappointing experience. We ordered Chicken Roast and Biryani. The Chicken Roast itself was not up to the mark and felt more like chicken in a tomato-based curry than an actual roast. The biryani was also below average. What made the experience worse was finding a fly in the Chicken Roast, which raised serious concerns about hygiene and food handling. For a place with so much hype, this was a major letdown. Visited alibaba yesterday with the hype. Food quantity and quality is questionable. Staff services are very good. Also, the atmosphere and ambience is below average as these type of restaurants should be improving this basic things. Mexican platter 3/10. Hummus chicken is good 7.5/10.

Alibaba & 41 Dishes had us excited for a Sunday 8 PM visit… but what a letdown. No grilled items, no porotta, and only a handful of dishes left.. basically forcing us to order whatever was available. When we asked , the reason given was “cooking gas issues" which honestly didn’t explain the missing grilled items.. Management might want to consider a slight rebrand: “Alibaba & 4 Dishes” would’ve felt more accurate today..!!

My recent visit to Alibaba & 41 Dishes 'n Bab Arabia in Kuttanellur, Thrissur, around 12:45 PM was underwhelming. The food quality was average. The AC wasn't cool enough, making the space uncomfortably warm during peak lunch hours, which added to the frustration. Service was a major letdown; despite arriving after noon, many menu items weren't ready, forcing limited choices with long delays. Over price for this quantity of food.

Alibaba & 41 Dishes 'n Bab Arabia, is one of my favorite chains, I have been to a few different branches and it's usually a good experience. This branch is very spacious and there is plenty of car parking. The wash areas were clean. The mintlime was excellent, the Dragon prawns were okay, maybe a bit overpriced for the quantity and size of the prawns. The Chicken and Sweetcorn soup was good. Now here is where things were below par. We ordered the Beef Kapama, this is usually delecious. Normally the rice is very tasty as is the beef. Its usually served with a small fire burning underneath. I have attached photos of what I received here along with what I got from another branch where the food was good. If you look at what I was served here it looks like the wait staff thought it was a cushion and sat on it before bringing it to the table. The rice here was not tasty. AFTER paying my bill I asked what happened and they said the regular chef was not there that day. I am not sure if that was an excuse, but in my opinion don't serve sub standard stuff. If the item is not available that day fine, don't serve stuff which is not upto standard. Another failure, is what they served as mayonaise, looked and tasted horrible compared to what was served in other branches, I am not sure whether they are trying to save money by using this but it tasted horrible. Also don't serve starters along with the main course. As always this was my experience and YMMV.

The food was very average, and the service made the experience worse. We waited over 30 minutes. While ordering, we were told that porotta was unavailable and only naan was being served. However, we later saw porotta being delivered to other customers, which was frustrating and felt dishonest. They brought food even without giving us plates which we had to ask. The staff member wearing a tie, grey shirt, and black trousers was also extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction.

Very bad experience. Ordered French fries, coffee and sweet corn chicken soup. The fries and coffee were good. However the chicken soup was very very bad. Had raw smell all over it and despite complaining they didn't rectify it.

Very bad experience from your side. 1.Biriyani served without dish, later give me. After few 2.Dirty dishes, 3.2pm Most of the menu is NA 4.Poor quantity as well. I will never visit again, disgusting 🙏

This place doesn't even deserve a star. The food was just okay. We ordered for something they gave us something. When we inquired and requested for a change they said it was over and accused us of lying about the order. The worst experience plus the stench from the table was very bad. It seems that alibaba didn't train the staff's on how to behave with customers. Very worst behaviour. The thing is if you can't provide good food or good service what is even the point of running a restaurant. I would recommend going here.

Horrible service and zero hygiene. We waited an hour for food that never came. The menus were filthy and covered in spills. An absolute waste of time and a health concern. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone

I initially requested chicken biryani, but since it was unavailable, I opted for beef biryani. Unfortunately, after waiting for 25 minutes, there was no update on my order. Upon inquiry, I was informed that there was no rice available. This is the second time I have encountered issues with this restaurant, despite giving it another chance. The experience was disappointing.
