Alice Conference

We recently had the pleasure of hosting our Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) consultation workshop at Alice Conference in Bakhundole, Lalitpur, and it was an experience well worth sharing. From the moment we arrived, Alice Conference impressed us with its warm hospitality and well-maintained facilities. The venue is thoughtfully set up for professional events, with a spacious hall, reliable multimedia and sound systems, and comfortable seating arrangements that made the day-long consultation both productive and comfortable for all participants. The food and refreshments were a delightful highlight. True to Alice's reputation, the catering was excellent, fresh, flavorful, and served with genuine care. It's the kind of hospitality that keeps participants energized and engaged throughout the day. Overall, Alice Conference proved to be an ideal venue for a professional consultation of this nature. The combination of a well-equipped space, attentive staff, and quality food made our RPL workshop a very good experience. We look forward to returning for future events and would gladly recommend Alice Conference to organizations looking for a reliable and welcoming venue in Lalitpur.

The ambiemce and food were literaly good.

Good atmosphere, decent food, service was not up to par. Had experienced better services in other event venues. They really lack the servers to help the guests.

Food is average, we tried thakali Chicken set which was 650 which seems a bit over priced and it wasn't as good we expected. Other food items are also a bit expensive with average taste. Service and atmosphere is great.

Good food, great service and great space. Great to go with colleagues and friends as well as family. The view from the top is great too.

Really nice place. The place was really good. The ambiance of this place is fantastic. You have various seating options from rooms to terrace to rooftop. The service is also great. The staffs are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere is lovely. The best thing from here is the view of Kathmandu Valley. You can get 360 degree view of Kathmandu Valley from this place. The food is also great. I really liked the place.

Went their for my birthday. They have got a huge space, must say. Food was delicious and service was prompt too. Also please quit serving soft drinks from large bottles served in 250ml glasses as the gas runs out and it tastes bland. I know you guys did that. I want fresh 250ml bottled coke served in the glasses if you are charging that much. Also please install handles in your smoking zone entry doors, almost got stuck outside that day. Overall, a good experience. It was my 2nd visit there and I'd visit again.

I'm sad to say that I have had the worst experience in this place. The interiors and the ambience in this place is nice like all Alice Restaurants and Receptions but the service is horrible. From the sales staff to the operation staff, they are absolutely not bothered about the clients in any aspect. The event we had there was went horribly wrong. The sound system and the projector didn't work properly and there is no proper technician to help out. There is one person who is the technician/ waiter/ manager/ everything else. He didn't seem to know how to handle the sound system well and when I told him to call the manager, he laughed and didn't show his face again. I had also informed the sales manager during the even that the sound system is not working properly and she didn't seem to care and said that "it is what it is". Since it was a wedding dinner, we were really left embarrassed in front of our guests, mostly who all travelled from outside Nepal to attend the wedding. They offered no apology even when the payment was being made a few days later. I would never ever suggest anyone to book this venue and I have heard similar complaints from a lot of my people I know who have done events there. Hope they improve but I would NEVER NEVER NEVER have an event at this place again nor would suggest anyone else to do so.

Excellent venue for conference and meeting ..

This place has comparatively good decor but that is it. Doing a party here would be a mistake, because they clearly stated after the event that - they only bring out 5 rounds of snacks. Knowing that it isn’t enough. My guests felt the inadequacy of this place and so did I.

Very nice spot to sit with friends and family. You can have a very beautiful view of Kathmandu; Dharahara tower, and high buildings. Interior designing is very greenery and there are multiple options, areas to sit. You may need to book the seats in advance in weekends as the place is pretty occupied.

Never Recommend Alice Pulchowk I used to go this restaurant. I went to this restaurant few days ago after few months. Worst food I ever had. They used to have good food before but don't know what happened to their quality.

Just returned from there. It was my second visit. We found service staff very attentive, courteous which I think matters than any other aspect. Overall I enjoyed. I love the greenish colored sauce, which they put name to that sauce.

One more nice rooftop restaurant in Bakhundole area ..

Liked chicken Sizzler and Momo. It took so long for food to be ready, so order before is highly recommended if you don't have enough time.

The food of Alice Receptions was pretty good, and the staff super friendly. For our small engagement party of around 170 people, getting both the halls was perfect. There was enough space to move around and comfortably sit and socialize. The highlights from our menu had to be Chicken Wanton, Fried Fish, Mushroom Chilly. The highlights from the Dinner menu were Naan, Daal, Mattar Panner and the desserts - Galebi. The only thing that holds me from giving them a 5 star is the fact that it was all windows were closed up with AC blasting which made the places very stuffy and gave me and some of our guests a headache.

I felt scammed when we received a double order of kanchemba and a double order of Mustang aalu! The duck was average and the portions were too small! Visited 20+ times already, so felt sad this time.
