My daughter was in PG (Play Group) and studied at Alpha School for one year. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We received a complaint that a teacher had slapped and even pulled my daughter's hair. When we requested an investigation, the school management informed us that they had expelled the teacher. However, we received the same complaint 2-3 more times, and no serious action was taken. We also faced repeated issues with homework. Class teacher Ruqaiya was unaware that homework was noted in the diary, but no related copies were in the bag. We raised this complaint 4-5 times, but nothing changed. During the annual function, her class teacher, Ruqaiya, treated her poorly. She pulled my daughter out from the stage in a bad manner, and we, as parents, were shocked to see her behavior. It was humiliating and heartbreaking to witness this. When certificates were being distributed, my daughter stood beside the stage, eagerly waiting for her name to be called. Heartbreakingly, her name was never called, and they moved on to the next class. Even the students who were absent received recognition, but my daughter was left out. It’s our duty as parents to take our children’s complaints seriously. However, it seems that the teachers here take it personally, leading to a toxic environment. My daughter used to wake up excited to go to school every day. But after these incidents, she started refusing to go due to her class teacher's behavior. My daughter is an active, practical, and positive child, but the teacher's behavior tried to ruin her confidence and enthusiasm. It is disheartening to see a teacher break a child’s spirit instead of nurturing their growth. The management is quite fine, but before admitting your children to this school, make sure the teacher is compassionate and professional enough not to take things personally or treat your child unfairly. There is an urgent need for improvement to eliminate favoritism and create a positive learning environment. At this crucial stage, children need encouragement, confidence-building, and a safe space to learn. Sadly, Alpha School failed in these aspects.
