Amalfi Mediterranean Kitchen

Très belle adresse à Masaki pour une soirée posée : cadre chaleureux, déco soignée, service aux petits soins. Gros coup de cœur pour les plats cuits dans les meules de parmesan. Parfait pour un date ou un dîner entre amis. Un peu cher pour Dar, mais l’ambiance et la qualité font passer la pilule. Merci à Fiona !

Slightly underwhelming experience at Amalfi. The decor and ambiance is really nice, however our table was not clean. Service was a bit slow as well. The food was alright, but again left us wanting more. Food did not come with any side of salad or greens. Just the steak and fries. The steaks were cooked well, and the pepper sauce was also good. Positive note was the mocktail and cafe latte. Those were delicious. Maybe we might give other dishes a try and might have a better experience next time.

We ordered their blue cheese salad and the chicken Alfredo and both were very good. They served bruchetta as an appetizer for free which was also very good! And watching the chef make the alfredo pasta was a fun experience.

Visited during the holiday season, and the Christmas ambience was absolutely stunning—it instantly set the perfect festive mood for a special night out. The highlight of the evening was the Chicken Alfredo, prepared by a private chef Emmanuel who worked his magic with massive Parmesan wheel right at the table. It was a true "dinner and a show" experience! The pasta was incredibly rich and, for those who love a decadent meal, it was wonderfully creamy. We also ordered the Beef Lasagna, which was equally impressive. It was savory, well-layered, and cooked to perfection. This gem delivers on every front. Can’t wait to come back!

Прекрасный ресторан, вкусно готовят, продуманное меню и большие порции. Великолепный греческий салат и паста с курицей! Готовили при нас, повар все рассказывал подробно! На столике у него помимо сковороды, настоящая головка сыра пармезан. Наивкуснейший! Это было что-то. Мы с мужем все делили пополам, потому что очень большие порции. А десерт был восхитительный - брауни неприлично большого размера с шариком ванильного мороженого! Это просто восторг , а не ресторан! И сейчас там деток кормят бесплатно, а меню детское из 12-15 блюд! Рекомендуем! Очень вкусно и великолепный персонал!

I had a terrible experience, so we ordered pork ribs, I expected so much better for the price, we basically got the hard cartilage of the ribs with very little meat, I tried explaining to the lady but she basically insinuated that we do not know how pork ribs should look like.. On the bright side the beef ribs were tender and the schnitzel was okay...

I went for Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinner with family and friends. A perfect spot to celebrate. The live Chicken Pasta was a delight. So yummy. Lamb shank was great on Christmas Day, but the second time around the meat was not cooked well so it was difficult to eat. Pasta was delicious both the times. I tried the risotto but wasn’t so good. Slow roasted chicken was delicious. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I ordered Long Island iced tea as my cocktail and it was great. 😊

Visited the place for lunch and had Pork ribs and Rib eye on the rock. The experience was great and the service was good. I was impressed with the extensive list of cocktails and for the fact that they mention the liquor brand used in the cocktails. Superb place for meals

Very nice place for eating, they come and make your pasta at your table if you want to. Very good meat and tasty pizza too. And waiters are always looking out for your needs.

Very good service , food presentation is amazing. Taste was good it feel that they use very good ingredients. Don't expect to Mediterranean cosign It is not ! There are some dishes that are Mediterranean but some aren't. I will say it's a mix cosign They have pasta pizza stake.... Not on the cheap side but good return for the money. The Cheesecake was the best I eat so far in Dar es Salaam.

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We ordered Amalfi brûlée, seafood pizza and lasagna. Only the lasagna had taste to it but everything else was really mehh and on the expensive side. Visited day time and there were a lot of flies Second visit- improvement from first by far. Keep it up. Theres some few misses but more wins for sure

The first meal I had was a ravioli with butternut squash and cashews in cream sauce and it was amazing. Then I had the couscous salad, the French onion soup, and Amalfi brulee all on different occasions. Everything was amazing! This has to be by far the best place in Dar. Their level of service is bar none. Their staff is consistently kind, courteous, and knowledgeable, including the manager. They are the epitome of excellent service with style and class and they do this consistently because everyone there cares about your experience from the moment you step into their doors until you leave, ensuring you enjoyed your experience. They are consistent and every dish I've had they knocked it out the park! Thank you to the staff and management, you are truly appreciate!

The place it self is very nice and the staff is super polite! The food on the other hand was not so good. We've had cheesy garlic bread, Italian chicken salad, lasagna and Amalfi brulé. Cheesy garlic bread was fine. Italian chicken salad not quite. The chicken was fully covered in barbacue sauce, which is a no go for me, and then dipped in sesame seeds which were not roasted. The mix of vegetables they used were just not adding up. And for the dressing they used simply sweet&sour sauce which didn't compliment the dish. The overall taste of the dish was sweet. We didn't like it. The lasagna was pretty decent but two days later I ordered it for a delivery and it was nothing like that night. It was very dry and not tasty at all. Amalfi brulé was good. I have to say the portions are huge and the price is very reasonable for that amount of food, but the quality and the taste of the food is questionable. It's a shame that the food didn't live up to our expectations 'cause the place has such a good vibe. It's relaxing just being there, listening to chill music and having some good wine. Hopefully the food will improve. Cheers!

It's a beautiful restaurant with really good service but I guess I'm just not an Italian food person 🤷🏾‍♀️. I had one of their pasta dishes. Maybe try the pizza if you aren't a fan of Italian past like me.

Pleasant ambiance ,lovely dinner Very friendly staffs, delicious meal we enjoyed our mock-tails, I was stunned that the bill was nearly 150k Tzsh. Just be prepared.

They have a really fun play area for kids. The indoor play area needs more toys and activities. They also have people to look after your kids and they’re good at it. Overall it’s a nice place, the inside seating area by the bar is very cosy and they have good pizza 🍕

How can you pretend to be a chef serving basic side dishes (french fries, mashed potatoes, rice or steam veggies) and not being able to prepare a sauce (BBQ sauce is found in any supermarket). Tuna carpaccio was still frozen...horrible !! Lamb legs not tasty at all... It's a real shame regarding the price paid. (Am a resident in Dar es Salaam)
