Hotel Amanda - Rooms & Banquet

Hotel Amanda is in a prime location in lucknow, just a few minutes from multiple local tourist attractions by taxi. The rooms were well maintained and of high quality, with plenty of hot water for a shower , and great room service. The complimentary breakfast was delicious each morning and you can order great food at anytime there. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anybody from east to west if you’re looking for a place to stay in lucknow. My freind Haroiom, who works there, provided the best service and took care of me whenever I needed! Just like most of the staff they are all great people

Very disappointing experience. The lift and air conditioner were not working, which caused a lot of inconvenience during our stay. What was even more disappointing was that at the time of checkout, the staff questioned me about why I had posted a review instead of focusing on resolving the issues. Such behavior is unprofessional and shows a lack of respect for customer feedback. I expected much better service and hospitality. Would not recommend.

The worst hotel they give entry based upon religion if a boy is from majority religion and a girl is from a minority they will give entry otherwise they'll make you cancel your booking without refunds the worst hotel in a proshe location.

Stayed with parents for a night, in Jan , it was very cold and there was no arrangement for warming the room, etc blanket was given for parents after a lot of resistance, that too stinking blanket, no warm water in morning, the breakfast menu was very poor, no warm food, poor quality food, unhygienic layout, broken tiles, door handle, extremely loud and rude staff, shouting till late in the night, overall below average hotel. Not recommended at all.

Very pleasant staff, nice spacious clean rooms with hot water. Can be noisy in the streets with dogs barking. Great breakfast selection

I stayed there for 2days on October 2023 with my family (7Adults 1child). I was really surprised with their quality of services and hospitality. It is a great hotel to stay. Hotel staff very cooperative. Pros: 1. Good location 2. Good price 3. Great Service 4. Good Food 5. Nice room and hotel 6. Overall great experience Cons: 1. Bed is not comfortable to sleep for 2adults and 1child (Room no 101). 2. Food prices are little higher side. (2 omelet charged Rs. 250 😄). Lastly I highly recommend this hotel from my personal experience. I will definitely book this hotel again for my next trip to Lucknow.

The staff was rude to my sister during breakfast, which left a negative impression. The rooms were just average, nothing special. The location is quite secluded, making it inconvenient to access. Additionally, the place didn’t seem to attract a large number of customers. Overall, it was an average stay.

I stayed 2nd time in this hotel. 1st stay was good and liked that hence decided to stay 2nd time with my elderly parents (both 70+). After paying the high paid terrif of the room we entered the room and settled. It was dec end , cold . After some time, the receptionist called me and told to come down since there is some emergency. I went down. It was after 9 pm now. He told me to shift to a near by property as they have got some one else to give this room. He said he is requesting but it was similar to forcing me to vacant and move to a near by property with my elderly parents in winter of dec end. Can u believe this ? coz there was no other room available for that special ppl in that property. I had no way except totally rejecting it when I felt they are forcing me and not trying to understand. They totally forgot the hospitality industry rules, first come first served. So be careful before doing booking and also after checking in this hotel.

We booked rooms in Amanda hotel for our guests who were attending a wedding in the family. The staff of the hotel and even the General Manager are careless and don’t take responsibility of their actions. They do not clarify on the communication and later they play with the ambiguity created in the communication. Because of bad communication of the hotel staff, one of our families had to move to another hotel at the middle of the night. They also charged us Rs 10,000 extra because they overbooked our rooms and later put the blame on us. It was very disappointing to deal with them and they lacked accountability and professionalism.

Best quality, best location and good staff

Reception bad. Filthy hotel, not fit for stay, allotted rooms given to some other guests, number of guests found staying in allotted rooms. It should be avoided. Breakfast bad and filthy. They avoid guests to have breakfast, so they delay it beyond 0830 AM.

I have never stayed at a worse hotel than this. I travel frequently and hotels on average are fine. This one i suggest you not to ever book. It was unclean, i slept for a night and had pimples on my face despite never ever having them in these 25 years of my life. Staff is rude and greedy for money. Anyway, we ordered 6boiled eggs for three people and they came cold after 40 mins with disgusting tea. They charged us 180rs just for 6 eggs. 120for coffee. Room was unclean too. Never ever stay here.

Don't go for the ratings, the hotel was having mice everywhere even in the kitchen, even the service is pathetic, expect a response after 30 minutes atleast. They shifted us to the other property which was nearby without informing us that the property was sold out for next day and then suddenly next day morning they started asking us to leave and go back to that noise ridden property. The staff was well behaved and courteous but the property is now where justifies the price they are asking for it, also the food was also not good

Had a ceremony at the place with Banquet and rooms booked for a day. - Some or the other minor issues were faced with every room.(e.g. Cleanliness, no towel in some rooms, no toiletries in most rooms, no tubs...etc) -Need to have a clear communication with the management about how to have things arranged else last minute rush will spoil it. -Food served at the buffet and room service was very good. -Decoration and arrangements at the banquet was very good.

Cozy, clean and well maintained rooms. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was a bit average, other than that... a great place for a short stay. There's also, a black lab in the welcoming team, which makes the Amanda experience a tad bit more wholesome! 😁

Average hotel with average rooms and poor service, if you are staying for long then you will be asked every alternate day for money, not like others where you can pay at the time of check out, they will ask you everyday in morning that you will be staying or you are checking out, they don't care if you are sleeping or what they will call you in the morning for everything. Reception staff was rude specially Tarun and one more staff named Sunny came to my room asking for money when I didn't picked up the call because I was having little fever and I was sleeping. House keeping staff is poorest, they don't clean properly, they don't change blanket and pillow cover regularly, they have a mouth so big that if you ask them for these basic things they will say ki 'sir abhi 3 din pehle hi to change kiya tha'. Beds have bugs, my body was itching after sleeping on it. Room service is poor, expect a waiting period of 20-25 minutes even after asking just for water and when the staff comes they will stare at you and the room in a very bad way specially when you are with a female. Very bad experience.

A budget hotel with good facility nice staff. Clean and hygenic room and delicious food. The chef here also cooks any particular food on demand. If u want a good hotel in 2K range for two persons. It can be one of the place. Food is tasty. But has no parking facility and the guard also sits inside in hotel at nights so parking can be a risk. Most beneficial point is that it is just a minute walk from Sahara Hospital

I don't know why some people are giving 1-2-3 rating when everything was good. Quite expensive but facility and room were too good. King size bed was awesome.. I experienced a good facility and co-operative but don't book this hotel through OYO.

Hi all, This a decent hotel. Nothing extravagant. I had actually booked twin beds (two single beds) room. I would suggest not to book these ones because they are scary. The fan when switched on makes so much noise that I felt it would fall on our heads any minute. The AC is also equally loud and scary. The sheets were not clean. Dusty tables. So we shifted to the double bed room which was more silent and cleaner. The facilities here are just the needful ones. A fan, an (really old) AC and a small flat screen TV. The bathroom is clean and decently big. Although we have to ask for towels, doormat, etc. They have a restaurant called 'Garlics' which we didn't get an opportunity to try. The staff are a polite bunch and very helpful. The location is peaceful and decent. Lots of restaurants around. All in all, it was an ok-wala experience.

Rooms were literally broken, AC was noising whole night, breakfast not even had milk cornflakes....... Lift was too small sized.
