Villa Amber by Lohono Stays

The Owner was very rude in conveying the Rules of Villa to one of our female member in the group which is a BIG Red Flag ⛳️. If you want to stay at a dharamshala then pick this villa there are 100s of rules for not having fun at the Villa here are to name a few. - Only playing music softly all day and NO Music after 10:00. (If you are paying 50k per night you want a luxury stay not rules like a boarding school) - No Hookah anywhere on the Property even not allowed on the outside. ( Again a buzz killer for a Luxury stay) - Not even foot massage allowed at this Villa ( This is the most pathetic rule if you are on a vacation you want to relax , enjoy and experience luxury ) - No Singers allowed in this Villa ( Just how stupid of a rule is this ** We had a friend in the group who plays guitar even he was not allowed to play or sing on the property) - We had to book another Villa just with 2 hrs of stay at this Villa without any refund as we were so fed up with the rules in just 2 hrs. We didn’t care even if we lost our money of the full booking and we booked another Villa and moved in 2 hrs which was the biggest inconvenience. Overall this is not a Villa it’s a Dharamshala so if you are not looking to enjoy your vacation or want any kind of luxury then pick this Villa or please save your money and just book another Villa who are not LAME like this Villa.

Travelling should be fun.. A leisure trip meant to relax and enjoy ourselves turned out to be horrendous within a few hours after our check in to VILLA Amber managed by Lohono Stays. Firstly, they have an entire rule book which was not communicated to us either by the Villa owners or the travel agent. Then, to our surprise they have cameras installed facing the rooms and the pool area leaving no privacy to guests. Their staff ( Sheetal bai) also keep peeping from different corners to check on the guests. Smoking in the Villa is not allowed ( we understand and accept), but smoking in outdoor areas was a big NO… Playing your own guitar and enjoying the evening a not allowed. Electricity faults and tripping happens every 30 mins. And they say that it is all around Alibaug as if we are travelling here for the first time. (You know what, we did not face a single electricity issue in the other villa we booked) The property owner spoke to one of the female guests in a manner that no hospitality sector member would ever speak. VERY RUDE AND UNETHICALLY. Charging a bomb for the Villa and then harassing the guests is the way of this Villa owner. LOHONO STAYS, we also did not expect you guys to be such a disappointment. And then on the top of it, after all this harassment, not even refunding the amount for the balance period of the stay, it’s a disgrace. We had to immediately book an alternate property (luckily we found it) to continue with our trip. I will suggest to NEVER EVER STAY at this property. VILLA AMBER at ALIBAUG. - A big NO NO !! I don’t know whether the owners or the property managers do this with all their guests or it’s just a mechanism to

Been here with family in November,3 couples , the property is amazing, very well maintained,the service is best, the staff are very friendly, the best part about is the food, you name and they make it, haven’t heard a no from them for any of the genuine requests made, keep up the good work, hope to visit your other properties with the same warmth and customer centric service !

Beautiful villa. Ideal for large families. Staff is very good. Seafood 👌👌
