Amma's Pastries cakes kothanur

I’m disappointed with the service I experienced. While placing the order, the billing staff asked whether I wanted a square or circle shape for the cake. When I chose circle, there was no mention of any additional charges. They simply generated the bill without explaining anything. It was only while collecting the cake that I noticed the higher price on the bill. When I questioned it, I was told that ₹100 extra was charged just for choosing a circle shape. This was never communicated in advance. Charging ₹100 extra for a basic shape like a circle, without informing the customer beforehand, feels unfair and misleading. I have purchased cakes many times from other branches and different brands, and this is the first time I’ve faced such an issue. Transparency in pricing is very important, and this experience was disappointing. Amma's Pastries used to be my go-to place for cakes, but after facing repeated disappointments, I’m honestly no longer satisfied with the experience.

⭐ 1/5 — Extremely dishonest behaviour from staff I had a very disappointing experience at Amma’s Pastry, Kothanur. I ordered a blueberry cheesecake which is priced at ₹65, but the staff member at the counter tried to charge me ₹95 and kept insisting that was the correct price. Only when I asked another staff member did the real price come out. They also refused to give me a bill until I repeatedly asked. When I finally got it, the bill even looked like it had been cancelled or tampered with, which made the whole situation feel even more suspicious almost like she was trying to pocket the extra money. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. Customers shouldn’t have to fight for correct pricing or a proper bill. I really hope the management takes this seriously and fixes the issue. also this review got deleted the first time

Hello Team, When I reached the store I told them that I wanted a red velvet cake in heart shape, heart shape means it is understood that it is love. They said it would take 20mins to prepare I said no problem as nothing comes instantly. Once it was ready and when they showed me it look like white forest cake with some red thing sprinkled on top and the sides were white, looked like a village made cake, it is my anniversary tomorrow and they gave me a perfect cake with some perfect mood to celebrate. To be very frank Ammas is no more than same which used to be once upon a time. Literally I’m heartbroken and sad, because every penny spent is hard earned, and if your team can’t prepare a red velvet cake I’m sorry to say you will end up losing all your valuable customers. Thank you for the wonderful and amazing cake. If the cake is not used tonight I shal send it across to the store for the team. Let them have it and enjoy.

Utter waste Service .. i had ordered photo cake for my daughter.. for a suggestion i sent a micky mouse picture and asked if they can make it in micky shaped photo cake with my daughter’s picture on that .. they printed micky mouse picture and delivered it half and hr late for my daughter’s birthday.. asked them to deliver by 6:30 and they delivered wrong cake by 7:00 pm and then then they promised me that they will reprint and give it in 20 mins but delivered it by 8:40 .. such manners-less behaviour by the outlet ..Even the cake quality was not like 7 wonders .. rather it was like sponge cake with 7 colors .. my daughters birthday party was spoiled to the core by these outlet people .. a big no this outlet .. I request management to look into this and sort it out so that they dont do it for other customers..

I had a wonderful experience at Amma’s Pastries, Kothnur. The cakes and pastries are always fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. What made my visit even better was the service — a special thanks to Solomon, who was extremely polite, helpful, and went the extra mile to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. His warm attitude and customer-first approach truly made the experience memorable. Highly recommend this outlet for both the taste and the excellent service!

Amma’s Bakery in Kothanur is a cozy spot for fresh and budget-friendly baked goods. They serve a good variety of breads, cakes, puffs, and biscuits. The chicken and egg puffs are always a hit, and the cakes are soft and tasty at very reasonable prices. The place is managed by Mr. Solomon, who is very polite and ensures good customer service. The bakery is small but well-kept, and service is quick. It does get a little crowded in the evenings, but that’s only because it’s quite popular in the area.

Totally waste of money …I ordered a customized cake from this shop and shared a clear reference image. They promised it would match the design exactly and charged a high amount for it. Unfortunately, the final cake looked nothing like what I requested — it was disappointing and definitely not worth the price. When I tried to raise my concerns, they were not responsive or willing to take responsibility. Extremely poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you're expecting quality work or professional handling of complaints. Very disappointing experience.

Amma's atmosphere truly turning bad in every outlet specially worst in kothanur staffs here don't know English or even kannada to give the pre-ordered cake ty took 30 min tym i clearly mentioned cake kilo, flovor, and Name to written but during dispatch ty started altering the cake special the girls over tr ty know only to laugh and rome no productive on work..

I had visited this store for the first time, and found this employee to be very rude and loud speaking infront of the customer to the other employees. This is not ethical and the service was very bad. I have attached a photo of the concern person and requesting the manager or the owner to take the required action. Thank you.

Over price ,irresponsible staff, they don't have have their own delivery service but they lie to you saying we delivery and later send damage cake. Cake taste like so cheap 3rd grade quality please don't buy from any branch of ammas. They are fraud

The Japaneso Cakes were unprepared, it smelled raw egg between the layers. The red velvet cakes were dry, looks like it had been kept for a very long time.

I just tried newly launch millet cake and butterscotch pudding cake it was delicious. yummy!!!

Pineapple Tidbits exclusive in India, pineapple which give taste of fresh fruit of apple bite can be feel while tasting the bite of cake. I love way they design the cake and round the cake, one look design of cake which bited my birthday cake - Ammas Pastries made my day with special exclusive pineapple Tidbits the unique one of bite. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🎂🎂🎂Smile created by beautiful cake which cuts my day wonderful.

The shop is worst shop. They just give some old stock of cakes and pastries and argue that it tastes like that only

This is the worst branch of Amma's Pastries I've had the misfortune of being a patron of. The whole system is terribly managed. They open at 9 but barely any items are ready. Even on Swiggy, they don't turn off the item selection for products that aren't available yet. Everyone's time, including the delivery guy's, is wasted.

I ordered a cake a week before the date. And i was very clear on the message and name along with the colour I wanted. Everything was agreed on the day of order but on the day 11aug2025 everything was messed up. The name on the cake was wrong and the colour of the cake was also wrong. Unfortunately I didn’t go to pick the cake otherwise I would have pointed out everything. I am very disappointed as the picture on the cake was also distorted. I had to hide the topper inside the cream because the name was spelled JANYA instead of JANAYA. The cake was suppose to be with purple icing. I am very very upset as it was my daughter’s bday.
