Amora Lagoon is a very peaceful and spacious hotel, especially if you enjoy open garden areas. One of the things I liked most is the large outdoor space surrounding the property. The garden area is well maintained and gives a very relaxing atmosphere, which is perfect for small events, family gatherings, or even just a quiet evening walk. The property has a calm environment compared to busy city hotels, and the open space makes it feel less crowded. It is also a convenient option for travelers because of its proximity to the airport area. Overall, this is a good choice if you prefer a hotel with more outdoor space and a relaxed setting rather than a compact city-style property.

There was a great selection of food to choose from, catering wonderfully to everyone in our party. The quality and taste were wonderful, and every dish was thoroughly enjoyed by our family. Perfect Ambiance & Setting: The ambiance of the hotel is perfect for such gatherings. We especially appreciated the great garden space, which provided a beautiful, relaxed, and spacious environment for our family to socialize and enjoy the occasion. The setting truly enhanced the entire day. We highly recommend Amora Lagoon for any family occasion or large gathering. We look forward to visiting again!

After our wedding, we chose Amora Lagoon for our stay. I would like to start by saying that the food was nice. However, our experience with the room and its facilities was disappointing. On the first day, the hot water was not working. After we complained, it was fixed. Then we noticed the hair dryer was not working as well. The next morning, the toilet pressure pump was not working and there was no water. Again, after complaining, it was repaired. Later, the tap and shower stopped working, and once more we had to complain to get it fixed. Because of these repeated issues, our first night stay was very uncomfortable, especially considering it was right after our wedding. We expected better room maintenance and a smoother experience.

Ich arbeite in der europäischen Tourismusbranche mit internationalem Hotelbezug – aber was wir hier erlebt haben, geht leider gar nicht. Trotz abbestelltem Wake-up-Call wurden wir um 7:30 Uhr telefonisch geweckt. Als wir den Stecker zogen, klopfte wenige Minuten später jemand an der Tür mit dem Hinweis, dass das Frühstück um 8:30 Uhr endet. Unser Zimmer war voller Mücken und Insekten, die durch die Tür eindrangen. Um 6 Uhr morgens lautes Geschrei auf dem Flur und auf dem Kopfkissen befand sich Blut!!!!! Wir haben all diese Punkte angesprochen, aber niemand im Hotel schien sich wirklich dafür zu interessieren. Müll, den wir vor die Tür gestellt hatten, wurde nicht abgeholt, der Flur war nass und verschmutzt. Hygiene scheint hier keine Priorität zu haben. Es wurde mehrfach ignoriert. Einen Aufzug gibt es ebenfalls nicht. Positiv erwähnen möchte ich lediglich die Dame an der Rezeption, sie war freundlich und bemüht. Der Hotelmanager hingegen sollte sich ernsthaft Gedanken machen, was er seinen Gästen bietet (wie auch andere Bewertungen bereits zeigen). Wir haben das Hotel noch am selben Tag gewechselt – leider keine Empfehlung.

Highly recommend . Had a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. Food was delicious and well presented. Definitely worth the price. Will visit again.

Amora Lagoon Hotel is a very good hotel with excellent cleanliness and a warm welcome at the reception. The reception staff are very friendly and helpful, which makes the check-in experience pleasant. However, some of the other staff could improve on their friendliness and service. The buffet is decent and satisfying, not bad at all. Overall, it’s a nice place to stay, with a clean and comfortable environment.

Highly recommend to any one for who is looking for value for their hard earn money. Buffet was good and staff was very supportive .I must say Mr Riyaz is one of the best Managers I met. He was personally involved with every aspect of my Daughters Bithday party. Mr Ravindu / The gentlemen was at reception on that day also should appreciate .. we had memorable day on 14th December .Thank you all staff making the day unforgettable . You were one of the best i have seen ...

I had a wonderful stay at Amora Lagoon Hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and professional, making the whole experience smooth from check-in to check-out. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the food was delicious. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay — highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm and well-run hotel experience.

Really great hotel! Had a layover in Colombo the hotel’s location was pretty convenient. Nimna.R was very helpful every step of the way. Arrived late and checked out very early yet he provided with impeccable service and assistance. Highly recommended

酒店经常承办各种聚会，音乐巨大，房间隔音又差，整个房间都在抖动，毫不夸张，深夜十二点还这样……非常崩溃！！！

Service and staff wonderful. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast with a very good omelette made by the chef. Room is comfortable with air conditioning and tea and coffee making facilities.

I went there to eat dinner and had realy bad problems with my stomach afterwards (as i had my flight the next day i was suffering the whole flight). do not eat kottu rotti there! service was good, but food not at all :( you should defenietly serve fresh food in the future...

Simply, They ruined my whole wedding day, my plans, my dreams and efforts!! We had a great connection at first with the manager Mr.Krishan later this became a disaster. මටයි husband ටයි මුල ඉදලම ආස උනා outdoor wedding එකකට ඒ නිසා තමයි අපි Amora එක තෝර ගත්තෙ. Krishan බිම ලෙව කෑවෙ නැති ටික විතරයි අරක කරන්නම් මේක හදලා දෙන්නම් තිය කිය අපිට හීන මැව්වා. නමුත් අවුරැද්ද පුරාවට මායි husband නුයි සැකේට වගේ 10 පාරක් විතර hotel එකට ගිහින් බැලුවා මාකියෙ එක තෙමෙනවද නැද්ද කියලා. නමුත් ඒ හැම පාරම krishan කිව්වෙ බය වෙන්න එපා ඒවා අපි හදනවා කියලා. මගේ wedding එකට කලින් දවසේ පැය ගානක් විතරක් තියෙද්දි මට message එක ආවා photos and videos එක්ක මාකිය එක ඇතුලෙන් වතුර හොදටම ගලනවා. මට එහෙම දෙයක් වෙනවා කියන එක කවුරුත් කියලා තිබ්බෙ නෑ hotel එකේ. Marki එකට මෙලෝ දෙයක් provide කරන්නෙ නෑ හැම මගුලක්ම අපි කරගන්න ඕනෙ. අපිට indoor wedding එකක් කරගන්න ඕනෙනම් ඔය මගුල ඇතුලෙ කරගන්නෙ නෑ. හදන මාකි එක අව්වට වැස්සට මිනිස්සුන්ට ඔරොත්තු දෙන විදියට හරියට ඉස්සෙල්ලා හදලා ඊට පස්සෙ මිනිස්සුන්ට promote කරපල්ලා. මිනිස්සු දහස් ගනන් සල්ලි දෙන්නෙ මෙහෙම වෙන්න නෙමෙයි. මගෙ budget පවා unlimited exceed උනා Krishan කරපු වැඩේ නිසා. මගේ decos wedding එක දා ඇතුලේ ඔක්කොම තෙමිලා මට එදාට ලැජ්ජ වෙන්න බැරි නිසා අන්තිම මොහොතෙ මන් Reception hall එකට ගත්තා. ඒ මිනිස්සු පැයකින් ඇතුලට ඔක්කොම shift කරා. මේ review එක Krishan බලනවනම් මන් කැමති The Manager of Amora Lagoon Mr Krishan ඔයාට කියන්න මිස්සුන්ගෙන් සල්ලි කඩාගන්න ඉක්මන් වෙලා එනවා වගේම ඔයාලා මට ඇති කරපු ලැජ්ජාවට වග කියන්නත් ඉක්මනින් එතනට එන්න නිකන් කොන්ද පන නැති මනුස්සයෙක් වගේ හැංගි හැංගි ඉන්නෙ නැතුව. එතන අපි වෙනුවෙන් ඉන්නව කියපු මේ මනුස්සයා එදා නෑ හොයාගන්න. අද වෙනකන් ඇහුවෙ නැ මොකද කරගත්තෙ කියලාවත්. Anyhow thanks to Mr Riyaz he managed to treat us well. Thank you for your service. Above all they should learn the difference between a cyclone and pouring. I don’t recommend this hotel for a wedding actually.

Clean, nice and quiet rooms with high tech. Delicious foods with a massive selection of local and international buffet. Friendly and really helpful staff. Special thanks to Nimna for coordinating all the things while we were there.

晚上很吵隔音不好，有蚊子，有鳥叫，還有滴水聲下雨聲….床是蠻好睡的、沐浴乳沒有也沒有補，…

Amora Lagoon is great place to stay with family and friends. We have received very good customer service experience. Hotel staff is very nice and friendly.

This place is really bad. Not good for couples or anyone who wants to relax. Only okay for a noisy BYOB group. The place is much smaller than the photos on Google and other sites. We went for a day out, but it felt like a cheap wedding with shouting kids and drunk men. They gave us a few chairs beside a dirty, smelly lake. The buffet was bad. I feel like we wasted all our money.
