Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt. Die Zimmer waren sauber, das Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt eine ruhige und entspannte Atmosphäre sehr empfehlenswert. Es ist etwas abgelegener, aber Man kann sich Abwechslungsreich beschäftigen, wir empfehlen den recreation center. Einzige Beklage ist das unser Pool nie gereinigt wurde, erst nach Nachfrage!

My stay in a Beach Pool Villa (May 2026) at Al Baleed Anantara Salalah was nothing short of exceptional. The villa was breathtakingly beautiful, secluded, peaceful, and wonderfully serene. Waking up to uninterrupted sea views and having a private pool with perfectly warm water made for an unforgettable experience. The villa itself was spacious and thoughtfully appointed, with luxurious Amouage amenities, a rain shower, and smart TVs that allowed seamless mirroring of personal devices. What truly sets this resort apart, however, is the outstanding service. A special thank you to Gabor, who went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of my holiday was perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his attention to detail made me feel genuinely valued as a guest. Thank you also to Hussain, who cheerfully chauffeured me around the resort in the golf buggy and even helped search for my misplaced iPad charger. Every member of staff, from housekeeping to the restaurant team at Meekong, was attentive, warm, and friendly throughout my stay. I particularly appreciated the personalised touches. I mentioned my love of young coconuts, and Gabor arranged for fresh coconuts to be sent to my villa daily with just a call to reception. The breakfast team delighted me by preparing fresh, hot puri that wasn’t even on the menu, giving me a taste of India. They also happily accommodated my request for dosa each morning for the duration of my stay. This was my second visit to Salalah but my first stay at Anantara, and the hotel team has completely won me over. Their genuine hospitality, combined with the stunning surroundings and luxurious accommodation, created an experience that has been etched into my heart. I have no doubt that I will be returning in 2027

I would like to share my wonderful experience at Al Baleed Resort Salalah by Anantara. We were delighted to receive a generous upgrade to a pool villa, which made our stay truly special. Even though the resort is celebrating its 10th anniversary, it is clearly meticulously maintained and cared for, retaining its sense of luxury and charm. Our dining experiences were exceptional, starting with a superb dinner at Al Mina accompanied by pleasant, unobtrusive live music, followed by another fantastic meal at Mekong. The breakfast was incredibly rich with a wide variety of choices, and the in-room dining service was both high-quality and impressively fast. We also appreciated the room amenities, where in addition to the standard minibar, coffee machine, and tea kettle, we were provided with a generous supply of complementary drinking water in eco-friendly glass bottles. We were very impressed by the staff, who were consistently attentive, helpful, and professional throughout our stay. It is evident that the resort prioritizes excellence in every detail, and we already look forward to returning in the future.

Amazing hotel and high quality staff with attention to detail. Saud was extremely welcoming at the reception. Hussein operating the buggies and helping with luggage was very friendly. Nurul was super accommodating and diligent cleaning our room. Ladies at the Kids club reception were very enthusiastic and caring. And finally Adil managing the farm always with a smile on his face. They are well located to the beach and pool. We were in close contact to all personel, which were absolutely great, especially mr. Gabor, he arranged our whole stay. You know you're in a top tier resort when everything is possible. For example, because of renovations the breakfast restaurant at the pool was closed for breakfast. But we really wanted to enjoy the morning sea breese at breakfast. So the amazing FB manager Zaher and mr. Gabor arranged that we could have breakfast at the beach. This was such an amazing gesture we will never forget! So thank you to the whole team and you will definitely see us next year. To other travelers: don't forget to spend time in the activity center and plant your own Luban tree and see it grow over the years!

We chose Al Baleed Resort for a truly relaxing holiday, and we returned home completely satisfied. The staff was exceptionally kind, professional, and always willing to help. Both the rooms and the common areas were spotless and impeccably maintained. The food offered a wide variety of choices and was consistently of excellent quality. I also tried the spa for a relaxing massage and found the entire experience very well organized, peaceful, and truly rejuvenating. The massage itself was professionally done and very enjoyable. We especially appreciated the overall sense of tranquility throughout the resort, which made our stay even more special. A special mention goes to Ceelin. When we raised a small point for improvement, she immediately took action to resolve it, making our stay even more enjoyable. Her attentiveness and care truly made a difference. We would gladly return and highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for relaxation, comfort, and outstanding service.

We had been hesitating for quite some time between this hotel and another one, and choosing this property turned out to be the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, everything felt exceptional. The hotel is huge, absolutely stunning, and truly at the level of the most refined luxury properties. Our stay was especially meaningful as we were celebrating both our honeymoon and my birthday, and the entire team went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. Zomayed and Billal were absolutely wonderful and made our stay feel so personal and special. Breakfast was a highlight every morning, not only because it was delicious, but also because of the warmth of the team. Sully and everyone there were so welcoming and attentive, and it was always such a pleasure to start the day with them. A huge thank you as well to Yussuf and Leo at the front desk, who were amazing, and to Saud, our villa host, who was absolutely incredible. We also want to warmly thank Ahmed and Hisham, who helped us every time with the car and always did so with kindness and a smile. A very special mention to the villa welcome team. Every single day, they left us the loveliest welcome note in the room, with beautiful decorations made with sparkles and sand. It gave us the biggest smile every time we came back to the villa and made the stay feel even more magical and personal. We also really enjoyed speaking with Hussain, our tour guide, who was always there to host us and gave us amazing tips and recommendations for Salalah. His advice truly made our trip even better. Adnan in the evenings also gave us some of the best recommendations for wonderful local restaurants, which we really appreciated. A special thank you as well to Noha from the spa, who was fantastic and helped me organize and book so many things, including tennis. Everything was seamless thanks to her. We loved the spa, the gym, the padel, the mini golf, and all the amenities overall. The private spa access with the hammam and jacuzzi was truly exceptional. Even the valet and parking experience was lovely. Every time we needed the car, it was handled with a smile, and those small interactions made such a difference. It is rare to find a place where everyone seems genuinely happy to host you, and that was exactly the feeling here. What truly sets this hotel apart, beyond the beauty of the property and the incredible amenities, is the people. The service was outstanding from beginning to end, and every person we met seemed genuinely invested in making our stay happy, smooth, and memorable. This stay exceeded all our expectations. This is an exceptional place, i alwaus spend time at the Al Baleed anantara when i am in Salalah. If you've been here then you know :) The breakfast at Sakalan is delicious, with impeccable service from the staff there. The pool and private beach service at Anantara Al-Baleed in Salalah is nothing short of exceptional. From the moment you arrive, the experience feels calm, refined, and perfectly curated. What truly sets this pool and beach experience apart is the level of personalized service. Whether it’s arranging refreshments, adjusting sun loungers, or simply checking in with a friendly smile, the team consistently demonstrates professionalism and care. Special mention to Mihira and his colleagues who made the experience extra special. The atmosphere is serene, making it an ideal place to unwind while listening to the waves. I 100% recommend!

This was my third stay at the hotel, which I consider the best location in Salalah for those seeking relaxation. The standards are consistently high across every aspect of the experience. What stood out most this time around was how the management interacts with guests and genuinely listens and clearly goes the extra mile to ensure guests’ needs are met. Even before arriving, the service was excellent. I asked for advice on some local shopping and received a prompt and spot-on recommendation that proved extremely helpful. One small point for improvement: Having tried all the hotel’s restaurants over the years, one does occasionally want to go downtown for a change of scenery. it would be much more convenient if taxis could pick up guests directly at the reception. Currently, having to walk to the main gate and wait there feels slightly awkward. Overall, an excellent hotel that combines outstanding service with a sense of calm, and genuine care for its guests.

Solid 5 star hotel that is dated but excellent all round service. Expect high prices but high quality service and F&B. Breakfast buffet was great and never felt full or crowded, decent selection. Mekong was the best restaurant by far. Beach was huge with strong waves. Lots of choice on the beach but there was a large number of european guests that liked to get up and reserve sun beds. At a 5 star resort this kind of practice shouldn’t be allowed. Pool villa felt old - room key was not working half the time, lot of ants in the bathroom and room service was slow.

Gefühlt gibt es mehr Mitarbeiter als Gäste - egal in welcher Hinsicht, sind alle bemüht, einen perfekten Aufenthalt zu gestalten. Das Publikum ist sehr entspannt, ruhig und zurückhaltend. Alles ist so dimensioniert, dass man wirklich relaxen kann - fern von Massenabfertigung. Für Europäer ist die Wintersaison hier ideal. Die Strandlage ist fantastisch: wir sind den traumhaften Strand bis zur Stadt und in die andere Richtung 20 km barfuß gelaufen. Schöne Ausflüge haben wir auch gemacht. Wir waren überrascht, wie freundlich, offen und interessiert alle Menschen sind. Man fühlt sich 100% sicher, willkommen und wird von jedem überall gegrüßt. Noch mal zum Hotel: wir hatten eine traumhafte Villa mit Pool als Upgrade erhalten. Mehr Luxus, Ruhe und Privatsphäre geht kaum.
Das Essen ist auf sehr hohem Niveau, verschiedenste frische Zutaten - es bleiben keine Wünsche unerfüllt: ob Frühstücks-, Abendbüffets oder Eventabende in den Restaurants. Für Getränke kann man hier ein Vermögen ausgeben, aber auch die günstigsten Weine auf der Karte schmecken. Mit kostenlosem Wasser wird man dafür beim Frühstück, im Zimmer oder am Strand versorgt. Die Anlage ist schön, schöner Pool zum Schwimmen. Es gibt keine Animation, hier und da angenehme Musikdarbietungen zum Abendessen - für uns genau richtig. Die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals und die individuelle Ansprache auf Augenhöhe sind hier absolut außergewöhnlich. Alle Mitarbeiter identifizieren sich 100%tig mit dem Hotel, das wohl genügend Freiraum und gute Bedingungen bietet. Lauter sehr verschiedene Persönlichkeiten, die einem bis heute ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubern. Einige möchte ich hier noch nennen:

Just reminiscing about the magical Anantara Al Baleed Resort here in Salalah – what a truly wonderful, welcoming, and discreet haven! The villas boast stunning private gardens with pools that flow right into the bedroom. Bathtubs big enough for two in the bathrooms, three fantastic restaurants, a pristine beach where dolphins glide by... and top-tier cuisine across the board. Hats off to the director too – word is he's Italian! The ultimate romantic escape from Europe's chilly months. ❤️🏖️

The resort is peaceful and beautifully maintained. The staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. The private beach and pool areas are never crowded. Parking is easy and right by the entrance. A special thank you to Gábor, the only Hungarian team member, for his warmth, care, and personal attention. He made us feel truly at home. Highly recommended! 🌸

كانت إقامتنا فيه في موسم خريف صلالة ٢٠٢٥ حجزنا فيلا بمسبح اختيارنا للفندق كان بسبب تنوع الخدمات والمرافق خصوصا وجود مدرب سباحة وقولف وغيرها من الرياضات كنت ابغى الأولاد يستفيدو اثناء إقامتنا لأن الأنشطة البحرية مغلقة في الموسم لكن للأسف ماكان المدرب موجود في الموسم ! يعني لا أنشطة بحرية ولا رياضية! غير ان الكهربا كانت تطفي علينا كل شوية فكانو عمال الصيانة داخلين خارجين والحقيقة ماكان المكان مريح نفسيا غير انه توقعنا خدمة فاخرة ودلع لكن للأسف كان عادي جدا ضيافة عند استلام المكان لا يوجد بلغونا انه حتكلمنا موظفة تعرفنا بالمكان والمرافق وتكون معانا وقت الحاجة ، ماشفناها ولا سمعنا صوتها باختصار مايستاهل المبلغ الي اندفع وطلبنا منهم تعويض على ازعاج الصيانة كان بابنا مفتوح لهم طول الوقت وعوضونا بجزء بسيط جدا من المبلغ أحلى شي في المكان المطاعم ونادي الأطفال في تفاصيل حلوة حرصهم على راحتنا وقت الدخول بتوفير سرير ومكان نوم لكل طفل (مدفوع طبعا مو مجانا)

Hôtel incroyable, nous y sommes allé pour nous reposer du tumulte parisien. L’hôtel était vide de touriste mais le service était incroyable, les infrastructures sont top la plage est magnifique. Le service est top, un grand merci à la manageuse du petit déjeuné qui a été incroyable et qui a pris soin de nous.

She handled everything with such warmth and always made sure our family was comfortable and happy. Her leadership clearly shows throughout the hotel experience. Huge appreciation as well to Mohammed from the night shift front desk. No matter how late it was, he was always patient, respectful, and eager to help with anything we needed. After long travel days, seeing a friendly face willing to assist meant a lot to our family. We are also extremely grateful to Burgah, the Housekeeping Manager, and Rabby from housekeeping. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and care they put into our rooms were outstanding. Traveling with children is not easy, but they made our rooms feel peaceful, organized, and like a second home. Their hard work did not go unnoticed. And a special thank you to Dilshan from reservations for helping make the entire booking and stay process easy and stress-free. Everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with real hospitality. This team genuinely deserves recognition for the amount of effort, patience, and kindness they showed our family throughout the stay. Employees like these are the reason guests return and recommend a hotel to others. Management should be proud to have such dedicated staff members representing the hotel. Very nice and quiet hotel. Villas are big, comfortable and in good condition. Great cleaning service, thanks to our room attendants Hassan and Aminul. All hotel staff are kind and helpful. Although the sea was rough, we still enjoyed our time at the beach. We would also preferred a bigger choice of food.
