Busy place with good stock .didn't see more latest collections like other jewelleries. Paid parking available opposite side of gold souq.

I went here on a suggestion from my hostel mate. It seemed cheaper compared to some other shops, though many were also reasonably priced. It is quite famous and crowded, especially with tourists looking for gold and diamonds.

I had a very bad experience at Anwar Jewelry in the Gold Souk. We went there with the intention to buy gold. While we were standing near the counter, two ladies suddenly stepped in. Instead of handling the situation politely, a staff member named Bikash behaved very rudely toward us. He spoke to us with a cruel and disrespectful expression and repeated three times, in an aggressive manner, that we should move aside. We were treated as if we were not customers at all, almost like beggars, while others standing around were clearly customers too. I don’t understand why we were singled out or judged based on appearance. We came to buy jewelry with our own money, but the way we were treated was extremely humiliating. Customer satisfaction is zero. I request the CEO and management of Anwar Jewelry to please train your staff to treat everyone with respect, whether they buy or not. Customer service should not be based on assumptions. I hope others read this review and observe how customers are treated before deciding to buy from this store.

I had a terrible experience with one of their showroom salesmen in their second store,  It was unfortunate that while I was there to purchase gold jewellery with my final decision. But, horrible customer service. The particular salesman had a massive ego and refused to assist me with the another designs. He seemed more interested in his own showoff than actually doing his job. Avoid this place if you want to be treated with respect. This was a horrible experience. Although I am not familiar with his name, I would suggest to the company owner to send him out as he is an unusual showoff and stylist. In response to his response, I told him to treat customers well, and I left from there and went to my other known jeweller shop in Deira to purchase jewellery worth AED 10K. Also, I got a better discount with my known shop, Great.

Extremely crowded and busy always due to the attraction of ZERO MAKING CHARGES strategy which has taken a big hit of all other jewelers including top ones in gold souk market as 90% of the crowd visits Anvar and remaining 10% shops at other shops Due to high footfalls you can’t expect a great customer service. They have a decent collections of all items. They charge additional 2.5% on credit card payments We faced a unique issue even after availing the VAT return invoice as they didn’t submit the bills online on time and hence we have to loose the vat refund

This store does nothing when it comes to VAT refund. My parents bought jewellery here last month and till today we haven’t received the refund. When I called, first they blamed a “billing mistake,” then said we “didn’t give the passport,” and later shifted the blame to the Green Planet refund counter. Every time I called, they just passed me from one person to another with zero accountability. As a tourist, once you’ve left, you have no way to fix this, and they take full advantage of that. You’ll end up losing your hard-earned money. Save yourself the headache. And when I wrote the review they had all the time to find fault that I didn’t give the passport, plenty of cctv you have go and check. Why was I not informed that despite of giving passport we’re not updating it on your bill. They don’t have time to reply on mails or calls and have all the time to argue on reviews.

I would not recommend this place at all. I visited them because I was in urgent need of money and decided to sell my jewellery. They asked me to bring the purchase receipt, which I did the very next day. However, instead of handling the situation professionally, I was treated in a humiliating manner. Because the receipt was in my sister’s name, the staff spoke to me very rudely and insulted me in front of other customers, almost as if I had stolen the jewellery. There was absolutely no attempt to explain their policy politely or decline the transaction respectfully. Their tone was disrespectful, judgmental, and completely unprofessional. This is not the first time I have faced poor behavior from them, which makes the experience even more disappointing. Customer service should be empathetic and respectful, especially when someone is already in a difficult situation. I strongly advise people not to buy or sell jewellery here. Very unprofessional service and extremely poor customer handling.

Cheapest shop in Gold Souq … They take ZERO making charges as they don’t have extra ordinary designs but have a lot of variety …Also they offer less price as compared to the days gold rate … e.g. if gold rate is AED 370 they will offer it for AED 365 … once you finalise your items you have to wait with a reciept at the cash counter as it is crowded … but the wait is not more than 10 minutes

I just buy today 22 karat gold necklace .and it was no making charge for all of thier product.and less -3 dirham from the gold amount(on that day). I already checked some neighbor store but they are the one who have best price. They having too much customers and you need to wait until they finish the previous customer.i want to thank staff for assisting me and understand what I need and give advice also what the best for me his name is shafik if im not mistaken.small guy.he is patience with me..Also I feel that the other staff is having to much work because of the non stop comming of customer…over all the quality is good.better if you bring cash and have time and not in the rush coming in the store. Super Gold-/ Schmuckhändler mit tollem Service. Wir haben dort einen sehr kleinen Goldring mit sehr kleinen Steinen gekauft. Bei diesem sind leider zwei Mal nach ca. 7 Monaten zwei Sterne herausgefallen. Aufgrund der Ringgröße kann dies passieren. Beide Male wurde der Ring kostenfrei repariert.
