I recently stayed at Areca Ranches Homestay in Chikmagalur, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature, and offers such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—exactly what I was looking for. The hospitality was exceptional. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, and the food was delicious and homely, which made the experience even more special. I especially loved the calm vibe, the scenic views, and how refreshing it felt to disconnect from the busy routine and just enjoy nature. Had a wonderful stay at Areca Ranches Homestay, Chikmagalur. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and special thanks to the owner Mr. Saffan for his great hospitality. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature with fresh air and a peaceful environment. Enjoyed the clean swimming pool, fun games, cycling, and relaxing walks. The food was healthy and very tasty, just like home. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway—must visit at least once! 👍

We came with our family in January and had a wonderful stay at Areca Estate in Chikmagalur. The ambience was warm and welcoming, and the vintage Lambretta at the entrance added a charming touch. Surrounded by lush areca trees and peaceful plantations, it felt like the perfect escape. The owners were incredibly kind, and Aman and Kuthu made sure we had the best experience throughout our stay. The rooms were cozy, food from delivery apps came right to our doorstep, and sitting by the bonfire at night was truly calming. Waking up to the cool breeze and plantation views was unforgettable. We would love to visit again.

The stay was really good. The view was nice with balcony facing the pool and garden beside the pool. The host was really nice and the owner was kind enough to drop us to the bus stop after checkout.

👉🏻 BEFORE BOOKING THE GUEST HOUSE PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW,🙏🏻Our family trip was ruined by the experience at Areca Guest House. They are completely dishonest about their booking and pricing. When you confront them, they lie about 'third-party' vs 'first-party' bookings just to avoid responsibility and overcharge you. They are looting guests by charging high prices for food they simply buy from outside. Do not believe their excuses; they are just trying to make you lose money. Avoid this place at all costs!

Overall, a highly disappointing experience. While the place itself wasn’t completely bad, the overall management and services were extremely poor. Safety was a concern, especially with a dog roaming around, which is not suitable for children. The food was a complete waste of money—poor quality and not worth the price at all. On top of that, we were charged extra for indoor games after being told they were included, which felt very unfair and misleading. There was also no proper guidance or support from staff, making the stay even more frustrating. Overall, it felt like money was taken without providing basic value. I would not recommend this place.

One of the best parts of our stay was the freedom to celebrate. We danced, played games, and truly enjoyed ourselves without any disturbance.The crackers added a festive touch and made the night unforgettable. The homemade-style food with local flavors was loved by everyone in our group, and it felt comforting and satisfying. The staff were very cooperative, friendly, and supportive throughout our stay, ensuring everything went smoothly for such a large group. Overall, Areca Ranches Homestay is an ideal place for group trips, family gatherings, and celebrations. This property is well maintained and coziest place to be.They made our stay even more comfortable and we thought it be they have been and always made sure to attend us with a smile and makes us feel homely really kind and lovely througout our stay we really enjoyed being there and will definitely visit again

Totally worth it! Perfect spot for some quality time with the whole fam. They’ve got a great lineup of games—foosball, snooker, cycling, and even a fun twist with frisbee football. The bonfire vibe at sunset is super chill, and karaoke just takes the night up a notch. Big props to the management—not only do they host well, but they also sing like pros! Best enjoyed with a gang, though solo travelers won’t be disappointed either. Easy to locate yet tucked away enough for complete peace and privacy. Rooms are comfy, and the large space with dorm beds is a great touch for groups.

Absolute worth it. Can enjoy with entire family. They have quite a few games including foosball, snooker, cycling, frisbee football. Bonfire is a soothing sundowner and kareoke is the cherry on top. Shout out to the management who sing exceptionally well. People coming in big groups will enjoy the most. The location is easy to find and secluded enough for absolute privacy.
