The Good: The Atana Musandam Resort itself is beautiful. The property is very nice, looks great, and easily has the bones and aesthetic of a 5-star resort. The layout and rooms (we booked a Duplex room) are structurally excellent. The Bad (Service & Management): Unfortunately, the management and service are nowhere near a 5-star standard. Our experience was plagued by delays and poor communication: Check-in Delays: Our rooms were assigned 2 hours late, which is unacceptable and a frustrating start to the stay. Poor Communication: The bar was closed due to Arafat Day. We completely respect the religious and local compliance, but management failed to inform guests that room service for drinks was still active. We only found out by luck because we noticed a waiter carrying an order and had to ask. Management should actively communicate these details. Housekeeping Failures: We booked a duplex room for 3 adults, yet the room was only supplied with a single towel. When we called room service to request more, it took an entire hour just to get them delivered. Dining: The food taste in the main restaurant was quite disappointing and not up to the mark for a resort of this caliber. Verdict: While the property is physically stunning and has immense potential, the management is simply not at par. If you care about seamless service and good food, the current management team has a lot of room for improvement.

.First of all, I would like to appreciate the warmth and professionalism shown by the Omani immigration officers during an extremely busy holiday period. The hospitality and respectful sattitude we experienced at the border truly reflected the kindness Oman is known for. Unfortunately, our experience at Atana Resort was completely different. The reception lady on duty appeared unwelcoming, rude, and noticeably biased in the way guests were treated. I was waiting at the reception for nearly 10 minutes for my bill around 12:30 PM, during which I witnessed three separate guest interactions. The first Indian family with children approached her requesting an early check-in. She dismissed them immediately, stating they should return at 2 PM, without even allowing them to properly explain or complete their request. A second Indian family received very similar treatment. However, when a European family approached shortly after, her attitude changed completely. She became extremely polite and informed them that although the official check-in time was 2 PM, they would receive their room within 5 minutes. This was especially disappointing considering that nearly 80% of the hotel guests at the time appeared to be Indian families. I genuinely love Oman and have always found Omani people to be respectful, warm, and welcoming. That is why this experience stood out so negatively. I sincerely hope senior management takes note of this feedback because experiences like these leave a lasting impression. Personally, I would hesitate to stay at the resort again, and I am sure other guests who felt similarly would feel the same way. Overall, I hope the resort improves its customer service standards to ensure all guests are treated with equal respect and professionalism.

To rate this hotel as 4* is ridiculous. 2* service at best. A pleasant check in by Mayzher, very polite and courteous man. Unfortunately after this seriously bad. Sitting at pool in 35 degrees to be told that we cannot order water and no towels. After asking 3 times to managers we eventually get water given to us with a very bad attitude as if we made a very difficult request. Nobody answers at room service, calling over and over. Wait to eat yo be told the kitchen is busy and we need to wait 2 hours. What 4* hotel does this? I needed a plug to charge my phone after a long drive and a big issue was caused when I was sitting in restaurant using a plug point. Breakfast quality nowhere near 4*. I will never return to this hotel. Very disappointing

This hotel truly stands out as one of the finest, offering exceptional high-end service and hospitality. I was especially touched by the warm and genuine welcome extended by Mr. Mazher Al Dhahouri at the front office. His kindness, professionalism, and unwavering support made my experience not only comfortable but truly memorable. I am sincerely grateful for his outstanding care and dedication, which reflect the very best of this hotel’s values.

This is definitely one of the best hotels in the Musandam area. Yes, it is a bit on the expensive side, especially considering that there is no direct access to the sea, no real panoramic view, and no gazebo or dedicated spot where you can sit and enjoy the ocean scenery. However, the hotel itself is comfortable and well maintained. The breakfasts were tasty, and the open buffet dinner was also quite good with a decent variety of dishes. A big plus is the location: there is a supermarket within walking distance, and it takes only 4 minutes by car to reach the port, which is very convenient if you are planning a dolphin-watching or dhow cruise excursion.

Great property and well priced. Staff are friendly and the diving is off the hook. Highly recommend a trip if youre looking for some minimalist vacation where it's all about a simple life and great diving

Atana Musandam Resort is truly an oasis in Khasab. The territory is so lush and green, with beautiful granaries that make it feel unique and authentic. From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. Special thanks to Qannaf from reception who kindly arranged both early check-in and late check-out — such thoughtful service made my stay even better. My room was amazing — very large, comfortable, with a huge balcony overlooking the canal and mountains. Waking up to the sound of birds singing was magical. The food was another highlight: both room service and breakfast were delicious and satisfying. One of the nicest surprises was the complimentary airport drop-off — completely unexpected but very helpful and appreciated. I absolutely love this hotel. It is the best place to stay in Khasab, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip here!

الفندق جميل جدا و نظيف توجد بلكونه كبيره في الغرفه مطله على البحر الغرفه كبيره التصميم تقليدي جميل و حبيت الإهتمام في أدق التفاصيل لابراز الهويه العمانيه تصميم الفندق جميل الخدمه سريعه في الغرف و المطعم تسجيل الدخول سريع جدا قريب من اللولو (سوبر ماركت مقابل الفندق) قريب من الميناء للرحلات البحريه قريب من المطاعم (يحتاج سياره) الموظفين خدومين توجد مواقف سيارات مجانية اطلاله الغرف مقابل البحر كانت توجد رائحه عفن خفيفه في إحدى الغرف السعر غالي نسبيا (حجزنا فتره اجازه رسميه في البلاد) توجد منطقه ألعاب للأطفال مع حوض سباحه يوجد حوض سباحه للكبار السرير لم يكن مريح

Very good and beautiful hotel with a view. Rooms were neat & clean, and ambience was good. But poor front desk staff. We were a group of 5 families went there on November 29-30. The lady at the counter refused to to provide water after giving few bottles and ask us to buy from the restaurant. At the time of check out i was 1 hour late but the gentleman at the reception asked me to pay 30 OMR while per day charge was 96 OMR. At last we settled on 5 OMR, because his colleague charges 5 omr from my friend. But after everything I will visit again if i travel there. Hope the management will look into it.

فندق أتانا مسندم من الفنادق اللي تشرح الصدر من أول لحظة. والمكان رايق، والإطلالة على البحر والجبال تعطي إحساس راقي وراحة نفسية،وتعامل الموظفين جداً محترم وسلس، والخدمة سريعة وفيها اهتمام بالتفاصيل. النظافة ممتازة، والغرف واسعة ومريحة وتدل على اهتمامهم براحة الضيف، وتجربة جميلة وتستحق الزيارة، وأنصح كل شخص يبغي يقضي وقت ممتع في أجواء هادئة ومميزة ان يختار هذا الفندق……👌👌👌👌💫⭐️⭐️💫

We stayed here as a family of 5 for two nights. We were given connecting rooms which made our stay with children more comfortable. The rooms are darker than the usual hotel rooms, but this adds to the traditional feel. We rested well whilst we were here. We ate breakfast in the restaurant; this was adequate enough for us although the restaurant felt slightly cramped. I would stay here again when we visit in the future.

We travelled with family of teenagers and several friends . This was a road trip. We arrived in the evening and had 7 rooms. We got all rooms except one, which was not ready. The room otherwise were very nice as evident from the pics . The hotel is located on an elevation sorrounded by canals on two sides. All our rooms had great views on water. Checkin was smooth Breakfast was average with limited options for vegetarians . Infact even jam ran out during the breakfast. There are two Pools and both are very small. There was some replacement of carpets which was surprisingly happening on a weekend and that too during the day blocking access to rooms. Overall the place was nice and we had lot of fun.

Nice size rooms, friendly staff who helped us hire a dhou for the day to see dolphins and fishing. A short 5 minute drive to the port, and Lulu next to the resort. Otherwise not much else around.

One of the most beautiful hotels in Musandam! The service is excellent, and the Omani hospitality and atmosphere give the place a truly special charm. The rooms are clean and well-organized, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended! 🌟

J'ai passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. L’accueil y est vraiment chaleureux et le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et attentif. Les chambres sont très belles, spacieuses et confortables. L’hôtel en lui-même est splendide, avec des espaces élégants et bien entretenus. La piscine est superbe et idéale pour se relaxer tout en profitant du cadre exceptionnel.

Very disappointing experience. Despite informing the hotel and requesting flexibility, my booking was marked as a no-show with no willingness to assist or escalate the matter to management. The communication was rigid, unhelpful, and lacked customer care. Policies were used as an excuse instead of offering any reasonable solution. I would not recommend this hotel based on how this situation was handled.

Inflexible and unhelpful at all, if the only care is to get the money regardless anything else, i really feel unfair from the reservation team, after they accepted to change dates and i am trying to recommend dates , in one day they have changed completely and now not changing dates and not offering any solution, why because they said it clearly we have already got the money. Very unfair and i don't forgive them at all
