Stay away from this place if you do not want to risk being cheated! About one year ago, I purchased a gold necklace from Atasay. After wearing it for about a year, the small balls on the chain started moving, so I returned to the store for maintenance. An employee named Moustafa Eloarsh assisted me. When he filled out the repair/service slip, he wrote that the necklace weighed 6.25 grams. I immediately felt this was incorrect because I clearly remembered the necklace being heavier. However, he insisted that the weight was 6.25 grams. I checked the original certificate and invoice, which clearly state that the necklace’s original weight is 6.41 grams. This means the employee reduced the recorded weight on the service receipt. This discrepancy is extremely concerning. Recording a lower weight when a customer leaves their gold item for maintenance creates a serious risk that gold could be removed during the repair process. If I had not checked my certificate, I might never have noticed this difference. This experience has completely destroyed my trust in the store and in this employee in particular. Customers should always verify the weight of their gold items before leaving them for service.
