The staff were very professional and friendly. They made sure you understood your care when it was explained to you, and helped you get to where you needed for your appointment.

The place has a brand new slide & a whole new playground as well… as for “buying” food if you go on a Tuesday or a Friday then just drive on around the park to the building that says Fishes & Loaves bc it just so happens to be giving out free food to anybody who may need it

Sent my friend home after surgery n a accident and he could not get his meds.. he is back at hospital not VA ty... his heart was infected... Jesus was with us 22 hours after he got out I took him to VA n he was a mess... he is getting treatment now correctly...

As always the staff, nurses and Dr Foster were pleasant and professional to interact with. Dr. Foster always takes the time to have a conversation about my health and how I feel.

Staff makes you feel as you are the only patient that requires their attention...gives one a warming feeling even though they're professional.

I am having mixed feelings. The staff that I interacted with were great, however I was not pleased with the way the room was that my friend whom I was visiting was in. The temperature was stuck on 75°, the solution they had was place a fan in the room and point it toward the ceiling. The floor was dirty, it had spots and spills all over it. I picked up the items on the floor and through them away in the trash and linen receptacles. I was going to get a mop and clean the floor myself, however more visitors came in and the environmental services lady was close to cleaning the room soon (I think). Again nice staff, however somethings need to be addressed.

I had an appointment with my nephrologist today. Of course, as usual, everything was alright. I won't have to return for another 4 months.

Since forcing Hospitalists on patients and Piedmont taking over the place has turned into a place to die. They have no care or compassion for patients.

I hate everything about this hospital. The very few staff that work there or have worked there for many years seems to be the only ones that care, for others, it's just a job.

I'm a employee here l've been a employee for 26 years my kids were born here and they were patients here and my daughter is still a patient here it's a good hospital .

I had an appointment at Family Medicine clinic on this particular day. Although I was not feeling my very best, I woke up that morning and asked God to guide my steps and to also allow me to say or do something kind for the next person. Funnily enough, while I was standing in line my alarm went off. One of the clerks was finishing up with the patient ahead of me but he chuckled with excitement. For reference my alarm read aloud, "I'm not gonna tell you again it's 8:15!" As I walked up to him he replied, "that is by far the best alarm I've ever heard and I cannot wait to tell all of my friends!" It was something so very small but the amount of pure joy it was able to exude was exorbitant!

Consult appointment took two hours in neurology dpt. When in pain, need better furniture or shorter consult. But the people are great! 5 stars for them

I hope to never need their services again. My husband was taken there from the VA to help with issues related to pancreatic cancer (which at that time it was still thought to be stage II). However my husband's situation did not improve at all from their procedure or assessment. We expressed that we would like to have a new CT done with contrast but the doctor felt it unnecessary. So when he was taken back to the VA, they heard our concerns & did perform the CT. Found out that the cancer was now stage IV. The hospital does not see that there is any issue with those choices made.

The Staff is Awesome! My Mother spent 4 days there and the nursing staff was EVERYTHING they should be and then some! Their kindness and attitudes were outstanding. Their care and love for patients is above the call. They took care of Momma, no doubt.

This school has screwed me over multiple times. I enrolled paid the fifty dollar enrollment fee, I completed one semester of classes successfully the following semester.I went to register for my classes on the day They told me to register when I did.None of my classes were available.They kept trying to get me to take classes that I did not need.So I decided to differ for that semester. Then the following semester.I went to register for classes and they told me that I was not deferred in the previous semester and that I was uninrolled and in an order for me to continue classes.I have to reapply to the school and pay another fifty dollars. By then, it was already a little late for registering for classes but I went ahead and enrolled paid the additional $50. Like I did before and the adviser told me she would differ me and I could apply for classes in the fall.. Well, it's fall I called and they told me that I was uninrolled as a no show for last Spring semester and that I would need to reapply again and pay another $50 if I wanted to do my classes. This University has put my education on hold for 2 years now. I should already be at UGA. I literally have 4 classes to finish and I'll have my bachelor's. I am absolutely livid.

UPDATE: I checked in on 6/22 for surgery. I had never had to stay overnight in a hospital, but had had family overnight in a few places. AU Health is AWESOME!!! From beginning to end ALL, but one, were so pleasant, kind, efficient, knowledgeable and "on the ball!" The one just had a bit of a "why are you bothering me?" tone of voice, BUT she immediately got the help I needed. I was very grateful that when I pushed the call button, someone answered within seconds and there was someone that came to help me, usually within 30 seconds. It was like I was the only patient on the floor... now that's service!!! The volunteers are also very well trained, knowledgeable and friendly! I read some complaints about long wait times. In those cases, not knowing all the facts, it sounds as if many are from waiting in ED. My first visit here on March 3rd, had a bit of a wait time, but I was not critical. If I had been, I certainly would have wanted them to take me before taking someone that was not critical... so would you. FROM A FOLLOW-UP VISIT: Always great care from a friendly staff! I drive 45 minutes just to go there instead of the local hospital that's only 15 minutes from me. Worth the time, every time.

The only complaint I have about this visit was my typical, long wait time. I was there early and checked in, but there were four people scheduled for a department that can only handle two at a time max. The nurses were friendly and helpful and got me out as quickly as possible without seeming to rush, though.
