I visited this branch and here is my experience:
- The staff's behavior is decent, so at least you don't feel like walking out immediately.
- They listen to your concerns and promise to deliver.
Now comes the annoying part:
- They took forever to complete my request.
- When I followed up, they kept saying, “Ho jaega ma’am shaam tak,” but that “shaam” never came.
- After two days, I tried reaching out again, but my calls were ignored.
- I visited the branch once more, but they kept giving excuses like system failure, request not going through, etc.
- After waiting for almost a week, I got fed up and asked them to cancel the request. They refused to do that too.
- I eventually went to another Axis Bank branch in Delhi, and guess what? My request was completed in just 24 hours.
I’ve been an Axis Bank customer for years, but experiences like this one leave a very bad impression. If any authorities are reading this, I request you to kindly look into the matter.
The employee who was handling my request was not very helpful. If he would have said directly that the transaction I requested for would take 1 week than I would have waited or would have opted for other options. But his ‘Aaj pakka hojayega, cancel karna nahi pageda’ wasted my entire week and eventually I had to visit another branch. I would have appreciated a straightforward estimation of time but to send a customer in circles & wasting their time is not appreciated.
