Azaiba Bus Station - Mwasalat محطة حافلات مواصلات

I had my tickets booked in advance, so the process at Azaiba Bus Station was straightforward. The station itself is pretty big, with a small waiting area under AC which is comfortable enough while waiting for your bus. There are two entrances: the left side is for cars, and the right side (with two doors) is for passengers. On the inside, the left section is where you can buy tickets, and the right side is the waiting area. Nothing particularly special about the station, but it’s functional and convenient. One plus is that you can find drinkable water there.

色々なサイトを見ると、ニズワやバハラに行くバス停の位置が色々あるが、ここで合ってる⭕️ バスはネットから予約して発行されるQRで直接乗れる。特に引き換えなどは不要。 ネットの予約画面だと直前でも空席多数で「予約なんて必要ないか？」と思いがちだが、実際当日は満席になる。積み残しも出していたので、予約は必須と思ったほうが良い。 乗客はほとんどがインド人。 行きも帰りもこのバス停に発着し、ウォーターサーバーがあるエアコンが効いた室内（プレハブだけど）でバスを待てる。 バスは高速バスタイプで、ボロボロ。 バスは頻繁に停車して、ニズワに行くまで道路を走ってる時間は半分弱。3人以上いるなら価格と所要時間のバランスからOTAXIで行くことも検討して良いと思う。タクシー運賃は16オマーン・リアルくらい（バハラだと36オマーン・リアルなので、さすがにバスかなと）。 ここへはOTAXIで行くと思うけど、名称指定でちゃんと乗り場へ行ってくれる。 また、バスステーションの東にある公園は南北に抜けられる。Googleマップのルートには出ないけど、そこを抜ければアザイバの街で買い物や食事が可能。

Good prices. You need good mindset! 1 - Good services intercity and whitin Muscat. 2. The Mwasalat app does not accept foreign credit card for transactions. 3. You can buy tiket at Azaiba bus station with your credit card or cash. Buy your return tiket if possible. You can buy tiket on bus, but prepare exact change to help the driver. 4 On intercity bus, be there 30 minutes before the time, bus can be in advance. 5 . For intercity, the bus can be cancelled whitout notice, rare event but possible. So have cash for a taxi. 6. For Mascate city bus, the passages is regular but does not follow the official schedule. 7. It can happen. You waited 30 minutes for a bus and the coming bus does not stop. The bus driver waves at you. 8. Alwoys look for the exact bus stop location on google maps. There will be a red post written bus stop. This is the only place buses will stop.

オマーンの各地に行くことができるバスステーションです。ニズワに行くのに利用しました。待合室はトイレとウォーターサーバーがある簡易的な事務所みたいな感じです。大体どこに行くんだって聞かれるので、旅程表は用意しておきましょう。

Took a bus from Muscat to Sur from Azaiba bus station. I booked the ticket from Mwasalat website and the process was smooth. Bus stand was clean, bus started on time, bus driver was very helpful and we talked during a break time about where he was from and when he came to Kerala, India. Bus fares are reasonable and bus seats were comfortable too.

Azaiba bus station is very crowded. All the buses are not following traffic rules. Some of the drivers are stopping the bus on the way and they are making traffic block. Comfort station not hygiene at all. bus operators are care less hand baggages.

Waiting room so comfort...toilet is clean

There are buses from this bus station to most major cities in Oman. I have taken this bus to Bidiyah and also back from Nizwa. If you did not book your tickets in advance, you can purchase them directly from the driver. They accept both cash and credit cards which is really convenient.

Helpful staff, indoor waiting area for hot days. They accept Visa card. The bus from Muscat to Salalah is 8 riyal. The indoor waiting area is a little small.

Recently I had visited Salalah, came from India on 19th February for a month stay with my sister and brother in law. We came to Muscat and another flight to Salalah. Salalah is a beautiful cosmopolitan city having hills, sea shores, lovely weather along with beautiful markets. Yesterday I took a Govt Bus (Mwassalat) to Muscat. That was a 12 hours long journey during night but extremely comfortable and enjoyable. Got return bus tickets only at 13 OMR which is nearer to 2000 indian rupees. Salalah to Muscat flights are very costly. Might be more than 10 times higher than bus. Bus stopped at small markets, towns and restaurant at regular interval. I enjoyed the journey very much. Yes I took boarded the bus from this market nearer to my sister's place at Salalah. Driwers of the bus were very expert. They were quite friendly to the co passengers. Front seats were reserved for lady passengers. Very safe and comfortable for women even traveling alone. I must appreciate the lovely services of Mawasalat. Full marks to them

Azaiba Bus Station is a well-known transport hub connecting major cities and near by countries through Mwasalat transport company. It’s a well organized bus stand. The only drawback is the limited number of passenger waiting sheds, Overall, it's a practical and efficient spot for long-distance travelers. Booking the bus tickets in advance will be good for long distance passengers. Bus timings are outstanding.

Azaiba Bus Station is a key transit point in Muscat with frequent buses to major routes. It’s easy to access, affordable, and reliable for passengers. Bus station facilities are basic but usable. You can catch buses from Azaiba to Sharjah and Abu Dhabi

Звідси відправляється більшість (або всі) міжміські автобуси з Маската. Квитки можна купити на місці, закладайте на покупку хвилин 10, можна платити карткою. Є туалет. В автобусах іноді буває робочий WiFi, як пощастить. В цілому, нічого дуже особливого, але функцію свою виконує добре.

2026年1、2月時点でNizwaニズワまで2.5 OMR。ニズワフォートに近いSaal Pedestrian Bridge (Towards Bahla)行きを購入すると便利。　マスカット　Bahlaバハラ間は３OMR。　こっちもバハラフォート着や発が便利です。

Extremely Disappointed – Unprofessional and Unhelpful Service I had a very distressing experience with this company. I lost my bag in their bus trunk, which contained important personal items, including a hard drive, money, and other belongings. The worst part is that after reporting the incident, they kept postponing opening the cameras to identify who might have taken it. They even asked me to provide a police letter before they would look into it which I provided, yet despite multiple visits and requests, no real effort was made to review the footage. I was told that the operations staff was "looking into it," but no one seemed to know anything about my bag, my face, or the shape of my luggage. It’s been a constant runaround with zero follow-up or resolution. I’m deeply disappointed in the lack of action and the unprofessional handling of my case. I trusted them with my belongings, and they did nothing to help recover them or even investigate. This has been a frustrating and stressful experience, and I would not recommend using their service.

For long drives seats should be reclining and soft.i feel current seat position is little uncomfortable for senior passengers . And seats should be reserved for them .

The staff at Azaiba Bus Station are generally helpful and do their best to assist passengers with their queries. The connectivity to various parts of the city and beyond is quite good, making it a convenient location for travelers.

Toilet / washroom need more attention. Staff os mice, Bus leave to destination on time.

Today it was third time that the driver didn’t stop the bus at ministry of Housing. I am a regular customer who is using the bus from Ruwi to Al khuwair ministry of Housing In the evening. Usually I take the bus around 7 pm.
