Visited the beautiful during my Lahore to Karachi journey in May 2026. The station felt peaceful, calm, and surprisingly clean. The well-maintained environment and organized atmosphere made the travel experience much more comfortable. It was refreshing to see such improvement in Pakistan Railways. The newly upgraded building is excellent and resembles a large fortress with a color scheme of brick and white domes, reminiscent of Mughal architecture. The station is fully staffed and equipped with advanced reservation facilities. Additionally, food stalls are conveniently located on the platforms. Excellent new building recently upgraded. The building looks like a big fort. The color scheme is bricks color and white domes which gives a mughlai architecture looks. Transit is also available 24 hrs. However, waiting area needs to be opened properly for the passengers. The parking area is small for the station which needs to be upgraded. Overall a really great upgrade from old to new building.

تاریخی پس منظر: بہاولپور ریلوے اسٹیشن برطانوی دور میں تعمیر کیا گیا، جب ریلوے نظام پورے ہندوستان میں پھیل رہا تھا۔ یہ اسٹیشن خاص طور پر بہاولپور ریاست کے نوابوں کی ضروریات کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے بنایا گیا تھا۔ اس کا طرزِ تعمیر اس وقت کے مغلیہ اور برطانوی فنِ تعمیر کا حسین امتزاج ہے۔ اسٹیشن کے اندرونی اور بیرونی ڈیزائن میں روایتی خوبصورتی جھلکتی ہے، جو آج بھی قابلِ دید ہے۔ میری سفری روداد: میں نے 4 دسمبر 2024 کو اوکاڑہ سے بہاولپور کا سفر کیا۔ سفر کے لیے میں نے اکانومی کلاس کا ٹکٹ 1200 روپے میں لیا، جبکہ بزنس کلاس کا ٹکٹ 1500 روپے کا تھا۔ سفر کے دوران ٹرین کا معیار بہت زیادہ اچھا نہیں تھا، لیکن جب بہاولپور اسٹیشن پر پہنچا تو اس کی خوبصورتی اور ماحول نے میری تھکن دور کر دی۔ بہاولپور ریلوے اسٹیشن کی خصوصیات: 1. صاف ستھرا ماحول: اسٹیشن کا ماحول بہت صاف ستھرا اور منظم تھا۔ عملہ بھی خوش اخلاق تھا، جو آپ کو ایک آرام دہ تجربہ فراہم کرتا ہے۔ 2. خوبصورت ڈیزائن: اسٹیشن کی عمارت کا ڈیزائن دیکھ کر اندازہ ہوتا ہے کہ اس کی تعمیر میں خاص خیال رکھا گیا ہے۔ 3. مسافروں کی سہولتیں: پلیٹ فارم پر بیٹھنے کے لیے آرام دہ بنچز موجود ہیں۔ کھانے پینے کے اسٹالز اور ایک چھوٹا کیفے بھی موجود ہے جہاں مسافر اپنا وقت آرام سے گزار سکتے ہیں۔ چائے کا ذائقہ خاص طور پر بہترین تھا، جو میں نے اسٹیشن پر انجوائے کیا۔ 4. پرامن ماحول: اسٹیشن پر کوئی رش یا بے ترتیبی نظر نہیں آئی۔ میں نے وہاں کافی وقت گزارا اور ماحول سے لطف اندوز ہوا۔ تجویز: اگر آپ بہاولپور کا سفر کر رہے ہیں تو ریلوے اسٹیشن کا وزٹ ضرور کریں۔ اس کی خوبصورتی اور سکون آپ کو ایک یادگار تجربہ فراہم کرے گا۔ یہاں بیٹھ کر چائے پینا اور اپنے آس پاس کے ماحول کا مشاہدہ کرنا ایک منفرد لطف دیتا ہے۔ نوٹ: بہاولپور اسٹیشن پر میرے وقت گزارنے کا تجربہ بہت خوشگوار تھا اور میں سب کو یہی مشورہ دوں گا کہ اگر آپ پاکستان ریلوے کا سفر کر رہے ہیں تو بہاولپور اسٹیشن کی خاص باتوں کو ضرور دیکھیں۔

I had a good experience at Bahawalpur Railway Station. The station is easy to find and fairly well organized. The waiting area was comfortable, and staff were helpful when I needed information. It was a bit crowded, but overall the environment felt safe and manageable. A decent place for travel with good train connections.

Beautiful railway station. Nicely constructed. Not like any other old railway station. This is newly constructed and it is nice place. There are rest rooms, washrooms, etc. I really like this Pakistani railway station 🚉 One of the beautiful ❤️ railway station of Pakistan.
