Basal Railway Station is a very nice place for rail passengers. It is situated at Attock - Multan section as well as Rawalpindi - Multan section. It is a junction station. One direction for Rawalpindi, 2nd direction for Attock, Peshawar and Rawalpindi, and 3rd direction for Mianwali, Multan and Kohat.

A small but we'll maintained railway station in this area. Public in this area uses local trains on daily basis between Jand, Mianwali and Attock city.
