Nice place to hang out with friends and family. If you are cyclists and want to repair your cycle and have a good food and drinks, you are In perfect place. They have a cycle repair store in ground floor and first floor is for restaurants. You can find all kind of drinks in here and you can order fast food in here. They also have a live music and now a days World Cup. Main thing is restaurants is open, means not totally open, you get the feeling of you are having you food and drinks on a terrace. Coffee over here is great, i recommend because I am a coffee guy. Just go and have a good time .

Basecamp is a bar I’ve been haunting for years. It is not the kind of spot that screams for attention. It hums. Low and steady, like a favorite tune you forgot you knew. It is more than a bar. It is a rusty, old sanctuary.

Like some of the best bars in the world, this place looks like a dive. It's got no lighting in parts, no music when it's not live and it's open to the elements. It's really just a roof over a concrete platform. But Base Camp is so much better than the fancy bars that pop up everywhere. This is a bar for people who like atmosphere and get togethers with great people and live music. For people who prefer substance over form. I love the fact that you can't tell the difference between the barman and the clientele. They are of one spirit. No false divisions here. A band of brothers. First time I came here I met some awesome Nepali writers. This time the place is empty but the atmosphere is still good. It's authentic, that's the word that sums it up. As Arnie says, I'll be back.

Simple bar with great energy; ideal for winding down. The band's eclectic sound enhances the overall mood. The food is simple; the plating may use some work, but the flavor is excellent. It comes highly recommended.

Best bar in Nepal with a great flight for beer tasting. Beers on tap were delicious, especially the fruit beer. Must try!

FUNTASTIC place! A place to bring your gang of friends or just be there yourself to chill out. Music is great and lighting gets you into the mood quickly. The guys behind the bar counter are always happy to mix you a cocktail if you cant make up your mind - ask for the one that glows! Great atmosphere!

No other place like basecamp!!! It’s my best bar to go to when I’m in lalitpur. The place serves the most variety of beer especially Barasinge beer. The venue hosts lots of musical events renowned artists. It’s a perfect place to chill with friends. The place offers in house cafe & mountain bike workshop. The staff give you a rockstar service.

The people matter here more than the place sometimes. Check out which event goes on when. Lovely place to hang out with a gin and live music amidst good friends. You can get food downstairs.

This place is a hidden gem in this area especially for expats who love biking, coffee, and beer. They have a mountain bike repair shop on the ground floor and the cafe is next to the shop on the same floor. This cafe serves the usual coffee options and light breakfast items as well. The first floor/terrace has all the draught collection of Nepali beer, Barasinghe. They do serve whiskey band wine and have a limited food option from the restaurant on the ground floor, which is at the back of the building.

Limited food and drink options. They are always running out of beer for some reason. Used to be a nice hangout place before but quality has degraded significantly.
