Basilic Идеальное место для отдыха! Отличный отель с потрясающей атмосферой. Нам понравилось абсолютно всё: от теплого приема на стойке регистрации до интерьера номеров. Кровати очень удобные, постельное белье белоснежное, а звукоизоляция на высоте — удалось отлично выспаться после долгих прогулок. Завтраки были очень вкусными и разнообразными, на любой вкус. Огромное спасибо всей команде отеля за заботу и гостеприимство. Наш отпуск прошел великолепно!

We had a lovely stay at Basilic and found the team extremely friendly and welcoming! The rooms are beautifully designed, clean and really comfortable. Breakfast offers different options every day including fresh fruits and vegetables. The location is great, in a quiet side street only a short walk from the old center! Great quality for the price.

In my opinion, Hotel Basilic is one of the best hotels in Bukhara. While it’s not located directly on the main road, it’s just about 50 meters inside, making it quiet yet very accessible. The hotel is ideally situated near all major attractions, including the famous Mullah Nasruddin statue. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying, but the real highlight of this hotel is the staff. They were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. I’ve visited many countries and stayed in various hotels, but I’ve never experienced such warm hospitality. Even after checkout, they kept our baggage safely until our flight time, which was a great help. The hotel is newly renovated and beautifully decorated, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. If you're planning a trip to Bukhara, I highly recommend considering Hotel Basilic.

I made a reservation at this establishment due to a lack of options resulting from the last minute nature of my booking. Unfortunately, when I inquired about the cost of my stay, the staff informed me that the price was approximately 60 SGD for two nights, which converts to about $48 USD. They then mentioned an additional charge for GST. The following day, upon my return, I was informed by the staff that I had been undercharged, as the cost for one night was actually $50 USD. I was told that no hotel charges less than $50 per night. In contrast, I had stayed in Khiva for two nights for roughly $60 USD. It is evident that only the manager has the ability to verify pricing, and it would be prudent for the manager to communicate any such details to the staff prior to addressing clients. Furthermore, it would be advantageous to have staff available during the evening hours, especially when guests are checking in. I experienced a wait of less than 15 minutes. On a positive note, I found the room to be clean and aesthetically pleasing. Despite a few aspects that I did not appreciate, I would like to extend my gratitude to the staff member who was particularly helpful.

Wir waren nun 3 Nächte hier und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Personal ist sehr nett und freundlich und versucht überall zu helfen wo es nur geht. Die Lage ist optimal, man ist direkt an der Altstadt und kann alles zu Fuß erreichen. In der Nähe sind sehr gute Restaurants und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Das Hotel hat sich von der Sommerresidenz des Emirs inspirieren lassen und sieht sehr gut aus. Ich würde wieder hierhin kommen und werde es meinen Freunden weiterempfehlen.

YOU MUST BE CAREFULL... THIS HOTEL IS DISHONEST AND UNTRUSTWORTHY! We booked our stay 45 days in advance, but just 20 days before arrival, the hotel kept sending cancellation requests through Booking.com, claiming “internal issues.” That was a complete lie. They only wanted to cancel our booking so they could raise the price—and they did! The same room was increased by 150% after they pushed us to cancel. This behavior is unacceptable and feels like a scam. I have already reported them to Booking.com. My advice: Avoid this hotel at all costs—especially families and solo female travelers. It is neither reliable nor safe.

Hôtel très bien situé, au calme, décoration somptueuse, petit-déjeuner très bon, personnel attentionné, literie confortable, chambre et salle de bain propres, chambre chauffée / climatisée, eau chaude, très beau patio.

hotel is good enough but specially muhsin (the receptionist) is really helpful,kind and hardworking. we have slept 12 at night and was still working, we have woke up at 7 and he’s still working. whatever we need he solved perfectly. if you go there absolutely find muhsin

A beautiful small and cozy hotel, in a very silent ally very close to the main attractions of Buchara. Very friendly staff, very uniquely decorated rooms. A very authentic vibe.

Right in the middle of old town with comfortable pillows and beds. Lots of interesting decorations in the rooms as well.

Отличный, новый отель. Интерьер в национальном стиле. Останавливались в огромном трехместном номере, где три отдельные полноценные кровати. Персонал приветливый. Часто гостей встречает хозяин. Любую проблему стараются помочь решить в одночасье. Отель расположен на тихой улочке в пешей доступности от Ляби Хауз и центра старого города, что очень удобно для неспешных вечерних прогулок.

Absolutely charming hotel from the inside with large, comfortable rooms, great breakfast and fast wi-fi. However, for some reason, the rooms feel hot all the time even with windows open and the location of the hotel is also quite weird (end of a pitch black alley, rather well hidden).

Una porquería! No lo recomiendo a nadie! Nos querían cobrar una toalla que se había ensuciado al limpiar la cara! Una toalla pequeña y que además raspaba! Igual que el papel higiénico. Nula calidad. Vergonzoso trato del propietario y empleados. Nunca he vivido nada igual.ademas con un desayuno infumable. Horroroso .deberían cerrar este hotel

We booked it last minute as they had extra room we needed. The location is very convenient and central with a walking distance to the historical center, but with a very narrow street (this is normal for historical center) so reaching with a taxi or car could be an issue and you will have to walk 1 min from the central street. The breakfast was fine as well as the rooms' size. Most of the staff do not speak English or even Russian, but they were all very nice and accommodating and tried their best to communicate, though they understood most of the time what we needed or asked. The Wi-Fi was very unstable that was annoying. The room amenities are rather very basic compared to other hotels in Bukhara e.g., no bottled water in the room, no extra toilet paper, no boiler or tea, etc. Some rooms' design on the pictures are nicer than what we found in some rooms. The insulation is close to zero and we could hear the crying toddler several days and nights. Overall it seemed like a hotel with a great idea, but with rather poor execution or maintenance.
