You can get mrts trains for Tambaram, Guduvanchery, Chengalpattu, Velachery, Ambattur from this station. Ac local also runs in those lines. A lot if renovation is going on right now, so it is very messy as of now

Very worst situation. On the name of renovation troubling all types of passengers. No need to mention how old age passengers will manage. Platforms and entrance is very worst see how the entrance of beach station is. Very pathetic for the passengers carrying luggage. Apart from all these , AUTO PEOPLE WILL OBSTRUCT THE ENTRANCE FOR THE PASSENGERS TO MOVE-In or MOVE-Out . Need to avoid AUTO PEOPLE FROM THE ENTRANCE OF THE STATION.

No facility for travelers with difficulty. Miles and miles to walk to board AC coaches. Horrible time trying to get cab / auto after coming out of the station. Even if the arrangement is temporary, railways should look into difficulty of passengers and provide some arrangement to reach the coaches.

It was good place to visit, then here railway station available, here from, we travel Chennai beach station to St Thomas Mount station through local train, More over we can also travel to Chengalpattu. For more information visit gov official website. Thank you

One facility we liked a lot is the lift facility. Most railway stations have overbridges to go to other platforms and its tedious to carry suitcases on stairs but here they have lifts too. I do hope all railway stations across the country do this.

Need drinking water and restroom fesilities in platforms. And platforms needs escalators.

Renovation work is going on The station connecting the Marina beach, Barma Bazar, Parrys Corner and the High Court of Chennai

No basic amenities available. No boards showing direction to ticket counter or exit. No bus connectivity after getting out from the station.

Beach station is a railway junction connects Vellore to Tambaram directions which is a very important junction.

Currently under renovation. No parking space and no entry for vehicles. Even main road is very narrow and heavy traffic jam at peak hours.

I would say alot is needed to improve this station in all the aspects. When I entered the station from what I understood as main gate, it was total mess, not even the plaster work on the group was properly done. Due to rain there were waterlogging I could see just around ticket counters. No clear indicator. Cleaning is on toss, I don't know what else, but some serious work is definitely needed to make this railway station as beautiful and convenient like any Metro stations.

Needs escalator service for mobility across platforms. Toilets need to be maintained cleanly. Drinking water service not adequate.

Not clean and need to be constructed properly. Need safety for people and doesn't have proper schedule time

Trains to velachery, tambram, chenhalpattu, Arakkonam are available from here. Some trains like charminar express stops here. Some platforms in the Station are under renovation. Station is not very clean but ok considering the railway standards. Foot over bridge access available. Not much food available but drinking water can be bought from irctc near counter.

The local trains are frequently available. However, since the station is under construction we'll need to walk to the other end to get tickets.

Underrenovation. No basic needs counters. Better to carry a water bottle handy

Good station with self booking and normal booking counters that helps in fast queue movement

Not a station, a warehouse No flooring No platform for express trains You've to walk with your luggage in unfinished platform, even if it rains

It's clean but there is a lot of room for improvement. Drinking water area doesn't give the cleanliness vibe. The ticketing counters are efficient and helpful. I wish there was an electronic display for departures on the platform which prevents people from unnecessarily rushing between them as one isn't a fixed platform for the departure destination.

Easy access from main road, the station is under development into a bigger station
