Sun Kissed Holiday Homes is a fantastic place to stay, especially for beach lovers. The best part is its amazing location—just 20 meters from the beach! You can step out of your room and be on the sand in seconds. The rooms are spacious and well-maintained, with air conditioning and hot water available, making the stay comfortable. The property is quite large, giving a nice open feel. One of the highlights was sitting at the beachfront restaurant with a chilled beer, enjoying the beautiful ocean view. Also, a special mention to Pratik, the owner—he’s a great guy who ensures everything runs smoothly. Definitely a great spot to relax and enjoy the beach!

Booked this stay for 2 nights and 3 days for 4 adults through Booking.com, as it was listed as suitable for 4 adults. However, upon arrival, all hopes for a pleasant stay quickly disappeared. The electricity was off during both nights, and while there was a power backup for the fan and light, the fan ran at a very low speed, and the regulator wasn’t working to increase it. There was no window for ventilation to help cool the room during power outages, and although there was an AC, it was useless without power. We barely slept on the first night due to the heat and slow fan speed. On the second night, we requested an additional table fan, which helped us sleep slightly better compared to the first night. Although there was a geyser, it was of no use as we couldn’t get hot water when needed. The bathroom was in poor condition. Only 2 people could sleep on the bed, while the other 2 had to sleep on the floor. There was no drinking water facility, and locals were charging extra for water bottles. We were also charged ₹200 for car parking by the locals, even though Booking.com mentioned free parking. Additionally, the stay had no balcony, although it was listed as having one. Overall, I would strongly recommend avoiding this property and booking a better option.

We had a fantastic time at ‘Sun Kisses Holidays home’ . The amenities were top-notch, and the service was impeccable. The location was perfect for exploring the city. Its not a beach resort at all. Only a plus point is Mr. Pratik. Online facility showing free drinking water but no water available in premises. When we called Pratik, he gently provides water bottles without argument. Wifi not working. Oozing water from Tab. Room and toilets were dirty. Door Locks are not proper. No storage available to keep your luggage. We booked non AC room in cold season but his room service man provides single blanket for two Guest when we took charge. No room service available after that till next morning. You are on your own once you enters in room. Premises are very dirty. Parking facility not available. Beach is just 200 steps but no beach view from room site. Plus point is you will have good hot water for 24 hours.

Sun Kissed Home Stay is clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The peaceful surroundings and homely atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay😊👍

It’s not a beach view at all; the view is completely obstructed by buildings. We initially planned to stay here for 4 days but ended up leaving after just 1 day. We were charged ₹5,500 for a single room, and to our dismay: 1. The water from the taps was brown. 2. The sinks were filthy, dusty, and covered in cobwebs. 3. The advertised beach view is misleading; there’s no proper view at all. 4. The Wi-Fi doesn’t work either inside or outside the room. The fair price of the room should be 1100 to 1600 and it should be no more than that. I strongly recommend walking in and checking out other properties nearby you'll get better deals. If you really wanna enjoy night life please stay near the gokarana main beach or Om beach. The vibe of this area near purple stay or sunkissed was literally dead at night that too during the new year time and even during day it was mostly empty. The one good point about sunkissed stay was they gave us early chevk-in and Prateek refunded our advance money which was 1100.

My experience here was good. Especially mentioning the owner prateek he was very kind to us. A good cooperating man .

We had an incredible stay at this home. The host's hospitality was exceptional, and the cozy ambiance made us feel at home. It was the worst hotel booking I have ever done in my life . Don’t go by their hotel pics Don’t go by the description We booked after talking to a person called Prateek he told 2 AC rooms are booked but when we arrived at the Google location no one was there. When called They said your booking is from next day. We even have called them before we boarded the train we were to arrive on 2nd June. I am reiterating it was the worst ever booking as our family had to leave stranded at 5.30 AM for at least 2 hours before we got a good place . I would also say it was blessing in disguise as we have not stayed at Sunkissed

Very nice Homestay very near to beach

Recently I got a chance to stay here during my holidays and it was a par experience. From the moment we arrived until departure, the staff exceeded expectations. Rooms were spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Friendly, accommodating staff, willing to help with a smile.

We booked this well before one month.. on day of arrival they call n said rooms r full so v r giving u another resort... tat was nature stay n it was pathetic... package was part of breakfast n dinner... but wen we went to have brkfast at 10 am, Dey r saying v jus got up can't prepare any breakfast...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sun kissed holiday homes and wanted to share my experience. The location of the Homestay is worth mentioning situated just 100m from the beach which offered a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life. Rooms are very well maintained, they also offer tent stays. Special thanks to Prateek Goankar for the warm welcome and the hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend the stay to anyone looking for a memorable and peaceful experience.

Guys...sharing this review so that other don't get scammed. And even I was surprised seeing the other reviews 😅 Those must be paid ones for certain. And if you still want to go ahead, all the best 😁 I regularly travel (I have been to Gokarna 4 times) and this is undoubtedly the worst stay I have ever been to, anywhere for that matter. I have got nothing against the owner or people there. All were friendly. It's all about the stay. A small room with a bathroom for 6.5k. Yes, it's just 100 meters away from the beach. But I would never again stay in a place like that. Literally a dungeon. I had to stay there just coz it was season time and didn't have an alternative. Yes, the guy did give me a discount of 1.5k (No, not because I complained. Because if I did, I wouldn't know where to start.) And I wouldn't even pay 1.5k for a place like that. Just putting this out here so that others don't get scammed. It was just a small room with a bathroom. Ants were all over that small room. Not clean either. Thank me later. AND GIVING 1 🌟 just coz I don't have an option to give a negative rating.

One cannot take the car all the way to the homestay, you have to walk through fields and barbed wire fences to reach the place. Paid car parking available charges Rs.300 per day but is not safe. Our car was damaged while parked there. Not worth the money we paid. Only saving grace is the easy access to the beach.

I visited Gokarna recently and I stayed at the accomdation by Sun Kissed Holiday Homes. Their hospitality was top notch and they were kind to me in every sense. When I wasn't able to locate them as I was coming for the first time, they sent someone to guide me to their stay. It's just few steps from the Gokarna main beach and it is their highlight. Surely would recomend anyone who visits Gokarna to stay here.

Had an Awesome experience staying . Most humble and caring owners and staff , they provide everything we ask and try to do their best in fulfilling our expectation . The place was very clean and tidy , also very close to the beach .The staff and owners consider safety the most prior and made us most comfortable with privacy .

Worst place to stay in gokarna. No water in room taps are not working properly no power no wifi owner misleads the people who books the room using online. the stay is encircled with sewage water line the please avoid the stay
