The Bedouin Store

Visited this place last night. Bethlehem is an amazing city. I love it. And the Bedouin Store is such a nice place. Stayed and chatted for a long time; such lovely people. I purchased a Hebron glass pitcher and a set of glasses. The experience and the beauty of what I purchased sparked much joy in my heart.

Madja Amro is such a kind heart. I met him serveral times in 2014-2015 and he helped me getting taxis to a cave remotely next to settlements. When looking up Bethelem now on Maps, i searched for this store now because he had a big impact on me. That shows that he is not simply a "store owner". Thank you again for your kindness! :) If you ever visit Bethlehem, please take a look here. You wont regret.

This little shop is the heart of Bethlehem. And Majdi, the owner, keeps the heart beating. He will offer you a warm smile, a hot cup of coffee and many stories about the land and its peoples. And of course, he also offers beautiful ceramics, olive wood carvings, clothes, cosmetics and lots of leather sandals (mine lasted seven years and I wore them every summer). When you visit Bethlehem, you must visit Majdi's Bedouin Store. He has honest and fair prices, all the advice you need and will make you feel welcome in Bethlehem and the Holy Land. Majdi also ships abroad. The shop is located a little bit down the street from Paradise Hotel, on the same side as the hotel.

The owner was extremely friendly. He asked us where we were from and I said Minnesota. He told me he had been to Fargo, Minneapolis, St. Paul and did some snowmobiling in Minnesota. He had pictures with some prominent individuals in Minnesota as well. He made us tea and gave us much of his time. I highly recommend stopping in. He has some very nice gifts in his small shop.

Majdi Amro is the owner who always has a smile on his face and is welcoming his guest with a cup of arabic coffee. Not only does he have the best prices in town, its the hospitality that will keep you coming back.

Lovely place. Fair prices, and the owner is extremely nice! He invited me to drink coffee and after buying he gave me a gift because I told him I was getting married.
