Mirpur Beribadh stands on the bank of the river Turag, which is still very much alive and flowing. It's on your left as you approach the Botanical Garden. Getting to the Beribadh is quite easy. One can ride a bus, hire a CNG or even get on a rickshaw from Mirpur-1 and in less than half an hour you can be at the Beribadh.

The Beribadh offers quite a few interesting activities but the tranquil walk is probably the one to appreciate the most. It is recommended that you arrive at the Beribadh before sunset to revel in the cool afternoon breeze and a great view on your walk.

আমার বাসা মিরপুরে এই বেরিবাধে যেতে আমার ৩০ মিনিট সময় লাগে জ্যামের কারনে। সময় বেশি লাগে তাই অনেক দিন ধরে যাচ্ছিলাম না। আজ অনেক দিন পর গিয়ে দেখলাম পরিবেশ আগের থেকে অনেক পরিবর্তন হয়েছে। বাধগুলো খুব সুন্দর করে সাজানো হয়েছে। কিছুদূর সামনে গেলে নৌকায় পার হবার সুন্দর ব্যবস্থা আছে। সব কিছু মিলিয়ে একদিন নদী দেখার জন্য একটি দারুণ জায়গা।

সূর্যাস্ত দেখার জন্য সুন্দর একটি জায়গা। নদী ও সূর্য উভয়মিলে ভালোই লাগে বসে থাকার জন্য এবং সময় কাটানোর জন্য। চাইলে নৌকা দিয়ে ভ্রমণ করতে পারেন ভালো লাগবে অতো টাও ভাড়া বেশি নাহ। খারাপ দিক হিসেবে নদীর পানিতে গন্ধ থাকে মাঝমধ্যে। প্রচুর পরিমানে ছাপড়ি আর টোকাই পরিবেশটা নস্ট করে রাখসে। পরিবার নিয়ে গেলে সাবধানতা অবলম্বন করবেন। A beautiful place to watch the sunset. River and Sun both are good for sitting and spending time. If you want, you can travel by boat, it will be nice and the fare is low. As a downside, river water sometimes has a bad smell. A lot of chapris and sneaky people are up the environment. Be cautious when taking family.

A very good place to visit. Many people gather . Can be floated by boat. Unfortunately, the truth is that, the water in the river is dirty and bad smelly🥹
