Biryani By Kilo - Mysore

I had faced an issue I have ordered Veg Hyderabadi Dum Biryani and I have paid very fair amount almost 300+ rupees and they have sent less quantity and they have sent burnt biryani they have done this because it was ordered on night who cares somehow we would get our money from the order , They have cheated the customer and didn't do fair and faithful service for the amount they taken. Totally not satisfied and next day manager had called me over phone and asked for deleting the review and he said he would compensate the loss but he never did it and there was no polite response to the request. I feel it's totally unfair and I strongly don't recommend this place there are many other good tasty biryani places are there for ordering and dining in Mysore .

Ordered through Zomato, a Nizami chicken biriyani. Very disappointed with the order. The 750g bucket has mostly rice and only 2 very small, bony chicken pieces. Not worth the price; this feels like daylight cheating. Photos are attached.

Phew! I went in with absolutely no expectations but this place filled up my tummy, we went as a group of 6 and had a blast since the restaurant was empty and was for ourselves, so in terms of the atmosphere, I'd say it's a solid 8 for the looks and feel, and if it garners crowd, it could be a winner in the area. Our group ordered a 3KG Biryani, 750ml of veg biryani, few naans, paneer masala and dal makhni. The food was extremely delicious barring the main USP. The biryani! It had absolutely no spice and was a disappointment, although we ordered a large quantity of it, we had to pack it all up because of the taste. In fact, I would go as far as saying that the 'side' dishes were much better in taste. The staff was extremely limited but very polite and there is no parking for cars, the main parking area was occupied with scooters from food delivery partners. Overall, I might go once more just to have the naans and a gravy, but there are plenty of options in Mysore for similar food.

Excellent biryani suits the taste of Hyderabadis also. Not over spicy, not bland. Perfect taste and texture. Enjoyed the food. Ambience is also good.

Dear friends, don't even think of dining here. If you crave too much for biryani then check Behrauz but not this. More of any gravy or bread will be a nightmare for you. Highly over priced and worst taste and quantity. I can bet to any one that even road side outlet will serve millions time better food than here.

Biryani by kilo located near Mathru Mandali school is a highly recommended place if you're looking for a traditional biryani. This place serves varieties of biryani where some of them are cooked in a pot. We tried boneless chicken biryani and Veg Hyderabadi biryani which was tasty and spicy. They have a well maintained ambience too. Overall it's a must try place. Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambience - 5/5

The order was a biryani and a 65. The briyani wasn't that good, the spices were imbalanced. It was the worst 65 I've ever had in my life. So I prefer you to not to go with this restaurant . Totally dissatisfied

This biryani was a bit different than the others I've had in terms of taste. Where one layer gave you a heavy kick of spice , the other gave you the bland taste of boiled rice. The meat is cooked to perfection but overall doesn't give you a very well satisfying experience

veg panner and khathyil biriyani take away was nicely packed in handi and cooked within it. it is one of the best biriyani. As instructed Chef Madhu had cooked very nicely. All of the guests liked it.

Biryani by Grams should be their name. Ordered a mutton biryani and got 2 tiny pieces, not even cooked, like rubber, and it's called Nizami biryani. Worst experience. Never order from here.

Utterly waste! I’m highly not recommending this pathetic hotel for everyone and I’m shocked by seeing the quality of pots how they were maintaining. Now the food first of all the waiters are the managers. If you order something I will say sir it is of Rs.200 per will give only three pieces in that so we will get Prasad instead of the food for the amount which you are paying. The food is so so so less in quantity, not even one person can eat maximum and the prices are skyrocketing. The only good thing or that restaurant is the quality of their tissue papers. We went to the restaurant in the afternoon and the AC was shut down. It was dam hot When we asked to turn on the AC. It was turned on the other side of where we were not sitting, finally, worst restaurant, what is food Bose service and worst I ambience. If you want to spend money on tissue paper you can enjoy..!

One of the worst restaurants in Mysore you could ever go to. You will definitely not go to this place twice as you would be fed up in the first visit itself. They serve very less quantity (5 very small pieces of Chicken) for 300 Rupees. Water bottle is charged 100 Rupees. The place turns the AC on only when the customer comes in and usually will be really hot in there. None of the food items satisfies you. The only one thing I was happy about was the quality of their tissue papers. Rest all are complete disappointment. If someone you hate is giving you a treat, go to this place. If you are spending your own money, say no this place. We were completely disappointed. Bad service, Average ambience, Worst quantity , below average quality food and A very very high Price.

I decided to order from this restaurant after hearing many positive reviews. I chose the mutton Hyderabadi dum biryani, which came in a lovely clay pot with raita, chutney and salad. I enjoyed the presentation and the taste of the dish. I also had the tandoori chicken, which was succulent, tender and flavorful. It was a satisfying meal.

Never ever go to this place. Waste of time and money. Okish ambience and over pricy food with less quantity. Had ordered hyderabadi dum biryani and Bangalore kabab. Biryani for 400 bucks was very dry and they didn't even provide sherva when asked. They said they only provide raitha. Bangalore kabab for 300 was no better compared to any local vendor selling chicken kababs. They took around 20 minutes to serve the food. Also other starters like gunter chicken costs around 300 bucks and they said it comes with only three pieces. Overall poor experience and one star is just for the restaurant decor.

Food no teast. Hand wash not working there are use washroom. Water bottle Rs. 79/- Over cost money weast. Shop name biryani by kilo but served 750 g only...

It's not food, but paint... too much color in every dish... taste is just fake... no authentic dishes at all... will never eat here. Even my fingers became red, and the color is not washing away... Please, people, focus on hygiene and health... government banned cotton candy for the little colors they use... Actually why do you guys put colors in chicken dishes? Yuk...

There’s is no such restaurant in this location. We had visited and searched for more than 30 minutes nearby area, after that we had to go to a different place. This is an incorrect location published by the restaurant. 👎🏻

I had ordered egg biryani from this restaurant. The taste and packaging was very good . The biryani was mild and flavourful. Really appreciate the way they had sent raita and salad along with biryani.
