Great Food and Ambiance, with Standout Prawns – Worth a Visit!
We visited Blue Fox in Kompally for lunch recently, and overall, it was a pleasant experience that left us impressed with the food quality. From the moment we arrived, the reception team greeted us warmly and efficiently guided us to a suitable table, making us feel welcome right away.
The ambiance is one of the highlights – it's surprisingly quiet for a restaurant in this area, with elegant dark wooden furniture and crisp white table linens that give it a sophisticated yet comfortable feel. The lighting is subdued, creating a relaxed and intimate atmosphere perfect for a leisurely meal.
After settling in and browsing the extensive menu, we ordered Apollo Fish as a starter, followed by Mutton Do Pyaza, Prawns Masala, and some soft rotis. Every dish was exceptionally tasty, fresh, and juicy. The Apollo Fish was crispy and flavorful, the Mutton Do Pyaza was rich and tender with perfectly balanced spices, and the rotis were hot and fluffy. But the absolute standout was the Prawns Masala – the prawns were cooked to perfection, succulent and bursting with flavor. As someone who's often cautious about ordering prawns in Hyderabad restaurants (due to varying quality), I was blown away. These were even better than what we've had in coastal Andhra regions, where fresh seafood is the norm. Clearly, the chef and kitchen team know their craft well and use high-quality ingredients.
It was a memorable meal, and we'd definitely return for these dishes again. The only downside was a noticeable delay in serving the food, which could have been smoother. The serving team seems enthusiastic but might benefit from some improvements in coordination and speed to match the excellent kitchen standards.
Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Indian non-veg dishes in a nice setting!
