The British University in Dubai - BUiD

Recently participated in an excellently organized conference at this university. The academic environment was perfect for great engagement and productivity. Thank you to the organizers, professors and the entire university community for their dedication and hospitality!

I recently took my IELTS test at The British University in Dubai (BUiD), and the experience was exceptional from start to finish. The campus, located in Dubai International Academic City, is modern and well-equipped, providing a comfortable environment for test-takers. The staff were professional and courteous, ensuring that the entire process was smooth and stress-free. After the test, I visited the nearby food court across Block 11, which offered a variety of dining options to suit different tastes. Overall, BUiD provided a conducive and supportive setting for the IELTS examination, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning to take the test in Dubai. One observation, though — the student demographic at BUiD tends to lean toward those from well-off backgrounds. It’s not the kind of place where you often come across individuals who’ve had to work their way up from modest means; most students appear to be supported by their families financially.

It is a privilege to benefit from the insights of such an exceptional scholar and respected leader in his field.

Went here for my UKVI Life Skills exam. I arrived much earlier than my schedule and the staff were very kind and accommodating; they even helped arrange an earlier slot and kept our belongings safe during the test. The campus has a peaceful, international feel and is well maintained. Staff were friendly and welcoming, overall a smooth experience~!

I don’t recommend their proctoring center. They canceled my scheduled exam without my consent, even though everything had been confirmed in advance. I lost valuable time and had to deal with unnecessary stress and logistics issues because of their mistake. After filing an official complaint, the manager never apologized or took responsibility for ruining the exam experience. Very disappointing and unprofessional. I strongly advise others to choose a different proctoring center to avoid similar problems.

I have a lot of amazing memories studying here. High quality education and student supports and wide range of facilities. I would recommend BUiD to everyone to pursue their educational goals.

I want ask , if I will transfer credit for civil engineering from Ajman university to bristh university, dose score D will not be transferred, and why , this is not fair to repeat the module, I pass the physics D in ajman university means more than 60% why I have to repeat that again

Great place for a visitor. Easy to access and walk around. Took my IELTS test here. Outside university there are a number of cafes where you can hang out and have a cup of coffee if your speaking test is late.

I recently visited the university for an appointment and was truly amazed by how beautiful the university is, situated in the heart of Dubai, the location felt peaceful and serene to study in. World class facilities.

As i visited the university for some work and noticed, the university is very clean and well managed

It's a very good university. Semi Govt. Economical fees. Bachelor's, Masters and PhD in various branches of engineering like Ai, cybersecurity, mechanical, civil, electo mechanical, etc.

One of the best university, faculty is the heart and that's what should really matter you ... fell in love with its vibe , just 4 days a week , what else you want ... and one of the best management systems 🖤

Inconvenient parking. IELTS: Once you are in the listening/ reading/ writing test room, they don’t allow you to use washroom until you get through the listening and start reading; the timer is not suspended during the time you are out for satisfying your natural needs. If you book the test using the Emirates ID they don’t allow changing the results with a passport ID.

My Experience here amazing the best i thought im late but the staff here name kanchan she approach me calmly lady she so nice because i’m a first time to take test in this university I don’t have any Idea who people to deal with but im so amazing . Basil who’s the one who registered very nice guy kind and helpful always smile the people here. makes me happy. I've been there for my ielts test today. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. Specially Ma'am Puneet.

It’s a great university, the staff is amazing and very cooperative. Whatever email you send to any of faculty or staff members you will get a fast response, professors are very knowledgeable and they’ll help you as much as they can. Financially, they’re very understanding and helpful they will do their best to keep you on track. I’m almost done with my MBA course and I’ll for sure recommend it for others, I hope they get their own campus anytime soon as this college deserves a separate campus. I hope the college gets AASCB accreditation ASAP knowing that the application is already ongoing.
