Bukha Fort

Bukha fort is small yet beautiful one with FREE entry. Inside there are 5 rooms at ground floor and one at first floor are open to tourists. We can spend around 30 minutes there. There are parking in front of building. Opposite is sea and backside is mountain. Overall good location for photos.

We visited Bukha Fort while driving along the scenic coastal road to Khasab, it is situated just across the road from the beach and the location is very beautiful. While there is no entrance fee, the fort doesn't offer much in way of information on its history, the fort is completely empty and there was no one present at the time of our visit to give us a guided tour. It would have really enhanced the experience to know more about the history of the fort.

Das Fort zusehen war schön aber ansonsten ist in Khasab leider auch nicht viel. Würde den Ausflug nicht nochmal buchen. Wenn man alleine vom Schiff aus laufen darf dann das Fort und ggf. kurz zur Stadt und retoure. Kenne jedoch die Entfernung leider nicht da wir mit dem Bus unterwegs waren.

After visiting khasab fort, I could not find anything special here, it took me around 10 minutes to explore this small place, I recommend people to have a look the first thing before reaching khasab. No entrance fees in here

Das Fort ist, wie beinahe alle Forts im Oman, sehr stark renoviert. Man kann das Fort durchaus besuchen, es ist aber kein absolutes Muss.

قلعة أثرية بهية. علامة على صمود أهل بخاء في مجابهة الأعداء السابقين من الغزاة.

Molto bello e affascinante, somiglia molto al Khasab Castle. Tenuto molto bene.

تقع قلعة بخا في شبه جزيرة مسندم، وتمتاز بموقع استراتيجي, حيث يوجد البحر أمامها مباشرةً في خليج ساحر بينما ترتفع الجبال بشكل جميل فوقها، وقد تم بناء القلعة في القرن السادس عشر، ومرت عبر العديد من الترميمات والتجديدات، وقد لعبت دوراً هاماً في الحماية والتحصين عبر تاريخ السلطنة.

Quiet, Historic, and Underrated Located in the small town of Bukha, this fort offers coastal views and a look into Oman’s defensive architecture. Not as well-known as Khasab Castle, but charming and peaceful with beautiful sea vistas.
