Bukhara at Ajman Hotel Bukhara at the Ajman Hotel is more than just a restaurant; it is a masterclass in culinary heritage. As a faithful replication of the world-renowned original in New Delhi, it preserves the rugged charm and authentic flavors of the North-West Frontier. The Ambience The interior is profoundly evocative, designed to transport you to another era. The space is a tribute to historical and cultural roots, featuring: • Rustic Elegance: Textured stone walls and unfinished flooring create a grounded, ancient feel. • Traditional Artistry: The walls are adorned with rich, hand-woven tapestries and vintage curios that reflect the Silk Road influence. • Copper & Brass Accents: Throughout the dining area, earthy brass vessels and copper cookware are displayed, reminiscent of a historical Indian village or an exotic bazaar. • Warm Lighting: The dim, amber glow from ornate lanterns creates a cozy, intimate atmosphere that makes the "breaking of bread" feel like a shared ritual. The Culinary Experience The food remains the undisputed star of the show. Every dish carries the weight of tradition and precise execution. • Dal Bukhara: This legendary, slow-cooked black lentil dish is a revelation—creamy, rich, and deeply smoky. It remains the gold standard for dal globally. • Tandoori Lobster: A succulent highlight, perfectly charred in the clay oven while maintaining its delicate sweetness. • Chicken Curry & Roti: The curry is robust and aromatic, paired perfectly with the tandoor-fresh rotis that define the rustic "Frontier" style. Service & Value The service is exceptional—professional yet warm, ensuring the experience feels premium from start to finish. For a meal of this caliber, a spend of 700 AED for two (food only) is a justified investment in quality. Resume: If you are visiting the UAE, Bukhara is a must-try destination. For residents, it is the kind of place that deserves to be a regular weekly treat—a "proper" meal that never fails to impress.

Our visit to Bukhara Restaurant in Ajman was very disappointing. We are regular customers and know the quality and taste of their food well. However, our visit today was terrible. The meat was of very poor quality and had a bad smell. There was a long delay in serving the food, so much so that our young child fell asleep while we were waiting. We had traveled all the way from Dubai to Ajman to enjoy a meal, and as you know, the distance is not short. When we tried to get some compensation or an apology, we were told we had to pay the full bill, even though we had only eaten some bread and lentils, which had become cold due to the long wait. Therefore, my family and I will not be returning to this restaurant because of the poor food and bad service. Friday, February 6, 201

The food was good, but it didn’t quite meet the high expectations I had. I even drove from Dubai to try it, as it’s supposedly one of the best restaurants. In New Delhi it’s fantastic, but here it just didn’t feel the same. Overall, a decent experience but not as special as I imagined

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Bukhara, a beautifully recreated Northern Indian restaurant that provides an authentic and immersive experience similar to the famous location in New Delhi. The restaurant’s ambiance is truly impressive, featuring handmade carpets, warm mood lighting, and stone floors that create a cozy yet elegant atmosphere perfect for a memorable meal. We began our dining experience with a variety of starters, including crunchy poppadums paired with flavorful chutneys. The Papadi Chaat was a standout—crispy and topped with potato, pomegranate, tamarind, and whipped curd, offering a delightful mix of textures and flavors. We also enjoyed Amritsari Jhinga—batter-fried tiger prawns that were perfectly crispy—and Chicken Pakora infused with ginger and green chilies, fried to golden perfection. For our main course, we chose the Murgh Dum Biryani, which was aromatic and richly spiced, with tender pieces of chicken and fragrant basmati rice. The naan bread was buttery and infused with garlic, complementing the thick, flavorful onion and tomato gravy of the Paneer Tikka Masala. The Murgh Malai Kababs were incredibly tender and creamy, melting in your mouth. The highlight of the meal, however, was the Gosht Ki Nalli—succulent lamb shanks slow-cooked in a rich gravy flavored with onion, yoghurt, cardamom, and saffron. It was served with rice and naan, and the complexity of flavors was truly unforgettable. To finish, we enjoyed traditional Indian desserts such as Rasmalai—soft, spongy cottage cheese dumplings soaked in saffron-infused milk—and Gulab Jamun soaked in fragrant cardamom syrup. Both were the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Overall, Bukhara offers an exceptional Indian dining experience with authentic flavors, elegant presentation, and a warm atmosphere. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to indulge in rich Northern Indian cuisine, whether for a special occasion or just a flavorful night out.

Absolutely Amazing Experience at Bukhara - Ajman Hotel! Had one of the best North Indian dining experiences here. The food was authentic, rich in flavor, and perfectly spiced — every dish felt like a taste of India! The staff were super polite, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout. The ambience was classy yet comfortable, with a true Indian royal touch. Highly recommend their kebabs and dal bukhara — both were outstanding 🔥 Perfect place for a peaceful dinner with family or friends. Keep up the great service, team Bukhara! 👏

We went there for lunch on a Tuesday. The place was empty except for another table where I guess the hotel staff was having a team building event. Because of this, they were not serving the business lunch option advertised on each table. The food was delicious. Prices quite high for being Ajman, more in line with Dubai, but I can tell the quality was high and we massively enjoyed the food.

I have not tried the original Bukhara restaurant in New Delhi, but I have tried many good Indian restaurants in Dubai, and the verdict isn't positive for Bukhara. The ambience is nice, the service is great, but the food is average at best, and the high prices are unjustified. The Lamb Leg Beryani was just good, and so was the Butter Chicken. The appetizers were less than average, and we were not very excited to even try the desserts. Will not visit again.

The icon New Delhi restaurant has a branch in Ajman. If you like meat then this is the place to go. Not as good as the original one in India but it’s still Very Good. Ambiance is quite dark and dull. Service is friendly and attentive.

The restaurant that delivers what on promises it makes. During our recent trip to this culinary wonderland we ordered Sikandari raan which was done to perfection the meat was so tender that it would melt in one’s mouth. Paneer tikka this was an ultimate surprise and words can’t justify the taste of this item. Rest the curries and biryani items were also made to perfection. The only item that could had been better were the dessert items firni and falooda which i would rate 1out of 5. But yet on the price the hospitality and the quality of the food i would rate them 4/5.

Amazing restaurant for authentic Indian cuisine in Ajman. It used to be a franchise of the Bukhara in ITC Maurya in Delhi. The decor and service standard is just as it in Delhi. We tried our favourite Dal Makhani, Raan, Butter Chicken, Chicken biryani and the most delicious gulanjamuns. The service is really good, food was delicious and the decor was amazing. Highly recommended and only an hour away from Dubai.

Absolute Heaven. Wow. Wow. Giving 6stars out of 5. I have always wanted to dine at Bukhara, but never had even imagined it will be at Ajman In UAE. Bukhara, known from India, has always been a place i wanted to dine and have the world famous Dal Bukhara and then Fish Tikka, Jhinga (Prawn), Stuffed Mushrooms, Chicken tikka, Chicken Curry, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Bread Basket and its famous Chutneys (Papaya Chutney is amazing). Fingerlickin food, eating with the hands and wearing a Apron to not mess up with your clothes is one way to say that “Just Dig In” and dont think. Just enjoy. Thank you Nizar (Restaurant Manager), Sumi, Sameer for your phenomenal service. You guys are the stars. You made my Parents 50th Anniversary celebration a super duper success. Cant thank you enough for organising everything for me and also getting a cake. Chef Gagan. What you have done with the food, the team and its amazing delivery is outstanding. Love it. Looking forward to being there soon. Again.

This didn’t disappoint, it is a little over priced. And I struggled to say it because the food was amazing but the price just stopped it being 5 stars. But would still come again when we are here. We will just cut out the water and the drinks as that will help with the bill.

Heard a lot about bukhara and had to try it out. The ambience is allrite they need to do something new as this restaurant has been surviving since 1999. I would give 5 stars for the current head chef Gagan. A very friendly person and makes sure he visits every table and check on guests. The food in my honest opinion is as good as any decent restaurant in Dubai nothing really out of the box. I dont think its value for money. However, they need to change with time and adopt newer strategies and be more creative in presentation, add newer flavours. It's allrite for Ajman.

In a store where the experience was particularly poor, the waiter threw away my Invisalign when he was cleaning up the table, and then went to the trash can to find it for me. I asked them how to do if everything was dirty. They said they could wash it. I ask them that you would wash the garbage and put it in your mouth?Even in the process of looking for garbage, they also found that the waiter put the fork in the trash can, and then took it out and continued to wash it for customers. And when them got off work, the waiter was very anxious to get off work. That's why they threw away my braces by mistake. The experience was very poor. The hygiene in the store was very worrying. I thought I wanted to have a good vacation, but it seriously affected my mood. Now I will think of the garbage when I wear braces. This kind of store should close as soon as possible. Don't open it and harm customers again.

The food at Bukhara was outstanding! One of the BEST Indian Food experiences we have had in the UAE. Our waiter, Mr, Akeel, was super polite and made excellent recommendations. The very talented Chef de Cuisine, Mr. Gagandeep Singh, has been featured in UAE Top Chefs, and it shows on every single dish he presents. Highly recommended. We have already booked a second dinner here. If you like Indian Cuisine, you CANNOT get a better meal than at Bukhara situated at the Ajman Hotel!
